The modern era of classical silicon-based computing is at the edge of a number of technological challenges which include huge energy consumption, requirement of massive memory space, and generation of e-waste. The proposed alternative to this pitfall is nanocomputing, which was first exemplified in the form of DNA computing. Recently, DNA computing is gaining acceptance in the field of eco-friendly, unconventional, nature-inspired computation. The future of computing depends on making it renewable, as this can cause a drastic improvement in energy consumption. Thus, to save the natural resources and to stop the growing toxicity of the planet, reversibility is being imposed on DNA computing so that it can replace the traditional form of computation. This chapter reflects the foundation of DNA computing and renewability of this multidisciplinary domain that can be produced optimally and run from available natural resources.

In this paper we analyze the first story-book of the internationally renowned contemporary Hungarian storyteller, Csenge Virág Zalka. In the first section we investigate the differences between folktale and literary tale, storyteller and story writer, further-/retold heritage and own creation as well as how the boundaries between them destabilize if we note down the folktale originally living in the oral traditional form. Furthermore, we will be discussing the female horizon prevalent in the Zalkaian tale-variants as well as the all-time topicality of the stories by putting the contemporary social and psychological analogies and taboo-breaking procedures of the tales in the foreground. In the focus of our investigation the Ribizli a világ végén [Currant at the End of the World] stands as a literary creation, which although we (also) analyze with an approach coming from the relevant literature of folktales and remade fairy tales, we do this all the way through the analysis in light of the postmodern text-organizing strategies.

The epidemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) has necessitated the search for new formats of doing business. Companies that have taken the initiative and taken advantage of e-commerce have been able to achieve significant success. This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the legislation of Ukraine on the subject of legal regulation of requirements for the form, content and procedure for concluding a business agreement in the relevant field. The main requirements related to the specifics of the implementation of contractual relations in this area are primarily related to the circulation of electronic documents, as well as the need to certify the integrity of the data transmitted by them. As a result of the study, it was found that the basic requirements for concluding a business contract in the traditional form remain relevant in the field of e-commerce. At the same time, the legislation over-regulates some aspects of the contractual relationship, leaving the parties little freedom to choose modern means of communication.

The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of the formation of universal and professional competencies of doctors healthcare organizers during distance learning on training cycles. The objectives of the study included the development of an additional professional advanced training program "Organization of health care and public health" with the inclusion of a training module using distance learning technologies (DLT) "Development and implementation of a quality management system in a medical organization", development of a distance course "Organization of internal quality control and safety of medical activities" with an adapted system for assessing the level of competence formation in the form of test control and experimental verification of the effectiveness of the formation of universal and professional competencies of doctors healthcare organizers in distance learning in comparison with the traditional form in training cycles. Reliable results have been obtained on the effective formation of competencies both in traditional learning and in learning using DLT. The assessment of the reliability of the differences in test results after training between the experimental group, trained using DLT, and the control group, using the traditional form of training, was carried out. There were no statistically significant differences in test results between the compared groups. Thus, the results of the study indicate that the use of DLT in teaching and the education quality control system adapted to them makes it possible to effectively form the universal and professional competencies of doctors in the courses of advanced training. At the same time, mandatory preliminary measures should be taken, including the development of a professional development program with the inclusion of a distance learning module and the development of a distance course with an adapted knowledge control system.

This article complements an article (part 1) recently published in this journal (72(1) NILQ 29–60) contending that the notion of associative discrimination as a term of art renders it so vulnerable to manipulation that it can be used to narrow the scope of the legislation. That argument was rooted in the UK Supreme Court’s reasoning in Lee v Ashers Bakery [2018] UKSC 49. Part 2 continues the theme, but this time to show that the vulnerability can work the other way, producing, first, an ‘extended’ notion of associative discrimination and, second, radically broad notions of direct and indirect discrimination. This limb of the thesis also argues that a case heralded as one of associative discrimination, CHEZ [2016] CMLR 14, was no such thing. It concludes that the ambitious approach of the European Court of Justice and its Advocates General will blur the traditional form-based distinction between direct and indirect discrimination.

Bharathanatyam is practiced for the purpose of experiencing aesthetic pleasure by the actor, dancer and spectator (Rao, 1997). According to ancient treatises such as the Natya Sastra, dancing should be experiential, sensorial and pleasurable. When dance is transmitted, do these core values of the practice get lost? How can we heighten sensorial ranges through the facilitation of a shift in the transmission and dissemination of learning the component Rasa (emotion)? Some of the problems present in the current landscape of learning Bharathantayam is problematic due to the codification of the traditional form and the authoritarian style rooted in its pedagogy. This has left many students feeling incompetent and as a consequence, made the form unattainable. The purpose of my intervention is to make the learning of Sringara Rasa (the emotion of love) a component in the Bharathanatyam curriculum, accessible to all levels of dancers. I hope to achieve this through a sequential model that interrogates cognitive activities present in the engagement of a role or character performing the emotion. My intervention aims at reexamining the theory and practice of Padams (poetic texts) rooted in the Sringara Rasa (emotion of love) and bridging the gaps in learning this component. When dancers introspect, it allows them to access the sensorial dimension of Bharathanatyam.

Abstract This article analyses the concept of virtual currencies by examining the origin and evolution of money in its’ classical form, identifies why classic money needs to evolve and why virtual currencies could represent the next step in their evolution (Vlasov, 2017). With the emergence of Bitcoin, terms as ‘blockchain technology’ and ‘virtual currencies’ have gained great notoriety. One of the reasons virtual currencies became so popular is that people believe that they could be very promising and could be capable to replace money in their traditional form. This being considered, the article tries to achieve the following objectives: to provide an overview on the evolution of money; make a comparison between virtual currencies and classic money; analyse the potential of virtual currency to replace fiat money (Jumde & Cho, 2020). The focus of this article was to gain a holistic insight into the new technology and its power to revolutionise the financial system. The study was performed by comparing various sources and examining existing studies, official reports issued by the EU institutions, opinions of various experts and financial journals articles, in order to create knowledge on the topic, as well as the author’s interpretation of the research material.

Abstract It is shown that the predominant nucleation of diamond nuclei (instead of graphite ones) in plasma or hot-filament assisted CVD technology is due to a sharp increase in the temperature of the region of the initial gas mixture’s motion. The nucleation of diamond nuclei then occurs immediately in the gas phase. The reason for such predominant nucleation is high oversaturation by small hydrocarbon fragments in the gas mixture, due to a rapid change in temperature and substantial differences between the desorption of such fragments from the surfaces of nuclei and the oxidation of nuclei. A way is described of synthesizing massive diamonds without the use of high pressures and CVD technology in its traditional form.

Carrying out religious processions (as a traditional form of spiritual heritage) to stop the «disastrous epidemic» has become important in connection with the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Processions during various «pestilences» are an ancient practice and an integral part of the life of the Church: processions were sometimes referred to as the only way to get rid of epidemics. The pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has made adjustments to all spheres of human life, including its religious and ritual component. Some processions, which had already become were canceled, others were carried out despite the prohibitions of the sanitary authorities, gathering a large number of pilgrims (such as the Tutaevsky, Korobeinikovsky or Velikoretsky religious processions). On the one hand, this type of confession of faith in the public space mobilizes and consolidates believers, thereby demonstrating the sociocultural role of the procession, on the other hand, violations or ignoring by the participants of the march of sanitary and epidemiological recommendations aimed at preventing the spread of the virus have become a source of disagreement among society (regardless of the religious system of perception). Pandemic 2019– 2020 gave impetus to the spread of unusual forms of religious processions: air and in the form of a car rally (in order to minimize the spread of the virus). In this article, an attempt is made to summarize the available data on religious processions during a pandemic, and also, relying on archival sources, to consider in a historical context the holding of religious processions during various epidemics.
