Este estudo analisa os impactos socioeconômicos na vida das famílias reassentadas no Residencial Antônio Vinagre pelo Programa de Saneamento da Bacia da Estrada Nova (Promaben), na cidade de Belém (PA). Com base no método dialético, a pesquisa contou com levantamento bibliográfico e documental, além de pesquisa de campo, a qual investigou 52 moradores reassentados para o referido residencial, correspondendo a 49,52% do total de famílias reassentadas. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam para a desarticulação nas estratégias de sobrevivência dos moradores, expressas nas variáveis:aumento de taxas de energia e água, aumento do custo de vidae perda das atividades de trabalho. Oreassentamento não alterou a condição de subalternidade do morador trabalhador, pois apenas a alteração do lugar de moradia dos trabalhadores não modifica sua condição de sobrevivência enquanto classe trabalhadora. Palavras-Chave: reassentamento de famílias; impactos socioeconômicos; desarticulação das estratégias de sobrevivência; Promaben.  Abstract– This study analyzes the socioeconomic impacts on the lives of families resettled at the Residencial Antônio Vinagre by the Estrada Nova River Basin Sanitation Program (Promaben), in the city of Belém, Pará. Based on the dialectical method, the research had a bibliographical and documentary survey, as well as field research, which investigated 52 residents resettled to the referred residential area, corresponding to 49.52% of the total resettled families. The results of the research point to the disarticulation in the survival strategies of the residents, expressed in the following variables: increase of power and water rates, increase in the cost of living, and loss of work activities. Resettlement did not change the status of subalternity of the working dweller, since only the change in the place of residence of workers does not modify their condition of survival as a working class. Keywords: resettlement of families; socioeconomic impacts; disruption of survival strategies; Promaben.

Abstract Language relations as manifestations of the phenomenon of multilingualism are also expressed in the area of the so-called linguistic landscape. Undoubtedly, the linguistic landscape not only reflects the use of languages in public space but at the same time reveals the depth of public perception of different languages, depending on their function and prestige. In this paper, I will treat Albanian, English and Serbian rapports through their coverage in the Pristina linguistic landscape, focusing on the use of these languages in advertising space in the city of Prishtina and in other tables that perform semiotic functions of indexes in this city. Likewise, within the reflection of the status planning of languages in Prishtina linguistic landscape, the use of Serbian in the official tables will be treated. This case study will also reflect the features of language policy and the impact of the globalization phenomenon in different languages. The results presented in this paper will reflect on the field research within a certain time span. The research has shown that in the Pristina linguistic landscape, in addition to the Albanian language, English has a dense use, while the use of Serbian is mostly limited to official charts i.e. names of the streets of the city and is not found in private advertisements tables.

Abstract Presentation of contemporary trends in development of such residential units as peripheral housing estates in large Polish cities, as exemplified by Warsaw, is the objective of the paper. Such units are compared with their counterparts being built in Berlin. Research was carried out in three housing estates in the western part of the Bemowo District of Warsaw, i.e. Lazurowa (developer J.W. Construction), Nad Jeziorem (developer DoR Group) and Villa L’Azur (developer Bouygues Immobilier Polska). The first two were completed at the turn of 2008/2009. The third is in the final stage of construction. All three are located inside immediate city borders. Within framework of research were carried out analysis of developers’ materials, cartographic materials from the City Hall as well as field research. The results were juxtaposed with research made in 2008 in Berlin.

The present paper presents the results of a study on the assessment of the damages caused by the arson that in March 2013 severely damaged the building of the "Science Centre" museum located in the western part of the city of Naples. The case is contextualized in the broader thematic of the evaluation of damages caused by intentional events to real estate assets. The peculiarity of the case under analysis appears particularly interesting both for the extend of damages caused by the fire and the methodological approach to be adopted for the “quantum” determination. The model implemented is based on the cost approach criterion, considering the physical and technological depreciation in the “status quo ante” the event. In particular, we will test a “functional component” approach to determine the depreciation function for each component due to the specificity of the scientific building under analysis. The results of the study confirmed that the proposed approach appears to be adequate to estimate the damage to the real estate assets, managing to capture the different components that contribute to determining the market value of the property at hand.

Озеленение является важнейшей составляющей целого комплекса градостроительства. Согласно градостроительным нормам насаждения должны занимать определенную площадь в жилом районе, микрорайоне, промышленной зоне, поэтому необходимо выявить их процентное соотношение по отношению ко всем зеленым территориям города и оценить их реальное состояние, дать рекомендации по уходу и содержанию. Наметить в районах города мероприятия по озеленению для того, чтобы нормы озеленения соответствовали принятым государственным нормативам. В результате этого изменится экологическое состояние города, повысится качество отдыха населения. При оценке озелененности территорий природного комплекса г. Воронежа в ходе натурного обследования территорий фиксировались различные показатели, которые позволили определить оценку существующих насаждений, устойчивость, оценку эстетического состояния насаждений. При этом использовался визуальный способ, основанный на балльной шкале оценки состояния по внешним признакам и инструментальный, основанный на измерении морфологических параметров растений. В результате исследований был определен уровень озелененности каждого жилого района и найдена общая площадь зеленых участков зеленой зоны города, которая составила 9,3 м² зеленых насаждений на одного жителя города. Таким образом, норма озеленения на одного жителя меньше нормативной. Было установлено, что обеспечение города объектами озеленения общего пользования также на 6,7 м² меньше нижнего предела рекомендуемых нормативов и на 10 м² меньше оптимального уровня озеленения. Таким образом, определено состояние зеленых насаждений на парковых территориях г. Воронежа и даны рекомендации для улучшения качественных показателей озелененности территорий, которые будут способствовать повышению декоративности и устойчивости насаждений к неблагоприятным внешним воздействиям. Greening is an essential component of a complex urban development. According to the town planning norms plantations should occupy a certain area in a residential area, district, industrial area, so it is necessary to identify their percentage in relation to all the green areas of the city and to evaluate their real condition, give advice on care and maintenance. As a result, that will change the ecological state of the city, improve the quality of recreation. In assessing the planting area of natural complex of the city of Voronezh in the full-scale survey areas recorded various measures to enable an assessment to determine the existing plantings, sustainability, evaluation of the aesthetic state plantations. This used a visual method based on the grading scale for evaluating the state of the external signs and tool, based on the measurement of morphological parameters of the plant. As a result, research has been defined for each level landscaping of residential area and found the total area of green areas green areas of the city, which was 9.3 m² of green space per inhabitant of the city. Thus, planting rate per capita is less than normative. It has been found that the provision of shared objects city greening 6.7 m² also below the lower limit of recommended standards and 10 m² level is less than optimal planting. Thus, it defines the status of green space in the park area of Voronezh and recommendations for improvement of quality indicators of green areas, which will help in creasedecorative plants and resistance to adverse external influences

Drawing on field research and a survey of 150 Zimbabwean migrants in Johannesburg, this paper explores the dimensions of migrants’ transnational experiences in the urban space. I discuss the use of communication platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook as well as other means such as telephone calls in fostering the embedding of transnational migrants within both the Johannesburg and the Zimbabwean socio-economic environments. I engage this migrant-embedding using Bourdieusian concepts of “transnational habitus” and “transnational social field,” which are migration specific variations of Bourdieu’s original concepts of “habitus” and “social field.” In deploying these Bourdieusian conceptual tools, I observe that the dynamics of South–South migration as observed in the Zimbabwean migrants are different to those in the South–North migration streams and it is important to move away from using the same lens in interpreting different realities. For Johannesburg-based migrants to operate within the socio-economic networks produced in South Africa and in Zimbabwe, they need to actively acquire a transnational habitus. I argue that migrants’ cultivation of networks in Johannesburg is instrumental, purposive, and geared towards achieving specific and immediate goals, and latently leads to the development and sustenance of flexible forms of permanency in the transnational urban space.

The article presents a comparative analysis of fortification art monuments in such East countries from Ancient Egypt to medieval China. An attempt is made to identify the main stages of the fortification development from a stand-alone fortress (citadel, fort) to the most complex systems of urban and border fortifications, including moats, walls and gates, battle towers. It is shown that the nature of these architectural structures is determined by the status of the city or settlement, its natural landscape, building structures and materials, the development of military and engineering art. The materials from poliorceticon (Greek: poliorketikon, poliorketika), illustrate the main types of siege machines and mechanisms. The advantages and disadvantages of boundary shafts and long walls (limes). The most striking examples are the defensive systems of Assyria, New Babylon, Judea and Ancient China.

The article concentrates on the colonial and postcolonial history, architecture and topography of the southeastern areas of London, where on both banks of the River Thames in the 18th–20th centuries there were located the docks, which became an architectural and engineering response to the rapidly developing trade of England with territories in the Western and Eastern hemispheres of the world. Constructions for various purposes — pools for loading, unloading and repairing ships, piers, shipyards, office and warehouse premises, sites equipped with forges, carpenter’s workshops, shops, canteens, hotels — have radically changed the bank line of the Thames and appearance of the British capital, which has acquired the status of the center of a huge empire. Docks, which by the beginning of the 20th century, occupied an area of 21 hectares, were the seamy side of an imperial-colonial enterprise, a space of hard and routine work that had a specific architectural representation. It was a necessary part of the city intended for the exchange of goods, where the usual ideas about the beauty gave way to considerations of safety, functionality and economy. Not distinguished by architectural grace, chaotically built up, dirty, smoky and fetid, the area was one of the most significant symbols of England during the industrial revolution and colonial rule. The visual image of this greatness was strikingly different from the architectural samples of previous eras, forcing contemporaries to get used to the new industrial aesthetics. Having disappeared in the second half of the 20th century from the city map, they continue to retain a special place in the mental landscape of the city and the historical memory of the townspeople, which is reflected in the chain of museums located in this area that tell the history of English navigation, England’s participation in geographical discoveries, the stages of conquering the world, creating an empire and ways to acquire the wealth of the nation.

This study aims to analyze whether the difference that occurs in the cost of raw materials, direct labor, and factory overhead costs between the standard costs and the actual costs in PLTU LATI is a difference that is favorable or unfavorable. Data collection techniques with field research and library research. The analytical tool used is the analysis of the difference in raw material costs, the difference in direct labor costs and the difference in factory overhead costs. The hypothesis in this study is that the difference allegedly occurs in the cost of raw materials, direct labor costs, and factory overhead costs at PT Indo Pusaka Berau Tanjung Redeb is a favorable difference. The results showed that the difference in the cost of producing MWh electricity at PT Indo Pusaka Berau Tanjung Redeb in 2018, namely the difference in the price of raw material costs Rp. 548,029.80, - is favorable, the difference in quantity of raw materials is Rp. 957,216,602, - is (favorable) , the difference in direct labor costs Rp 2,602,642,084, - is (unfavorable), and the difference in factory overhead costs Rp 8,807,051,422, - is (favorable) This shows that the difference in the overall production cost budget is favorable or profitable. This beneficial difference shows that the company is really able to reduce production costs optimally in 2018.

Sports Tourism as a segment is growing exponentially in Brazil. The sports mega-events that occurred in the period from 2007 to 2016 helped strengthen this sector significantly. This article examined tourism mobility during the Summer Olympic Games Rio 2016, hosted by the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This study expands the understanding of the relationship between tourism and city infrastructure, therefore being relevant to academics, professionals of the area and to the whole society due to its multidisciplinary field. The existence of a relationship between means of transportation and the Olympic regions as well as tourist attractions for a possible legacy was observed. Data were collected from official sources, field research and through participant-observation and semi structured interviews. Data were coded and analyzed. The results indicate that the city was overall successful in its execution of sufficient mobility. New means of transportation were added and others updated. BRT's (Bus Rapid Transit) were the main use of mass transport to Olympic sites. However, a lack of public transport access was observed for the touristic sites.
