<p style="text-align: justify;">During the period of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the boundaries between the home and the school as study spaces were blurred. School studies entered the home, with the parents present and observing their children’s e-lessons and the teachers’ teaching methods. The purpose of the current study was to explore the explicit and implicit attitudes of the lesson partners: teachers, parents, and students, to e-learning. The study explores whether and to what degree the attitudes of teachers, students, and parents to e-teaching are compatible, and what are the implications for the future. The study shows that although in recent years the relationships between parents and the school and between teachers and students have waned, with regard to the separation of authorities between the home and school, the period of the COVID-19 crisis clarified the need to enhance the relationship and cooperation between the home and the school as two meaningful study spaces for independent learners. The research findings raise the paradox that not only does technology not increase the distance rather it has the potential to strengthen the relationships between parents, teachers, and the school. The study points to the need to prepare holistic guidance sessions and professional development courses.</p>

With the outstanding improvements in technology, the number of e-learning applications has increased greatly. This increment is associated with awareness levels of educational institutions on the related improvements and the power of communication and computer technologies to ensure effective and efficient teaching and learning experiences for teachers and students. Consequently, there is a technological flow that changes the standards of e-learning processes and provides better ways to obtain desired educational objectives. When we consider today's widely used technological factors, Web-based e-learning approaches have a special role in directing the educational standards. Improvements among m-learning applications and the popularity of the Artificial Intelligence usage for educational works have given great momentum to this orientation. In this sense, this chapter provides some ideas on the future of intelligent Web-based e-learning applications by thinking on the current status of the literature. As it is known, current trends in developing Artificial Intelligence-supported e-learning tools continue to shape the future of e-learning. Therefore, it is an important approach to focus on the future. The author thinks that the chapter will be a brief but effective enough reference for similar works, which focus on the future of Artificial Intelligence-supported distance education and e-learning.

The Glasgow School of Art has a long history of the cultivation of the art of drawing. Many types of drawing have been taught and practiced within the institution since its establishment in 1845. Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art building, completed between 1897 and 1909, can be seen as one great outcome of that design-through-tradition. The building not only sheltered and thus enabled a further cultivation of the art of drawing, but became itself a model for the practices of that drawing tradition. There is a strong body of work, much of it by teachers and students of the Mackintosh School of Architecture, which has focussed on the building and explored through drawing the architectonic features and significance of the structure. This work has been useful as a teaching and critical aid but also as a contribution to the art and discipline of architecture. In the wake of the first 2014 fire, which destroyed part of the building, this body of work suddenly became of use as a design tool rather than simply an exploratory or critical tool, as the institution sought to reproduce exactly what had been lost. The most recent 2018 fire wreaked a destruction much more comprehensive across the whole building. Accordingly, we are forced to completely review the relationship of that drawing heritage to the building. That is to say, the building largely no longer exists, and the drawings take on a life of their own in a way not previously attached to them. The school may, however, be rebuilt, recreated ‘as was’ at some point in the future, potentially instigating yet another type of relationship between the existing drawing work and a new ‘Mackintosh’ building.

AbstractThe author reports her experience of and observations on the teaching of sociology at the Free University of Berlin. She examines the teaching behavior of the instructors, the relationship between colleagues, and those between teachers and students. Certain tendencies in the practice of teaching are viewed as expressing a form of coping by projection with the failures experienced in trying to reform studies, failures that are in fact caused by the unfavorable real conditions at the university. A tendency to make university teaching more like schooling is observed; reasons for this are found in the effects of pressure towards professional competition, which prevents both fruitful cooperation between instructors and genuine communication with students. The additional difficulties experienced by women in teaching are described. In the final section conclusions are drawn in the form of practical suggestions which take account of the actual possibilities of a university with very large numbers of students.

<p>In the following research, the relationship between instructional interaction and student persistence in e-learning has been analyzed. In order to conduct a descriptive- analytic survey, 744 undergraduate e-students were selected by stratified random sampling method to examine not only the frequency and the methods of establishing an instructional interaction, but also the barriers to the student persistence in e-learning. The research findings confirmed the relationship between the instructors’ and the students’ application of two interaction methods including the discussion forum and email (asynchronous method), as well as the relationship between the frequency of instructional interaction and the student persistence in e-learning. According to the findings, family and job commitment, loss of instructional motivation and economic problems constitute the most important barriers to the student persistence in e-learning. The research results can help reduce one of the primary concerns of online learning, that is the student persistence rate, if they would be implemented in various instructional systems such as higher instructional system, for the purpose of providing favorable condition in e-learning, facilitating online learning interactions and, eventually, increasing the student persistence in e-learning.</p>

The advantage of presence learning is the ability to spontaneously discuss issues and problems with students face to face. Individual learning can be improved by changing teaching methods, for example through project work or tele -tutoring. by combining presence learning with phases of e-learning and also intensive telephone counselling. The following question is the focus of the report: What guiding principles for learning should the teachers at schools or universities stri ve for in the digital age and how can they implement these guidelines in the work assignments? "The belief that education can, in any case, be replaced by a computer program is a myth. Human contact and mentoring make a significant difference in the learning outcomes", says Sebastian Thrun (Professor at Stanford University and vice president of Google). He looks at both educational traditions, which see the trust and the relationship between the teachers and the pupils or students as the basis of learning, as well as at the results of empirical research on learning. "Even for the digital technology and new media the educational primacy applies: Man is and remains the teacher of man" (Lankau, 2014).

Entrepreneurship skill is considered as an essential skill in the current era of Industry 4.0. The past literature has reported that entrepreneur intention of an individual plays a significant role in his or her decision to establish a new firm and getting involved with business activities. Hence, this study aims to investigate the influence of the personality and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention among the future technical professionals in the non-for-profit higher education institution of Malaysia. Moreover, the moderating effect of gender on the relationship between personality and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention was also examined in the present study. A total of 475 responses were collected with the use of survey questionnaire from the future technical professionals from non-for-profit higher education institutions in Malaysia. The results of this study show that personality and attitude of future technical professionals were found to have a significant impact on the entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, gender also found to have a moderating effect on the relationship between personality and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention. The practical implications of the research findings were discussed.

Abstrak: Ditengah masa pademik Covid-19 saat ini telah mengubah paradigma konsep pembelajaran diseluruh institusi pendidikan secara signifikan tidak hanya di Indonesia, bahkan dunia. Hal ini dialami pula oleh SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap Jakarta Timur. Kegiatan belajar yang selama ini dilakukan dengan metode konvensional yakni tatap muka langsung antara Siswa dengan Guru harus diubah konsepnya yakni dengan menggunakan pembelajaran secara jarak jauh atau daring untuk mengantisipasi penyebaran virus Covid-19 sesuai dengan instruksi pemerintah dalam menerapkan social distancing dan physical distancing. Dengan membangun suatu media belajar secara elektronik atau dikenal dengan istilah e-learning diharapkan menjadi suatu media pembelajaran yang cukup efektif untuk menjadi salah satu solusi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring atau jarak jauh ditengah masa pandemi ini dimana interaksi antara pendidik dan peserta didik saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran dapat dilakukan diluar kelas atau sekolah. Menggunakan model Waterfall, Framework Code Igniter, PHP & MySql, Javascript serta Visual Studio Code sebagai text editor, pembangunan sistem informasi berbasis e-learning ini diharapkan menjadi alternatif solusi yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran secara daring yang dilakukan oleh SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap Jakarta Timur untuk menjembatani hubungan antara Guru dan Siswa dalam berinteraksi tanpa harus bertatap muka secara langsung sehingga pelaksanaan pembelajaran berjalan  dengan maksimal. Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, E-Learning, Code Igniter, Model Waterfall Abstract: In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the current paradigm has changed the concept of learning not only in Indonesia, but even in the world. This was also made by SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap, East Jakarta. Learning activities have been carried out using conventional methods, namely face-to-face direct contact between students and teachers, the concept must be changed, namely using distance learning or being brave to anticipate the spread of the Covid-19 virus in accordance with government regulations in implementing social distancing and physical distancing. By building an electronic learning media or known as e-learning, it is hoped that it will become a learning media that is effective enough to be one of the solutions in carrying out learning in a bold or long distance in the middle of a time where the interaction between educators and students during the implementation of learning can be done outside class or school. Using the Waterfall model, Code Igniter Framework, PHP & MySql, Javascript and Visual Studio Code as a text editor, the development of an e-learning-based information system is expected to be an alternative solution that can help the learning process carried out by SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap East Jakarta for bridging the relationship between teachers and students in a count without having to meet face to face so that the implementation of learning runs optimally. The study aims to identify the obstacles facing teachers in Palestine society while adopting e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results show the most critical obstacle continues to be the infrastructure of the educational system. Other obstacles include technical support, the readiness of all stakeholders, and remote technological education skills and competencies. The study also shows many obstacles, including students&rsquo; failure to attend classes in full, assessment of students, and learning online. The study highlights the critical success factors for the adoption of e-learning. E-learning requires skills and competencies for both teachers and students. Teachers must also adopt various teaching methods accounting for individual differences, learning styles, and psychological support. Those teaching methods need advanced training before implementing them in Palestine. Additional recommendations were made including spreading electronic culture, increasing awareness of society partnership, enriching teacher education programs, conducting trainings for teachers, and conducting further researches similar to this study.

This study focuses on the relationship of transformational leadership characteristics in teacher educators and their multicultural education practices as an avenue to prepare and produce more teachers for the increasingly diverse P-12 student population in the 21st century. The more transformational leadership characteristics teacher educators possess, the more multicultural education practices are carried out by them towards producing and transforming teachers to carry out the same characteristics and practices in their classroom. Examples in this study illustrate the importance of the relationship in the teacher educator/teacher-student cycle. Overall, the research findings support that there is a relationship between teacher educators' transformational leadership characteristics and multicultural education practices. Finally, this study highlights the need to provide professional development for teacher educators to enhance their transformational leadership characteristics as well as their multicultural education practices.
