A multivariate analysis of the quantitative relationship of antioxidant structure and activity of a series of benzoic acid derivatives based on computational chemical properties was calculated. The parameters were obtained from the optimized structure of ionization pKa and hydrophobic ClogP while the compound activity was obtained from the literature. Analysis of the relationship between antioxidant activity and chemical properties of the compound was performed with the SPSS 21 program. The analysis result gives the best equation model as follows: Log 1 / IC50 = –1.514 + 0,516 log P + 0.087 pKa (n = 10 r = 0,962 SE = 0,301 Fcalc./Ftable = 1,422).

This research was conducted to determine the molecular structure modeling and the quantitative relationship of the activity structure (QSAR) of substituted myristicin derivatives with electron donor groups such as -C6H5 (M1), -NH2 (M2), -Cl (M3), -F (M4), and -H (M5). The results of geometry optimization with the DFT (Density Fractal Theory) method or density functional calculations calculated with the density level of B3LYP/6-31G each obtained the total energy of each compound M1- M5: M1: 175.49 kcal/mol M2: 132.707 kcal/mol, M3: 115.701 kcal/mol, M4: 116.048 kcal/mol, M5: 121.377 kcal/mol. Determining the relationship between descriptors and the antioxidant activity (IC50) for basic structure myristicin compounds and five derivatives was carried out using SPSS 21. The results of the correlation analysis showed that there was a relationship between the descriptors and antioxidant activity. Determining the best QSAR equation model is done by analyzing multiple linear and multilinear regression using IBM SPSS 21. The results of multiple linear regression analysis or multilinear regression obtained for the best QSAR equation model are: Log P = -2.600 + (0.006) IW- (1.558) qC8 - (6.532) EHOMO + (0.014) PSA + (0.133) MD with n = 6, R = 1.000, R2 = 0.926, SE = 0.

AbstractThe process of resource utilization by Dendroctonus frontalis Zimmerman attacking loblolly pine, Pinus taeda L., was investigated. The quantitative relationship of attacking parent adult D. frontalis as a function of the normalized infested bole height is described by the model y = Ax(1−x)eBx. Greatest attack density occurs at the mid-bole of the tree and tapers toward the top and bottom. Gallery length (and hence eggs)/100 cm2 was independent of attack density. The relationship between gallery length (or eggs) per parent adult and parent adult density is described by the exponential decay curve y = AeBx, indicating that gallery length and egg population density are controlled by a density dependent compensatory feedback process operating instantaneously. Further support for the mechanism was obtained by analyzing the gallery length per parent adult at different locations on the infested bole. The relationship is described by the model y = [AeBx]/[x(1−x)] and indicates that gallery construction and egg population per attacking beetle increase in the upper and basal portion of the bole. The result is a uniform amount of food and space per individual of the developing population.

Along with the development of technology in retail, consumers have increased their expectation about experience convenience in retail. Starting with the growth of various platform, the next development is the experience that combined both offline and online service known as Omnichannel. The Omnichannel Service Adoption is explained by Wixom Model shows the relationship of object-based beliefs, channel integration quality, perceived fluency, and internal and external usage experience as moderating effects of perceived fluency. The adoption of Omnichannel is important to deliver a consistency of data and user experience compared to multichannel. The research uses quantitative approach with Structural Equation Model (SEM) PLS for data analytic. The population is referred to Berrybenka, a prominent fashion e-commerce in Jakarta, customers. The result shows that Breadth Channel Choice, Channel Service Transparency, Content Consistency and Process Consistency have a significant and positive influence on perceived fluency. The implication and limitation of the research are also highlighted.

Electronic structure and inhibition activity relationship study of curcumin analogs has been established for 29 curcumin analogs on Ethoxyresorufin O-Dealkylation (EROD) reaction using atomic net charge descriptor based on AM1 semiempirical calculations. The QSAR (Quantitative Structure and Activities Relationships) equation model was determined by statistical parameter from multiple regression analysis and leave-one-out cross validation method. The best QSAR equation was described:   Keywords: curcumin, QSAR, descriptor, atomic net charge, semiempirical methods.

The relationship of the mean weight diameter of water-stable aggregates to certain soil properties (clay, organic matter, free iron, free aluminum, and polysaccharide contents) and the relationship of the increase in aggregation caused by VAMA to the same properties of 24 New Brunswick soils were evaluated by correlation and regression analyses.Simple correlation coefficients relating aggregation to soil properties indicated that organic matter (r = 0.627), polysaccharides (r = 0.602), and aluminum (r = 0.679) were the most important factors. However, when the influence of each factor was separated by partial correlation, the coefficients were not significant. On the other hand, the combined effects of all factors as indicated by the multiple correlation coefficient (r = 0.743) was significant at the 1% level. The effect of the same soil properties on response to VAMA, as shown by increase in mean weight diameter, indicated that clay exerted the greatest influence. The relationship with other factors was nonsignificant.

Objective: To assess whether the relationship of an ADHD diagnosis by adolescence to nonprescription stimulant use in adulthood is direct or indirect, via Conduct Disorder (CD) and/or Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Method: Data were obtained from multiple waves of interviews and questionnaires completed by 551 community-based participants when they were between the mean ages of 14.1 and 36.6 years. Results: The results of the structural equation model (SEM) supported both a direct association between early ADHD and later nonprescription stimulant use ( B = .18, z = 2.74) and the relationship from ADHD to later nonprescription stimulant use ( B = .01, z = 1.72) via CD and SUD. Conclusion: The longitudinal data supporting these paths suggest that efforts to prevent and treat the misuse of nonprescription stimulants may be more effective if attention is paid to those with a history of ADHD, as well as to those who also had CD and SUD.

Parenting is a pattern of interaction between parents and children or can be said to be the attitude or behavior of parents when interacting with children, including how to apply the rules, teach values or norms, give attention and love and show good attitudes and behaviors so that they become role models for their children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of parenting parents with children interpersonal Intelligence in Wonokerto, Lumajang. The research design used Correlational analytical. The Samples are 44 kindergarten students with using total sampling. The data analysis with Spearman Rank. The results of the relationship analysis of parenting parents with kindergarten interpersonal intelligence obtained that the practice of the majority parenting is authoritarian parenting as much as 20 (45.5%). Interpersonal intelligence of kindergarten children is a good majority of 40 (90.9%). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between parenting pattern with children interpersonal Intelligence in Wonokerto, Lumajang.
