The idea of the present paper is the use of the known information on study variable for enhanced estimation of average paddy production of Pira Nagar village at Barabanki District in India under the Simple Random Sampling Scheme. This known information is utilzed in the form of median of primary variable as it is readily available and does not require every unit of the population to be inquired. The Bias and MSE of the suggested estimator are derived up to approximation of degree one.The minimum value of the MSE of suggested estimator is also obtained by optimizing the characterizing scalar. The MSE has also been compared with the considered competing estimators both theoretically and empirically. The theoretical efficiency conditions of the suggested estimator to be better than the considered estimators are verified using natural population on primary data collected from Pira Nagar Village at Barabanki District of Uttar Pradesh state in India.

AbstractThe present paper provides a remedy for improved estimation of population mean of a study variable, using the information related to an auxiliary variable in the situations under Simple Random Sampling Scheme. We suggest a new class of estimators of population mean and the Bias and MSE of the class are derived upto the first order of approximation. The least value of the MSE for the suggested class of estimators is also obtained for the optimum value of the characterizing scaler. The MSE has also been compared with the considered existing competing estimators both theoretically and empirically. The theoretical conditions for the increased efficiency of the proposed class, compared to the competing estimators, is verified using a natural population.

In literature, several ratio type estimators of population mean were proposed by statisticians but none of them made pair wise comparison of these estimators. In this paper an attempt has been made for pair wise efficiency comparison of the same and find out the different conditions on which one estimator performed better than the other. Depending on the structure of data used, the efficiency comparison of these estimators is varied in certain circumstances. In this study we have revealed the efficiency conditions of the existing ratio estimators, through pair wise comparisons and examine the relative performance of ratio estimators in terms of efficiency and unbiasedness empirically.

In this paper, we consider the improved estimation of average production of peppermint at block level of Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh State (India). We suggest certain estimators for population-mean. Here, population refers to production population as study variable and auxiliary-variable refers to Area of field. We study the sampling properties naming bias and MSE of estimators, which are presently proposed by us in the paper. We compare our proposed estimators with other ones existing in literature. For the support of the theoretical findings, we carry out a numerical study for the natural population on primary data collected from Banikodar Block of Barabanki District situated in Uttar Pradesh State.

The research is proposed to test the influence of Leadership and Motivation Work on Public Service Quality. The population in this study was the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh who had received the last 1 year service at the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh, amounting to 260 people. Furthermore, by using the Slovin formula, a sample size of 158 people was chosen with a sampling technique based on Simple Random Sampling. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques used are path analysis and hypothesis testing using t test with data analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of the study based on showing that partially the Leadership and motivation work have a positive and significant effect on Public Service Quality. The results also show that motivation work variables act as intervening variables between Leadership and Public Service Quality.

Sustainable economic development does not occur without entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship is the practice of starting new organizations or revitalizing mature organizations. This study therefore is done to analyse the impact of innovation, technology and on the entrepreneurial development activities in Nigeria. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a total of 12 entrepreneurs from Lagos State that constituted our sample size. The primary data consists of a number of items in well- structured questionnaire that was administered to and completed by the respondents. Regression analysis was used to analyse the data. The results showed that there is significant relationship between technological innovation and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria. It is therefore recommended that government should create a friendly or an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and consumer goods to boost the Nigeria economy.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan : (1) mendeskripsikan saluran pemasaran setiap produk yang dihasilakan pengrajin anyaman purun dan (2) mengitung marjin pemasaran dan farmer’s share dari setiap produk yang dihasilkan pengrajin anyaman purun di Desa Tajung Atap Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan.  Waktu pelaksanaan praktik lapangan ini dilaksanaan pada bulan Januari 2018. Dara yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode pengumpulan data primer dan metode pengumpulan data sekunder.  Penarikan contoh di Desa Tanjung Atap Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dilakukan secara sederhana (Simple Random Sampling).  Pemasaran aneka kreasi anyaman purun di Desa Tanjung Atap terdapat dua pola saluran pemasaran. yaitu saluran pemasaran langsung yakni saluran pemasaran dari produsen ke konsumen tanpa menggunakan perantara. dan saluran pemasaran satu perantara yaitu menggunakan satu perantara pengecer dalam hal ini adalah pihak Universitas Sriwijaya Program Studi Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian dimana memang dari awal pembentukan kelompok pihak Unsri yang membantu membimbing para pengrajin sehingga aneka kreasi anyaman tikar purun mampu bersaing dipasaran. Dari setiap perhitungan marjin pemasaran dan farmer’s share untuk setiap produk yang dihasilkan dapat kita ketahui bahwasanya perbedaan harga ditingkat pengrajin dan konsumen rata-rata kurang lebih sebesar Rp 5.000/produk.   Kata Kunci : Aneka produk anyaman purun. Marketing of various wicker creations in the village of Tanjung Atap There was two patterns of marketing channels. namely direct marketing channels from marketing sales from producers to consumers without the use of booths. and marketing channels one thing was a single retailer in this case was the Sriwijaya University Economic Social Studies Program Agriculture where it was from the beginning of the formation of groups of Unsri who helped guide the craftsmen so that various creations mat woven purun able to compete in the market. Penelitian ini mengkaji kualitas pelayanan dengan menggunakan Model SERVQUAL dan IPA (Important Performance Analysis) pada Jurusan Tarbiyah STAIN Gajah Putih. Dimensi pelayanan yang digunakan yaitu : Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mixed Method dengan Model Sequential Explanatory, jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1576 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling menggunakan Rumus Slovin dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 94 mahasiswa. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat tiga atribut layanan yang mempunyai kategori yang harus mendapatkan perhatian khusus, sembilan atribut layanan yang berkategori layanan yang baik tetapi mempunyai tingkat prioritas yang rendah, sepuluh atribut layanan yang berkategori atribut layanan yang mempunyai harapan dan persepsi yang rendah serta empat atribut layanan yang mempunyai kategori kinerja yang baik  dan telah melampui harapan dari para mahasiswa. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Pelayanan, SERVQUAThis study examines the quality of service using the SERVQUAL and IPA Models (Important Performance Analysis) at the STAIN Gajah Putih Tarbiyah Department. The dimensions of the services used are: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. The research approach used was Mix Method with Model Sequential Explanatory, the number of population in this study amounted to 1576 students with sampling techniques using Simple Random Sampling using Slovin Formula with a total sample of 94 students. The data used are primary data using a Likert Scale. Based on the results of the study there are three service attributes that have special attention categories, nine service categories that are categorized as good but have a low priority level, ten service attribute categories that have low expectations and perceptions and four service attributes has a good performance category and has exceeded the expectations of the students.Keywords : Service Quality, SERVQUAL And IPA

Labour welfare is an umbrella term which includes overall well-being of the worker. Labour welfare facilities are classified by the International Labour Organization (ILO) into two types: intramural labour welfare facilities and extramural labour welfare facilities. In India, several labour legislations have been enacted to provide proper labour welfare facilities to the workers. Factories Act, 1948 is one of most important welfare-related labour legislations in which a number of labour welfare facilities are specified like washing facility, canteen facility, crèches room facility, labour welfare officer, sitting facility, and so on. In this particular study, the researcher chose descriptive research design; sample size of the study is 120 respondents, 60 respondents from each organization were selected by using simple random sampling technique. For data collection, both primary and secondary sources of data were used; as primary data collection, questionnaire method was used. Collected data were analysed in the form of tables and diagrams. Findings of the study are very interesting: some welfare facilities are good in public industry and some are good in private industry.

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, service quality, and perceived price and its implication towards student satisfaction in Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT). This research is quantitative in nature. Both primary and secondary data were obtained from various source such as journals. Primary data were gathered using questionnaire which were distributed to the target respondent. The population consists of active students from Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Economy actively studying in 2017 using a purposive sampling. Total sample of 100 students were obtained. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 23. The research found that the brand image, service quality and perceived price are affecting students satisfaction of Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. Researcher suggests UMT to improve their brand image, also to improve administration services and lecturer quality. In addition UMT shall adjust their tuition costing structure to win the competition in pricingPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Citra Merek, Kualitas Layanan dan Persepsi Harga Terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa di Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT). Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dan bersifat explanatory, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan kuesioner dan dokumen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dari fakultas teknik dan fakultas ekonomi yang aktif berkuliah pada tahun 2017. Metode pengambilan sample menggunakan metode probability sampling dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Penentuan ukuran sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 10% berjumlah 100 mahasiswa yang diambil sebagai responden. Data yang terkumpul dianalisa menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa Citra Merek, Kualitas Layanan dan Persepsi Harga secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa di UMT. Peneliti menyarankan UMT perlu meningkatkan citra merek, dan juga melakukan peningkatan di kualitas staf administrasi dan pengajar. Selain itu UMT perlu meninjau kembali biaya perkuliahan yang dikenakan ke mahasiswa agar dapat meningkatkan daya saing
