Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors of m-learning approaches which can be used for enterprise resource planning (ERP) system training and to propose a theoretical framework for m-learning of ERP systems. Design/methodology/approach – A literature review of several theories relating to success factors for mobile learning (m-learning) and electronic learning (e-learning) are analysed and a theoretical framework of success factors for m-learning of ERP systems is proposed. Two field studies are undertaken to identify the features of e-learning and m-learning systems which users enjoyed and which related to the factors identified in the theoretical framework. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to evaluate the acceptance, usefulness and perceived ease of use (PEOU) of the two systems evaluated in the field study, the openSAP e-learning application and the SAP Learn Now m-learning application. Findings – The results confirmed several of the theoretical elements identified in the framework and the m-learning system was rated positively for PEOU and perceived usefulness (PU). The findings confirmed other studies showing the importance of the quality of course content in e-learning and m-learning projects. Research limitations/implications – The empirical study was limited to a small number of participants in higher education. However, a deeper understanding of the factors influencing m-learning for ERP systems was obtained. Practical implications – The study provides a valuable practical contribution because the framework can be used in the improved design of an ERP m-learning approach, which in turn can lead to an improvement in ERP training and education programmes and ultimately ERP project success. Originality/value – Several studies propose the use of m-learning systems. However, research related to the factors impacting on m-learning projects for ERP system training is limited. The paper presents original work and the results provide a valuable contribution to several theories of m-learning.

Introduction. The modern system of domestic higher education is designed to flexibly respond to the challenges of the modern world, one of which is the possibility of obtaining knowledge through distance learning. The use of electronic services in this process, acting as an online and offline learning tool, actualizes the urgent need to develop in a digital environment a high-quality content of academic disciplines that meets the requirements of educational standards in various areas of training of future subject teachers, primary school teachers, preschool educational institution teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, defectologists. At the same time, it is important to assess all the risks that can devalue the physical, moral and material costs of organizing the educational process in the e-learning system from both teachers and support service specialists and the university as a whole.Materials and Methods. The paper uses a descriptive method based on the study and systematization of survey data of pedagogical university students of different directions and training profiles for several years. The respondents were full-time and part-time students. The data collection tool was the e-learning service of Minin University.Results. The analysis of respondents' answers to questions about the pros and cons of distance learning in the system of electronic information educational environment of the pedagogical university allowed us to draw some conclusions about the existence of both positive and negative consequences of the implementation of distance learning, which threaten the psychological safety of participants in the educational process.Discussion and Conclusions. Taking into account the fact that the creation of an e-learning system at Minin University is a large-scale project of modernization of the higher education system, during the implementation of which, since 2012, some experience has already been accumulated that requires reflection, today we can talk about the possibility of considering this electronic information educational environment as minimizing the risks of distance learning through electronic services. Further work in the direction of optimizing the work of the e-learning system of the pedagogical university, including working out the strategy of the "individual educational route" of each student, including assistance to students with special educational needs, should certainly be carried out from the position of involving students in assessing the opportunities and difficulties of working in an electronic educational environment.

E-learning is an educational media that use ICT in the learning process. Nowadays, most of the higher education (universities) in Indonesia have integrated the learning process with e-learning systems. By using this system, learning can be done outside the classroom, anytime and anywhere. Based on the literature reviews, e-learning has many positive impacts on higher education components and its ecosystems, i.e., students, lecturers, higher education staff, and campus officials. Although it offers many advantages, similar to the information technology in general, e-learning systems are also vulnerable to security issues. Because, several security holes in the system can be penetrated easily by hackers, where the essential data contained in e-learning has high potential to be spoofed even modified by irresponsible parties. The security aspect of the e-learning system must be considered to minimize risks. Thus, the higher education can run their business as well. This paper aims to elaborate on the e-Learning system, opportunities, challenges, and several offered solutions on it. The research method used in this paper is literature studies from the latest references

Due to the opportunities provided by the Internet, people are taking advantage of e-learning courses and during the last few years enormous research efforts have been dedicated to the development of e-learning systems. So far, many e-learning systems are proposed and used practically. However, in these systems the e-learningcompletion rate is low. One of the reasons is the low study desire and motivation. In our previous work, we implemented an e-learning system that is able to increase the learning efficiency by stimulating learners’ motivation. In this work, we designed and implemented new functionssuch as: interface changing function, new ranking function and learner’s learning situation checking function to improve the system performance.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, educational institutions were shut down all over the world, which impacted over 60% of students and caused a massive disruption of the education system. The goal of this paper was to identify the critical success factors for E-learning during COVID-19 using the multi-criteria Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) techniques to enhance the educational process. Data were generated by interviewing 69 E-learning managers in educational institutions during COVID-19 based on defined evaluation criteria and E-learning approaches through several channels. We found that technology management, support from management, increased student awareness to use E-learning systems, and demanding a high level of information technology from instructors, students, and universities were the most influential factors for E-learning during COVID-19. Among the five learning systems, blended learning was the most suitable learning system to practice. These results demonstrated that, regardless of how extraordinary the technology is in an educational institution, the readiness of E-learning execution played a large role in boosting the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many open source web based e-Learning systems are offered to support learning environment over the internet. Academic institutions usually choose to implement systems that meet the needs and characteristics of students. However, only little guide exists to support them in choosing systems that meet the implicit needs of students, thus adoption of e-Learning system is unsustainable. This paper reports an attempt to discover these implicit needs and how it correlates to the design of e-Learning systems by the adoption of Kansei Engineering. The objective is to analyze and choose the desired open source e-Learning system based on students’ implicit needs. Five open source e-Learning system were used as specimen in a Kansei evaluation procedure, employing one hundred subjects from the target user group. The result suggests that Kansei Engineering can be used to determine open source e-Learning systems that meets the implicit needs of targeted users, and thus enable sustainability of the system implementation.
