E-commerce has become a medium for online shopping which is growing and popular among the public. Due to the ease of access for all internet users and the completeness of the products offered, e-commerce has become a new alternative in meeting people's needs. Currently, the competition in the business world is very fierce, any e-commerce company needs to be able to carry out the right marketing strategy to compete in acquiring, retaining, and partnering with customers. In this research, the segmentation of e-commerce customers was carried out using the Fuzzy C-Means cluster and the RFM method. The clustering process is carried out six times with the number of clusters starts from two to seven clusters. The results showed that the optimum number of clusters formed according to the Xie-Beni validity index was four clusters. The cluster becomes customer segments that have the characteristics of each customer based on their recency, frequency, and monetary value. The best segment is segment 4 which has very loyal customers in shopping on tumbas.in e-commerce. From the segments that have been formed, they can be used as a consideration in implementing the right marketing strategy for each customer. Keywords : E-commerce, customer segmentation, Fuzzy C-Means Cluster, RFM, Xie-Beni Index

A well known issue with prototype-based clustering is the user’s obligation to know the right number of clusters in a dataset in advance or to determine it as a part of the data analysis process. There are different approaches to cope with this non-trivial problem. This chapter follows the approach to address this problem as an integrated part of the clustering process. An extension to repulsive fuzzy c-means clustering is proposed equipping non-Euclidean prototypes with repulsive properties. Experimental results are presented that demonstrate the feasibility of the authors’ technique.

Loyal customers are one of the factors that determine the development of a business. Therefore, businesses need a strategy to keep customers loyal, even making customers who were previously less loyal to become more loyal. The strategy used must be right on target according to customer segmentation. The purpose of this paper is to model a cluster of customer loyalty to help businesses in making the right decisions of marketing strategy. Segmentation is done using the k-means algorithm with LRIFMQ (length, recency, interval, frequency, monetary, quantity) as parameters, and the CLV (customer lifetime value) of each cluster is calculated. Data obtained from PT. XYZ (a company engaged in food processing) for one year (1 January 2019 - 31 December 2019), with 337.739 transactions, and 26.683 customers. AHP (analytical hierarchy process) method is used for LRIFMQ weighting because this method has a consistency index calculation. The silhouette coefficient is used to calculate the cluster quality and determine the optimal number of clusters. The best results are obtained with the silhouette coefficient value of 0,632904 with the number of clusters 6.

Trust is a key factor in online communication, a hosting that can be accessed quickly and almost never had an error would indicate that the hosting has managed seriously in serving consumers. Therefore a hosting requires regular maintenance and handling of error as soon as possible before consumers feel the effects. On the other side hosting providers need to protect their systems to provide access to others who don’t have the right and protect it using a firewall. Those two things became very difficult to do simultaneously considering the speed and ease of access contrary to the security of the hosting. There are many ways in which the administrators to handling this case. One of many ways is create a private network that can only be accessed from within the network, during time for treatments this private hosting use SMS as  medium, this media have been chosen because it can directly installed within the private network.By using this sms media, administrator can make application that can do the repair server directly without being worried with the danger of the public internet network, because application running on a private network. Applications can also be built more complex so that application will help administrator to monitor condition of the server and repair errors on the server, administrators can do it anywhere without being dependent on a stable internet connection.

Online social media is a new kind of media which is steadily growing and has become publicly popular. Due to its ability to spread informations rapidly and its easiness to access for internet users, social media provides new alternative to conduct advertising and product segmentation. Twitter is one of the most favored social media with 19.5 million users in Indonesia to the date. In this research, the application of text mining to cluster tweets from the @LazadaID Twitter account is done using the Modified Gustafson-Kessel clustering algorithm. The clustering process is executed five times with the number of cluster starts from two to six cluster. The results of this research indicate that the optimum number of clusters formed based on the Partition Coefficient and Classification Entropy validation index are three clusters. Those three clusters are tweets containing electronic stuff offers, discounts, and prize quizes. Tweets with the most retweets and likes are prize quiz tweets. PT Lazada Indonesia could use this kind of tweet to conduct advertising on social media Twitter because the prize quiz tweets are liked by the @LazadaID Twitter account followers. Keywords: Twitter, advertising, Lazada Indonesia, Gustafson-Kessel Clustering algorithm, validation index

Locating files in an exact time is considered one of the greatest problems and the tedious process in universities nowadays. This problem becomes greater when the university has a large number of departments and transactions, as well as the documents are moving from one department to another. Especially, developing countries that have many problems and unstable environment and that may lead to lost or damage the important documents that influence on the decision making. Furthermore, the traditional manner not only wasted the time and energy, but also the paper cost for printing copies of required file. And with the advancement of technology and the increase of Internet users, documents are still being sent in Iraqi universities manually between departments. Although the higher education and scientific research ministry was recommended the public universities for using modern technologies during the daily transactions between the departments or amongst the units.  Therefore, this study sought to design and evaluate the prototype system which tracks movements of the documents from one department to another as well as check the completion rate for each department. For providing opportunities to assess how well the use of e-file tracking system meets the needs of management units in universities. The systems implementation research notes the need to fit between tasks, technologies and users.  Thus, this empirical study utilized the task technology fit model for this purpose. The results from selected participants indicated that all the factors significant effect on the employee’s performance in E-file Tracking System, excepted, task characteristics. This study will be contributed to reduce the corruption and enhance the transparency and help the decision-makers make the right decision at the right time.

Nowadays, people are very facilitated by the existence of various shopping centers, including retail. Because many retailers are close to each other, Alfamart Lodadi must have a good marketing strategy. So far, the strategy used is sometimes inaccurate because it is not based on customer segmentation.  Therefore, the purpose of this research is to help retail owners to make decisions regarding the right marketing strategy with three methods so that Alfamart Lodadi can compete and increase sales. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is employed to find the priority variables of customer segmentation; meanwhile, the K-Means Clustering is used to group customers based on the similarity of predetermined characteristics. AR-MBA is used to find out the best rules, and products are rarely, sufficient, and frequently purchased.  The results of this research, based on AHP, obtained five segmentation priority variables based on the largest eigenvector values. There are income, age, expenditure, distance, and shopping intensity with each eigenvector value of 0.13; 0.16; 0.12; 0.12; 0.17. From clustering, there are three customer clusters with different strategies, including free shipping when shopping, product discounts for certain periods, and providing catalogs and discounts on each transaction and offer notifications. Then, this research also obtained three strategies based on AR-MBA. These include making a catalog by bringing frequently purchased products closer together, choosing a layout for shopping places by bringing frequently purchased products closer together, and making shopping coupons for rarely purchased products. With several strategic choices, companies can make decisions appropriately according to the desired criteria.
