Today, the business environment has become extremely dynamic due to rapid changes in information technology due to competition and the desire for efficiency. Designed to meet a wide range of economic requirements, new technologies offer flexibility, economies of scale, mobility and greater accuracy. The field of accounting is subject to this new era of change. The era of the Internet of Everything (IoE) is reshaping the profession of accountant according to the current needs of organizations. Artificial intelligence and process automation take on redundant and repetitive tasks performed by professionals, creating space for more complex activities such as analysis and business consulting. The article considers the main modern information technologies and the possibilities of their use in accounting. With the use of information technology, more opportunities have opened up in the field of accounting. The purpose of the article is to analyze the use of modern information technology in accounting, to study the features of their implementation and related risks for the company. Technological determinants of the development of the organization of accounting are: the spread of mobile communications; improving the provision of Internet access services; software development; conversion of smartphones, tablets into integrated devices, their active use in the workplace of accounting staff. The main advantages of such technologies as cloud computing platforms, big data, data mining and mobile technologies are identified. The main threats associated with the use of these technologies have also been identified. It is determined that new technologies, as well as the need for real-time reporting make changes in the profession of accountant. Novice accountants may lack the knowledge to efficiently obtain and process large amounts of data. This is due to the fact that the existing curricula of accounting faculties in Ukraine are not sufficiently focused on new technologies, such as cloud computing, Big Data or data mining. As a result, it can be difficult for accountants to secure confidential information using the latest technology.

Data collection, documentation and analysis of the traces of ancient ruins and archaeological sites represent an inestimable value to be handed down to future generations. Thanks to the development of new technologies in the field of computer graphics, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Reality (VR) and three-dimensional (3D) digital survey, this research proposes new levels of interactivity between users and virtual environments capable of communicating the tangible and intangible values of remains of ancient ruins. In this particular field of development, 3D drawing and digital modelling are based on the application of new Scan-to-HBIM-to-VR specifications capable of transforming simple points (point clouds) into mathematical models and digital information. Thanks to the direct application of novel grades of generation (GOG) and accuracy (GOA) it has been possible to go beyond the creation of complex models for heritage BIM (HBIM) and explore the creation of informative 3D representation composed by sub-elements (granular HBIM objects) characterized by a further level of knowledge. The value of measurement, 3D drawing and digital modelling have been investigated from the scientific point of view and oriented to the generation of a holistic model able to relate both with architects, engineers, and surveyors but also with archaeologists, restorers and virtual tourists.

Highlights:

The concept of ‘granular HBIM objects’ is introduced to show the unexpressed potential of the scan-to-BIM process for different types of data analyses and uses.

Sustainable development of VR projects for archaeological sites is proposed, allowing users to discover the hidden historical values with new levels of interactivity and information.

HBIM and VR projects have been improved through the integration of laser scanning, digital photogrammetry (terrestrial and UAV) and advanced modelling techniques.

The article deals with the structure of the modern information technology system used in the tourism industry. It is emphasized that the use of information technology in each separate segment of the tourism industry, such as hotels, ticket reservations, the creation of specialized tourist products, is interlinked with all others. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the using of modern information technologies in the tourism industry. It was established that the introduction of information technology in the tourism industry took place in four stages, from the creation of data, through the direct development of information technologies , the development of strategic information systems and the integration of individual IT components in a network of different levels, from local to global. It is revealed that the majority of tourist enterprises use both standard and special software in their activity. For tourism enterprises to carry out marketing activities successfully, the information market offers technologies aimed at the process of automating the accumulation of survey results, planning and developing a marketing strategy. One of the most important elements in the tourism industry is computer reservation systems, which eventually integrated into global booking systems. These systems provide not only transport services, but also hotel accommodation, cruise trips, location information, bus, rail and air connections, exchange rates, weather reports, etc., allowing one to reserve all major components of the tour. Tour operators use several classic approaches to building a reservation system. The features of the market of tourist services, the specific characteristics of the services themselves and the peculiarities of their perception by consumers determine the specifics of marketing in this area. The use of information technologies, in particular the Internet, enables businesspeople and marketers to explore new market opportunities for their travel services, to highlight and explore various market segments (geographic, demographic, professional, organizational, behavioural, etc.). Tracking relevant information can be used to predict the future development of consumer demand and identify new trends in the behaviour of existing and potential customers. The use of geoinformation systems opens up broad prospects for engineering justification and design of new tourist routes and recreational areas, the publication of thematic tourist maps and the creation of web atlases, etc. Thus, thanks to information technologies, a single tourist information space is created that allows all players in the tourist market to quickly receive real information.
