Abstract The Swedish poet, essayist and aphorist Vilhelm Ekelund wrote extensively on the topic of foreign authors. Some of these writers represent the Greek and Roman cultural heritage; some belong to the modern-day literary canon. This article investigates the nature of these “intercultural encounters” in Ekelund’s body of work. By processing data from Andar i den Ekelundska sfären (1989) and Konkordans till Vilhelm Ekelunds skrifter (2000), we have been able to count all references made to the most important individuals appearing in Ekelund’s texts. At the top end of the table we find such prominent writers as Goethe (1343 references), Nietzsche (985) and Plato (503 references). We show that Ekelund’s oeuvre is largely dominated by male authors and philosophers of Western cultural heritage: the most prominently figured foreign nationalities being German (20,7%), Greek (10,1%), French (9,2%) and Roman (5,4%) writers. The quantitative method applied in our study is a good complement to more textcentered approaches to literature. In this case, it allows us to determine, with a great deal of accuracy, the extent and nature of the intercultural encounters in Vilhelm Ekelund’s body of work.

Cultural heritage is an object or intangible attribute which is an identity of a society inherited from previous generations, which is preserved for generations to come. Cultural heritage contains not only an objects but also an intangible object such as languages, dialects, and rituals. One of Intangible culture is Sindang Beliti dialect which is from South Sumatera Province. Sindang Beliti dialect included in the Austronesian language used by Sindang tribes which is Lembak, Lembak delapan, and Muara Beliti. This study aimed to determine causal factors of sindang beliti dialect was shifted, and find out what were efforts to maintain the dialect. This study used quantitative-method which data collected by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents included people, linguists, and Musi Rawas district government. Theory used in this study are from Holmes (2001) and Fishman (1972). The results of this study indicated that there were 3 casual factors of sindang beliti dialect was shifted. They were social, demographic, and legal factors. There were also found 5 efforts to maintain sindang beliti dialect included holding regional song competitions in every anniversary celebration of Musi Rawas district, producing radio broadcasts used sindang beliti dialect, building a playground with the name taken from sindang beliti dialect which is "taman beregam", creating Instagram account used sindang beliti dialect in every posts, and using sindang beliti dialect in government slogan such as "payo ke hikak".

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p> </p><p>Batik Tutur merupakan hasil pengembangan dari motif batik <em>Afkomstig Uit Blitar 1902</em>, warisan budaya masyarakat blitar pada masa lampau yang dikoleksi museum belanda. Saat ini batik tutur memiliki 15 motif dengan berbagai macam nama sesuai motif dan makna, nama pada setiap motif mengandung pesan moral atau pitutur yang ingin disampaikan Eddy Dewa sebagai pencipta motif kepada pemakainya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu latar belakang penciptaan batik tutur karya Eddy Dewa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dan pengolahan data. Pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, sedangkan pengolahan datanya menggunakan interaksi analisis,hasil analiss dari penelitian ini yang didapat adalah batik tutur memiliki fungsi sebagai sarung dengan pola motif yang sama dengan pola sarung yang memiliki tumpal tengah, dan makna yang terkandung merupakan intepratasi Eddy Dewa dalam memaknai lingkungan sekitar.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>Revitalisasi, Batik<strong> </strong><em>Afkomstig Uit Blitar</em>, Batik Tutur.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p><p> </p><p><em>Batik Tutur is the result of the development of batik motif Afkomstig Uit Blitar 1902. It is the cultural heritage of Blitar community in the past which was collected by the Dutch museum. Currently, batik </em>tutur<em> has 15 motifs with various names according to the motives and meanings. The name of each motif contains a moral mes-sage or a message that Eddy Dewa wishes to convey as the creator of the motif to the consumers. The purpose of this study is to know the background of batik </em>tutur<em> creation by Eddy Dewa. The research used is qualitative research methods with data collection and data processing. Data collection includes observation, interviews, and literature study, while the data processing uses interaction analysis. The results of this re-search tells that batik </em>tutur<em> has a function as a sarong with the same motif pattern as a sarong pattern that has a middle tumpal. The meaning contained tells about Eddy Dewa’s interpretation in handling interpreting the surrounding environment.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>Revitalization, Batik Afkomstig Uit Blitar, Batik Tutur.</em></p>

Landak Regency is one of the areas in West Kalimantan that is rich in cultural heritage. Various forms of cultural heritage come from 2 large ethntic, it is Dayak and Malay ethnic. Nevertheless, all the wealth and cultural heritage has not been integrated and has a special container. From the potential and problems, it is necessary to hold a container that can shelter and accommodate all components of cultural activities in the landak regency. This refers to the Cultural Center of Landak Regency. The design method used in the design of the Cultural Center is a seven-step design method, which starts from the search for ideas, data collection, data processing, data analysis, determining concepts and deciding the design results. This method refers to an area-scale Cultural Center design whose all variants of activities will be sheltered by the composition of several building times implemented based on their functions and activities, this Cultural Center will be supported by the application of a sheath system that will be implemented through the typical patterns of culture of Landak Regency with the emphasis of the concept more to modern minimalist buildings but rich in cultural value.

The global phenomenon of popular music from the middle of the twentieth century on played a pivotal role in the merging of what was traditionally deemed high and low cultures. Performers of popular music of different genres started including direct references to literary works from the Anglo-American literary canon, one of the most famous examples being Kate Bush’s 1989 single “The Sensual World,” in which she originally intended to quote verbatim from Molly Bloom’s soliloquy Bloom in James Joyce’s Ulysses; however, since permission from the Joyce Estate was not granted, the song did get recorded, but with lyrics that Bush wrote herself, inspired by Molly Bloom’s words on the page.This paper analyses the way ideas from the original literary work get transposed and adapted in the lyrics of the popular song, giving credit to the musicians as not only innovative creators of a new work of art, but creators of an adapted work of art that can be intertextually read in the context of the artist’s cultural heritage.

The research of inequality budget level analysis in Indramayu Regency has been carried out in April 2019 until September 2020 This study aims to determine the level of budget and analyze the level of inequality in Juntinyuat, Indramayu Regency based on characteristics of Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) in 2017. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative method. Information and data are collected by primary and secondary data that obtained by questionnaire and from relevant agencies. Processing data used the Williamson Index analysis and the Klassen Typology. The results showed that the average budget per capita of the region in Indramayu Regency has reached Rp. 15.311.000, and the results of the Gini ratio analysist has been in the high level because it was higher than 0.5 and the results of the development analysis patterns in Indramayu Regency was in 4 quadrants. It was different in each district. Juntinyuat and Karangampel sub-districts are in I quadrant, Balongan sub-district as in II quadrant, Kedokanbunder sub-district as in III quadrant and Krangkeng sub-district as in IV quadrant.

Keselamatan para wisatawan adalah hal yang paling penting dalam mengelola kawasan wisata. Rip current merupakan bahaya yang signifikan bagi para pengunjung pantai dan telah memakan banyak korban di seluruh dunia. Riset ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan nilai bahaya Rip Current serta mengidentifikasi waktu yang aman untuk wisata di Pantai Pangandaran, Jawa Barat. Pelaksanaan riset berlangsung dari bulan Januari – Mei 2020. Metode riset yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Pengolahan data dan penilaian bahaya rip current berdasarkan Rip Current Hazard Assessment Guide (RNLI-UK). Parameter yang digunakan dalam riset ini adalah tinggi dan periode gelombang pecah, kecepatan jatuh sedimen, dan nilai tunggang pasut. Hasil riset menunjukan bahwa nilai bahaya rip current di Kawasan Wisata Pantai Barat Pangandaran, Jawa Barat sebesar 3 sampai dengan 4; yang dikategorikan ke dalam tingkat berbahaya sampai tingkat sangat berbahaya dengan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi adalah tinggi gelombang. Nilai bahaya rip current tertinggi (sangat berbahaya) berada di Bulan Juni hingga Oktober. Waktu yang dinilai relatif lebih aman untuk wisata berdasarkan hasil assesment nilai bahaya rip current adalah pada Bulan Januari, Februari, Maret, April, Mei, November serta Desember.The safety of tourists is the most important thing in tourism management. Rip current is a significant danger for beach visitors and has many casualties around the world. This research aims to get an index of Rip Current and identify the safety period for tourism in Pangandaran Beach. This research was conducted from January – May 2020. Methods of this research were using quantitative method. Processing data and getting an index for hazardous of Rip Current based on the Rip Current Hazard Assesment Guide (RNLI-UK). The parameters used in this research are height and period of the breaker wave, sediment fall velocity, and tide range. The result of this research are shown as an index of rip current’s hazardous 3 to 4; whereas 3 means hazardous and 4 as categorized very hazardous with the wave height as the most affecting factor. The safety periods for tourism based on the results of an index for hazardous occurs in January, February, March, April, May, November, and December.
