Abstract The aim of the studies was to ascertain how far psychology students are ready to learn the vocation of education assistants to children and youth. Four general ways of acquiring knowledge and skills - by assimilation, by doing, by discovering, and by impression - were distinguished and interpreted with regard to the students’ prospective employment in educational institutions. Learning by doing (model Beta) and by impression (model Delta) turned out to be more expressive in the student self-reports than learning by assimilation (model Alpha) and by discovering (model Gamma). A proof that the Nosal/Paluchowski typology of diagnosticians applies to psychology students was also in search. However, the pertinent Educational Diagnostician Inventory appeared satisfactorily valid only for those psychology sophomores who manifested the best-shaped attitudes towards educational diagnoses. They belonged mostly to concrete-objective (Proceduralist) and global-subjective (Intuitionist) attitude categories. Transactional analysis partly supported these findings of the survey.

ABSTRACKThe responsibility of education cannot be carried out unilaterally, it requires the cooperation of three components which Ki Hajar Dewantara calls the tricenter of education: family, educational institutions, and society. All three are a unified whole and complement each other. The involvement and role of parents and the community in guarding children's education in the era of globalization is very urgent. This journal aims to discuss the importance of the Three Education Centers as a solution to overcome juvenile delinquency which is increasing in this era of globalization. The writing of this journal uses library research methods, or often also called library research, collecting data from various literatures. The three educational centers both play an important role in the success of education, which basically all are interrelated and mutually cooperate with each other. The three of them must indirectly carry out close guidance in the educational process. The three links can be seen from: Parents carry out their obligations to educate children in the family, educational institutions facilitate teaching various knowledge and skills with full support from students' parents, and the community is expected to be a facilitator for students to be able to actualize their knowledge and skills. Keywords: Responsibility, Tricenter of Education, Juvenile delinquency, Puberty.

Education and culture are two inseparable components. Education provides the greatest contribution in the spread and preservation of culture from generation to generation, one of which is through formal educational institutions such as schools. In this view, education develops two main tasks, namely the task of increasing individual potential and preservation of cultural values. Humans as cultured creatures are essentially creators of culture itself. The culture then increases in line with the increased potential of the human creator of that culture. In accordance with the education standards stated in Law No. 2 of 1989 which states that education aims to educate the life of the nation and develop Indonesian people as a whole, people who have faith and are devoted to God Almighty and virtuous, have knowledge and skills, physical and spiritual health, a steady and independent personality and sense of responsibility social and national responsibility.Based on these educational objectives, it can be concluded that culture is one of the important components or elements that must be present in education, so education will be more meaningful and directed.

Dramatic and theatrical performances have a long history of being used as tools to enhance development in children and youth. In pre-colonial times there were some forms of drama and theatre used by different communities in the socialisation of children. It is in the same vein that this article, through the Intwasa koBulawayo performances, seeks to evaluate how drama and theatre are used to nurture children and youth into different developmental facets of their lives. The only difference which this article will take into cognisance is that the performances are done in a different environment, which is not the one used in the pre-colonial times. Although these performances were like this, the most important factor is the idea that children and youth are socialised through these performances. It is also against this backdrop that children and youth are growing up in a globalised environment, hence the performances should accommodate people from all walks of life and teach them relevant issues pertaining to life as they live it now. Thus the main task of the article is to spell out the role of drama and theatre in the nurturing of children and youth through socio economic and political development in Intwasa koBulawayo festivals.
