Because of the natural laws of the chain «soil–plant–animal» trace element status of pigs in the conditions of industrial technology of cultivation depends on the quantity and value of various macro– and microelements in feed, which is the result of absorption from the soil. Among feed factors, one of the limiting micronutrient is iodine. We, in terms of Farm «Amila» Turiysk district, Volyn region, investigated levels of iodine in the grain group of plants (barley, triticale, oats, rye), which is used to feed pigs as fullcomponent feed, depending on the accumulation of trace elements in the soil. It was established that the average iodine content in sod–podzolic soils (36% of all arable land) farms located within 7.48 ± 0.46 mg/kg, clay and sand 5.6 ± 0.38 mg/kg and gley–sandy – 5.96 ± 0.67 mg/kg. Thus, the study of grain grown on these lands have shown that the level of iodine in them was low and ranged from 49 to 77 mg/kg. Given the data provided to us agrochemical analysis of soil (the humus, pH, exchange nitrogen, mobile forms of manganese, zinc, copper, iron, cobalt, boron and sulfur), it was found that the pH of the soil on the farm was, on average, at 6.1 – 7.5 humus content – 2% – 3%, nitrogen – 48 – 72 mg/kg. In the majority of areas in the studied soils found very high boron content (> 0.7 mg/kg) and very low concentration of copper (<0.11 mg/kg) and iron (<0.08 mg/kg). Amid moderate soil providing mobile forms of the investigated macro– and microelements (N, Mn, Zn, S) detected an imbalance in the concentration of B, Cu, Fe, is likely to affect the concentration of iodine in soil fixing its potential, which in turn depends on ability to maintain atomic iodine and facilitate its absorption. It is possible that the rate of absorption of iodine from the soil under these conditions is also insufficient. Taking into account the available information on the specific components of iodine in the diet to ensure the body metabolism pigs must decide on the further introduction of easily accessible iodine–containing drugs.

Studies of the effect of litter chicken manure applied in doses of 500-1000 t/ha showed a significant increase in the humus content in soils up to 2.8-5.2%, led to an increase in the content of thermophilic microflora in soils up to 12 · 105 CFU/ g, to an increase in the content of mobile phosphates up to 1200 mg/kg. However, the content of mobile forms of heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni) also increased. The increase in humus content in soils positively correlated with the content of mobile phosphates (r up to 0.5). The influence of chicken manure compost with sawdust in doses from 100 to 1000 t/ha on soil properties was studied on the sod-podzolic soils where the poultry farms of the Moscow region are located. An increase in pH, the humus content, the content of water-soluble forms of NPK in soils and an increase in the complexing capacity of soils were found. The authors define the correlation of the content of mobile forms of heavy metals in the sod-podzolic soils fertilized with poultry droppings with soil pH, the content of humus and mobile phosphates in them. The permissible doses of manure introduced into the soil as fertilizer are determined by the combination of properties, processes and soil regimes, relief, groundwater level, and hydrothermal conditions of the territory. The introduction of droppings into soils contaminated with heavy metals increased their mobility due to complex formation. A positive effect of the use of humates from chicken droppings on the bioproductivity of plants is defined. The article considers the necessity of controlling the quality of the water and air environment when regulating the composition and doses of application of chicken manure compost.

The influence of litter manure and straw as fertilizers in pure form and in combination with manure, green manure and mineral fertilizers on the content of humus and basic nutrients in sod-podzolic soil has been studied. A significant effect on the change of humus content on sod-podzolic soils depending on fertilizer systems has been established. The highest indicators of humus content in the soil were found in the variants with 40 t/ha of manure, 0.97–1.14% and 1.17–1.23%, respectively, and straw 4 t/ha in combination with lupine green manure — 0.94–1.15% and 1.16–1.25%. The most significant increase in humus content per rotation was observed in sidereal crop rotation, against the background without fertilizers the indicator increased by 0.05–0.29%, against the background of N40P40K120 application — by 0.03–0.21%, in crop rotation — 0.05–0.19% and 0.01-0.09%, respectively. Analyzing the dynamics of the content of easily hydrolyzed nitrogen, it was found that the greatest growth both at the beginning and at the end of crop rotation provided options with the introduction of 40 t/ha of manure (+69…+85 mg/kg of soil), 4 t/ha of straw with half dose of manure (+63…+82 mg/kg of soil) and straw with green manure (+71…+80 mg/kg of soil). The application of manure, straw and plowing of green manures contributed to the increase of the content of mobile phosphorus compounds from 9 to 69 mg/kg of soil on the background without fertilizers and 38 to 67 mg/kg of soil on the background N40P40K120. The combination of straw with manure and straw with green manure for the application of mineral fertilizers helped to increase the content of mobile phosphorus compounds to the level recorded in the variant for the application of 40 t/ha of manure, and in some versions of the experiment even exceed it. It was found that the deficit-free and positive balance of potassium for rotation of crop rotation and sidereal crop rotation was provided by variants with 4 t/ha of straw in combination with 20 t/ha of manure and 4 t/ha of straw in combination with lupine green manure against N40P40K120. Balances and productivity of arable land use in short-rotation crop rotations of Polissya are calculated. In crop rotation, the humus balance is negative for the alienation of lupine green mass for fodder. Variants with application of 10 t / ha of crop rotation area of manure (–0.03 t/ha) and 1 t/ha of straw with half dose of manure (–0.1 t/ha) on the background of N35P35K85 application allowed to get as close as possible to the deficit-free balance of humus. In sidereal crop rotation, a positive balance of humus is observed with the application of 10 t/ha of manure (+0.21…+0.29 t/ha), 1 t/ha of straw in combination with 5 t/ha of manure, 22 t/ha) and 1 t/ha of straw in combination with green manure (+0.09… +0.18 t/ha). Close to the deficit-free balance of humus is the option with the introduction of 1 t/ha of straw in its pure form. An alternative to manure in Polissya should be the use of straw in combination with green manure (including lupine), which will help preserve and reproduce the humus content in the soil, improve the balance of nutrients and increase the productivity of arable land in crop rotations.

In OOO “Dubovitskoe” which was organized in 2006 as investment project of the AO “Shchelkovo Agrokhim” for 2010 – 2012 three advanced crop rotations have been developed. Before their introduction the grain crops fraction in the cropping system was 62%, then it fell to 49%. At the same time the portion of raw crops increased from 15 to 20%, legumes from 6 to 8%, others (buckwheat, grain maize, etc.) - up to 23%. As of 2017, the crops of leguminous crops have increased noteworthily. There are two predominant soil types here heavy clay loam podzolized chernozem (6615 ha) and grey forest soil (856 ha). Weighted average indicators (as of 2017): humus content in the soils of arable land is 5, 34%; acidity pH is 4.92; labile phosphorus - 111.8 mg / kg soil; exchange potassium - 144 mg / kg soil. The coefficient of the soil fertility in the enterprise (weighted average) is 0.66. This means that maintaining and increasing the soil fertility for arable land of the enterprise is critical task. As a result of the research, it has been established that the technologies introduced in the crop vegetation management (CVS) in the crop rotation conditions ensure high productivity of cultivated crops and stability of humus content in soils as an energy basis and a guarantor of increasing fertility. The indicators of the labile phosphorus Р205 and exchange potassium К20 in the soils depending on the crop rotation vary from a certain decrease to expressed steady growth. Therefore it is necessary to specify seeding rates based on actual data. Sustainable soil acidification in the crop rotations under crop cultivation in OOO “Dubovitskoe” it is the result of the acid feterlizers high rates application, during studying period did not carried out required agromelioration with calcium contenting elements.

The changes of the soil’s humus soil within the rural areas are investigated for the organic farming system. The most significant impact of organic agriculture on humus content over 55% was observed on soddy podzolic soils (V>75%), the lowest –7,5% on typical chernozem (V≈16%). Changes in the qualitative composition of humus for the introduction of various types of organic substrates are analyzed.

Lying is an important behavior of dairy cattle. Cows should spend more than 50% of a day lying as it has a high impact on their milk yield and animal welfare. The design, size, and flooring properties of the free stalls influence the time cows spend lying, the way they lie down, and their rising movements. The purpose of this review is to provide an overview of the currently available information with the aim to assist farmers and advisors to come to an optimal design of the free stalls. The design of the free stalls should enable the cows to move and lie in positions as natural as possible. Cows should rest, with all parts of the body, on a clean, dry and soft bed, be able to stretch their front legs forward, lie on their sides with unobstructed space for their neck and head, and rest with their heads against their flanks without hindrance from a partition. When they stand, they should not be hindered by neck rails, partitions, or supports. A comfortable place for cows to lie down helps cows to stay healthy, improve welfare, and increase milk yield. Hence, the probability of a longer productive life for the cows increases and the number of replacements per year decreases.

Cannabis is a complex plant, with major compounds such as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol, which have opposing effects. The discovery of its compounds has led to the further discovery of an important neurotransmitter system called the endocannabinoid system. This system is widely distributed in the brain and in the body, and is considered to be responsible for numerous significant functions. There has been a recent and consistent worldwide increase in cannabis potency, with increasing associated health concerns. A number of epidemiological research projects have shown links between dose-related cannabis use and an increased risk of development of an enduring psychotic illness. However, it is also known that not everyone who uses cannabis is affected adversely in the same way. What makes someone more susceptible to its negative effects is not yet known, however there are some emerging vulnerability factors, ranging from certain genes to personality characteristics. In this article we first provide an overview of the biochemical basis of cannabis research by examining the different effects of the two main compounds of the plant and the endocannabinoid system, and then go on to review available information on the possible factors explaining variation of its effects upon different individuals.

HAp (Hydroxyapatite) and α-TCP (alpha tribasic calcium phosphate) are non-toxic to human cells and, thus, have been studied for applications as biomaterials. HAp is a bioactive material that is not readily absorbed by the body; it offers both high strength and better tissueadhesive properties than α-TCP. In contrast, α-TCP is highly bioabsorbable; it is quickly absorbed by the body, and, therefore, for example, disappears before bone is completely replaced. If porous beads could be fabricated that would take advantage of the useful properties of α-TCP and HAp, they could be used as excellent scaffolds for cultivating cells. In the present study, ceramic beads with α-TCP at the center were fabricated and coated with a functionally graded film of HAp. A scaffold based on this configuration would be expected to have the following characteristics: good cell adhesion; strong beads; and a rate of absorption into the body that would be easy to control. In addition, to accelerate the formation of porous structure, some acid solutions were used to dissolve the beads surface layer and to penetrate pores toward inside of the bead. HAp formation through hydrolytic reaction seemed to be promoted by these acid solutions.

Electron microscopy of the cells of the characean alga Nitella flexilis revealed the presence of numerous spherical inclusions which morphologically resemble plant microbodies. The structures have a dense granular matrix and are bounded by a single membrane. Many of the microbodies contain very electron-dense nucleoids that were shown to be alpha-amylase sensitive. In cells of the young apex, microbodies are the most abundant cellular organelle and are intimately associated with dilated cisternae of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi complexes, and with large osmiophilic lipid bodies. Although the microbody population appears reduced in mature branchlet cells and internode cells of the main axis, they exhibit a characteristic and frequent association with the chloroplasts. Turnover of microbodies involves some autolytic degradation of the body matrix until complete digestion presumably occurs. Developmental changes of microbodies were monitored with the cytochemical localization of lysosomal aryl sulfatase and acid phosphatase activities. The current study is of interest since catalase, an enzyme marker of microbodies in a variety of tissues, could not be detected using both cytochemical and enzyme assay methods. The functional role of microbodies in Nitella cells is explored in relation to presently available information.
