Da'wah can be done with various strategies according to the state of mad'u. Management in the organization is structured in such a way that da'wah activities run well and according to purpose. The Qur'an Tafsir Council (MTA) is one of the da'wah institutions that carry out its da'wah with various methods, one of which is through television media among other da'wah media. MTA TV presents various da'wah programs in accordance with the vision of the MTA institution. The purpose of this study is to see how the MTA propaganda strategy through television is also side by side with other media. The author uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The findings of this study indicate that MTA through MTA TV can carry out their da'wah effectively because they are able to reach a wider audience. MTA TV is also able to adapt to the times so that this channel can survive, in addition to utilizing social networks that are in great demand by the public. However, on the other hand, the audience of listeners is still limited among Muslims who are members of this da'wah institution and the variety of programs is not so diverse.

Pancasila as ideology contains many teachings about how human should relate to the others, nature and God in the life of society and the state. Pancasila’s teachings believed truth and goodness by Indonesian peoples since been justified through a variety of scientific-philosophical studies. This is the meaning of Pancasila as a orthodoxy. On the other hand, the process of modernization spur the development of science and technology and phenomenon of globalization so that dynamics and changes in society take place quickly. In the context of practical guideline, the implementation of Pancasila should adapt to the development of national and international community. The breakdown of Pancasila’s values should be reconstructed continuously order to always stay relevant as problem solver and able to keep up with the the times. Revitalization and reinterpretation of Pancasila as a ideology should always be done in order to not become obsolete so abandoned by its adherents.

Code-Mixing often occurs in a place where there are various ethnicities, tribes, languages, and various cultures. One of them is at the State Polytechnic of Bali. This study aims to describe the form of code-mixing that appears in the interactions of Students Extracurricular Unit of Japan called UKM Jepang members of the State Polytechnic of Bali and explain the motives for using code-mixing in the interactions. The data used in this study is the result of the interaction of students who are members of the UKM Jepang, State Polytechnic of Bali, indicated to cause Code-Mixing both offline and online. Furthermore, the research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the type of research being descriptive research. The results showed that the form of Code-Mixing that occurred in students of Japanese UKM members of the State Polytechnic of Bali occurred in mixing nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. The motives that cause the emergence of code-mixing include the consideration of the interlocutor, namely members of UKM Jepang who both understand Japanese vocabulary. Besides, some special terms in Japanese are considered more appropriate to be conveyed by students on certain topics related to Japan, and they deliberately mix the code to make the conversation more interesting. On the other hand, Some Japanese vocabulary has no meaning that can be spoken in conversation in Indonesian, which causes students to use the term and become a new 'vocabulary' in Indonesian. They accidentally did lexical borrowing to meet the language barrier and cause code-mixing.

The study of e-cigarettes (vape) associated with excise is quite difficult to find in Indonesia. Thus, this study becomes important for the government in evaluating the application of vape liquid excise tax rules to make it fairer for businesses. By using a qualitative descriptive research method, this study obtained the findings that in the working area of KPPBC Type Madya Cukai Malang, the implementation of new regulations related to vape had increased the tobacco excise tax revenue by <1% of the total tobacco excise revenue in the Malang region. In Malang, the contribution of excise revenue from vape liquid is still relatively small to the overall excise tax revenue from tobacco products considering the quantity that is still not massive because it is a new product subject to excise. Although the socialization efforts related to this matter can be said to be successful, it is still needed a mechanism for channeling information for example through social networks so that the latest policies and regulations that are implemented can be implemented more effectively.

This article is centred on the diverse modes of articulation between Tambor de Mina – the African-Brazilian religion prevalent among the Black population of São Luís (the state capital of Maranhão, Brazil) – and Holy Ghost feasts – a Catholic feast that is the most important public celebration in Tambor de Mina cult houses. My focus is on the creative processes associated with these diverse modes of articulation. I argue that these processes are connected, on one hand, to the wider politics of boundary management between religious genres that each cult house adopts and, on the other hand, to different politics of display and containment centred on the visibility of Tambor de Mina in the public space. The article is both a contribution to recent anthropological debates on creativity and to discussions on processes of interface between different religious genres in African-Brazilian religions.

In accepting an invitation to speak in this symposium all the speakers today are exposing themselves to great hazards, and none more so than me. The capabilities of computers, their variety, the associated instrumentation, are all expanding so rapidly and changes are taking place with such a frequency that we are all inevitably out of date. The mere fact of having to prepare an abstract in March for a meeting in August presents hazards. Who knows what revolution in the state of the art will be announced in the meantime? My own project was started four or five years ago so that we may be considerably behind the times. As time went along we were able to take advantage of some of the new developments in technology but in many cases we were simply too far along to make adjustments. As a result, if one were to ask whether our project should serve as a model or whether we would do it the same way again, the answer would have to be “no.” On the other hand, some of the features are good and may serve as examples for future projects. The reader will have to decide.

Kant intends to present a Foundation of the state of right based on the reconstruction of Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s thought. Like the Genevanese philosopher who presents an empirical explanation based on the evolutionary anthropology, and a rational Foundation, based on the political and juridical philosophy, Kant also imagines two ways to fundament the state of right. In his empirical explanation, along with the anthropology, he introduces the history philosophy, which considers that the unsociable sociability makes the humankind leave its state of nature and establish, by means of an usurper, the civil state, in which it gradually approaches the republican constitution and, later, the States Federation and the cosmopolitan right; the rational Foundation, on the other hand, shows how the original contract indirectly determines the Foundation of the civil state, to the extent that only through it is it possible to establish the presumption of the right to the private property that will just turn effective in the civil state itself, although the public right directly postulates the state fundament, which is obtained analytically from the principle of the right in opposition to the concept of violence.

The mosque is a significant element in Islamic architecture that primarily constructs the presence and doctrine of Islam. On the other hand, it has a substantial role in developing Islamic civilization from time to time. It was able to convey and preach the teachings of Islam from the Qur'an through the parts of the building. One of the mosques that represent these criteria is the Sumenep Jamik Mosque. This paper aims to explore Quranic values in the architecture of the Jamik Mosque. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The author describes empirical data related to the architecture of the Jamik Mosque. The approach used in this study is historical-philosophical. The research indicates that the Jamik Mosque construction was adopted and inspired by the values of the Qur'an. Empirical facts about aspects of the Qur'an in the architecture of the Jamik Mosque can be found in the building parts, including; mosque building, mihrab, calligraphy as mosque decoration, the grandeur of the gate (gapura), garden, overlapping roof, tower, pillar, place of ablution, and pavilion (pendopo). Based on this phenomenon, it can be concluded that the architecture displayed by the Jamik Mosque is inseparable from the values of the Quran and Islamic ideological doctrines.

The search for new land for agribusiness to expand remains in Brazil, and Amapá state has recently become one of the new frontiers of the country. As in other geographical spaces engaged with agribusiness, Amapá also has its uniqueness, represented by the fact of being a state with reduced agricultural tradition, great participation of the public sector in the economy, and high percentage of its land transformed into specially protected spaces. On the other hand, it presents an area with savanna vegetation (the Brazilian Cerrado) that has been little explored, cheap land, and a strategic geographical location. This article analyzes the process of introducing agribusiness in the state, highlighting the limitations to its development and the potentials capable of transforming the productive sector of the state.
