A brand can turn a geographical location into a landmark and influences the tourist planification of a city. Although the world tourist sector recognizes Malaga as The Coast of Sun, this analysis also reveals several more elements, which should be substantiated if a rebranding is carried out. If the brand is well managed, the residents’ perspective must be taken into account. Avoiding the seasonality and keeping the destination in the future will allow the sustainable development of the tourism in the city of Malaga. In order to achieve the goals set in this research, a descriptive methodology has been used. This study has been carried out using a questionnaire in which 1230 residents have participated. Indeed, the results show that Malaga brand is being built under the concept of culture and that some attributes are vital for the territory’s image. Low-carbon economy is a new path which our country is taking to develop economy. As one of the provinces in the southeast coast of China, Fujian develop a low-carbon economy directly relating to the transformation of its economic growth, conservation of energy, improvement of productivity, innovation of technology and so on. We can say that the development of low-carbon economy directly affects the sustainable development of economy and society in Fujian province of China. Therefore, firstly, we believe that government and enterprise should optimize the allocation of resource and improve the utilization of resource. Secondly, the tax policies are supposed to adjust to stimulate the development of environmental protection industry. Thirdly, government should accelerate the construction of infrastructures. Fourthly, the legal system needs to be built and perfected so as to promote the development of low-carbon economy. At last, the investment of techniques is supposed to increase to a certain degree, and the ability of innovation and management of enterprises should be promoted to adapt the development of low-carbon economy of Fujian province.

In the paper importance is given to the organization of the supply chain for a more efficient delivery of goods to city centers. Logistics activities are closely related because they depend on each other. The ultimate goal is to bring the product/goods to the end customer/consumer as soon as possible, on time, at the lowest cost, in perfect condition and in the appropriate quantity. The mutual coordination and cooperation of all participants in the supply chain can result in a satisfied end-user/customer. The development of information – telecommunication technologies – will greatly affect the future development and efficiency of the supply chain by finding new transport solutions that would mostly affect city centers. The paper mostly emphasizes the context of the delivery conditions in Rijeka’s city center with a proposal for the location of a future centralized distribution center.

The sustainable development of environmental protection is a newly created philosophy. It means continuous development of better protection of the air, soil, water and resources, used from the industry, to be saved also for future generations. The globalization of the economy is another process, which interferes with environmental ideas, and an equilibrium with the socio-eco-sustainable development is wanted. The industry is subjected to big changes depending on economic development. Thus the treatment plants at the end of the pipe must be constructed with maximum flexibility. A removal of constructed devices, if not necessary, must be considered from the beginning as a possibility. Priority is given to integrated production processes solving wastewater problems directly by production devices. The treatment of the process wastewater streams separately will become more important. The end of the pipe solutions will be less complicated and more reliable. The reuse of valuable waste substances and treated water will reduce the total cost of the treatment plants substantially.

Despite the ‘immense’ water resources available, Nepal has not been able to transform this abundance of water resources into desired economic growth and societal welfare. This paper attempts to analyze the reasons for such incessant challenges that loom over water resources development in Nepal. This paper finds that it is not the resource that limits the development of water resources, but the approaches and wishes that are framed on the foundation of persistent myths. Analyzing those myths, this paper highlights the realities in water resources management of Nepal, and suggests that without dismantling the existing myths, the sustainable development of water resources seems limited.HYDRO Nepal JournalJournal of Water, Energy and Environment Issue: 23Year: 2018

ABSTRACT: The present article is a theoretical discussion based on authors who analyze current political-pedagogical trends of the Environmental Education. The discussion is substantiated on the idea of the modern society's environmental crisis and the understanding of the concept associated with the "Sustainable Development" term, representing a predominant pragmatic macrotendency in the Environmental Educational field. The article discusses the aspects of each Environmental Education tendency and the challenges of the pragmatism opposed to the Emancipatory Environmental Education idea, taking as a phisophical and as an epistemological reference the Critical Theory. In general, the pragmatism is presented as an educational problem and consequently an Environmental Educational issue. The appreciation of pragmatism compared to the devaluation of the acts reasoned on the assumptions of the critical thinking is one of the problems of the hegemonic strand of the Environmental Education. Although there is some growth of the critical strand of the Environmental Education, the central position in this field, currently occupied by the pragmactic tendency, imposes on us an Evironmental Education incapable of fulfilling its emancipatory potencial for being supported by practices that are not oriented towards the transformation of the current social relations. Keywords: Environmental education; Pragmatism; Critical theory; Emancipation.

The Sustainable Development Strategy implies a targeted long-term process that affects economic, social, environmental and institutional aspects of life. The goal is to meet the social and economic interests of citizens, reduce poverty, reduce unemployment and gender inequalities and reduce negative impacts on natural resources and the environment, resulting in long-term economic growth with economic efficiency, technology and innovation. Accordingly, in 2015, the United Nations adopted Resolution A / RES / 70/1 - Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, based on three dimensions of sustainable development: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection. At the end of the 20th century, parallel with the theory of development, which turned into the concept of sustainable development, there was globalization that integrated the entire world regions in order to gain as strong economic and financial positions as possible on the world stage. Today, Serbia is not in a position to choose whether to engage in modern globalization processes, but it must continue the initiated transitional reforms and accession to the European Union, regardless of the economic, political or environmental consequences. By implementing national policies, Serbia should aim at national and economic sovereignty, which will further influence sustainable development. Only by changing the current economic policy, by creating a national strategy based on the exploitation of domestic economic and industrial potentials, by reducing unemployment, social responsibility and individual freedom, economic growth and sustainable development can be achieved. This work, besides the introduction, consists of materials based on the presentation of the sustainable development strategy of the Republic of Serbia and also presents the results and discussion that draft the current situation with possible solutions to achieve sustainable development in the future. Finally, the final ratifications are provided.
