The evaluation of property is one of the basic human professions that have accompanied the human race ever since money was first used. At the time of the formation of modern science, this discipline was not included among the economic sciences. The stipulation of the value of property was based not only on theoretical knowledge of the economics, knowledge of goods, technology, agriculture and law, but also practical skills, knowledge of markets and the art of correctly assessing the requirements of customers. This situation continued until the end of the last millennium, when the evaluation of property stood apart from official science and was presented as an activity that links science and art and for this reason it was not possible to include it among the scientific disciplines. There is given analysis of value and valuation of property. On the base of philosophical approach to value and process of valuation, it can be stated that Valuation is a science in terms which in modern science have meaning. This would enable surveyors to participate also in the promotion of their profession on the academic floor and thus have more influence on the general opinion of value and its influence on contemporary society.

The Marxists had it right all along, they just got tripped up by their materialism. Early modern capitalism opened vast new worlds, particularly in the arts and sciences, only the traffic went both ways. Creative agents invented new markets and pushed commerce in directions that favored enterprises immensely cosmopolitan and innovative, often solely for the sake of beauty and display. Commerce offered a context but the nobility, and not an imagined bourgeoisie, had the edge when it came to exploiting the market for objets. Paintings could be traded for property, land, and houses. Princes could sponsor natural philosophers, and the fluidity in values meant that good investors, like good practitioners of the arts and sciences, took an interest in all aspects of learning. The interrelatedness of the representational arts and natural philosophy stands as one of the central themes in this tightly integrated collection of essays. We now have a vast historiography telling us that we should no longer teach early modern science without reference to the art of the time, and vice-versa. The point is beautifully illustrated by an exhibition recently held at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles (spring 2002) on the art of Pieter Saenredam. Working in Utrecht in the 1630s, he used geometry to regularize and make precise the angles and corners found in the exquisite paintings he made of the city's churches. He knew as much about geometry as he did about chiaroscuro. At precisely the same moment, an hour or two away by barge, Descartes in Leiden put the final touches on his Discourse on Method (1637). In effect he explained to the world why precision and clarity of thought made possible the kind of beauty that Saenredam's paintings would come to embody.

The objective of this chapter is to help solve a classic stochastic problem using tools of the graphic environment. Stochastic processes are associated with the concepts of uncertainty or chance. They are a major focus of studies in various scientific disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, finance, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and philosophy. Visual Arts also depend on elements of uncertainly and chance. To explore the commonality of concern between Science and Art and better understand stochastic processes, the authors use a graph theory reference model called the “shortest route problem” and add additional elements specific to the art-making process to highlight the relevance of interdisciplinary studies in the field of randomness and visual perception.

SUMMARYSuicide is a complex issue that is sparking increasingly more debate in contemporary society. There is need for an open discussion on the concept of rational suicide, specifically in relation to psychiatric disorders, so as to resolve the conflict between the duty of care of psychiatrists and the autonomy of patients. To be able to conduct such a discussion in an objective manner, we must first be made aware of the potential prejudices that we harbour on the topic of suicide as a result of our societal and historical background. A historical and philosophical approach to the topic, through careful examination of the topic of suicide in the texts of Plato, helps create such an awareness.

In this article, Professor André considers the nature of legal rules, their methods of creation and their interpretation and application. The role of modern narrative theory in answering these perennial questions is explored and two conclusions are reached: first, the classic explanations of legitimacy that underpin reasoning in the social sciences are increasingly losing ground; and, secondly, contemporary literary accounts based on the reasons for this loss of ground provide a strong challenge to narratives of coherence that are closely linked to Western culture. The existing model of knowledge does not correspond to the reality of contemporary society; the rules and principles that even today are still regarded as universal are seen by a large fraction of the human race as relative and cultural. Insights from narrative theory show that the perennial law questions must now be revisited with a new perspective.

The following reflections are born from some practical and theoretical trajectories undertook by the writer – already since a few years in my research scope – around philosophy for children/community and philosophical practices. The experience of some activities proposed at the Liceo Vasco/Beccaria/Govone in Mondovì during the Cespec Summer School 2017 around the issue of Humanitas in the contemporary society was recently added to these reflections. It is a theme that engaged us in several experiences of Philosophy for Community. Throughout these gatherings, we proposed a cartographic writing and philosophical approach. In particular, this contribution will explore the concept of children cartography (cartografia d’infanzia), as an occasion of translating the philosophical discourse into a map of a philosophical debate, also mutuating the concept of philosophical confluence considered by Pierpaolo Casarin. The adopted perspective is the transdisciplinary border where human geography, philosophy, and writing, as disciplinary subjects, can confound their identities and boundaries in a space of immanence in the making. Summarizing, we intend to highlight the themes, concepts, and practical propositions around some practical and theoretical research trajectories, current and future, which hold implications for all of us (and for humanity). Such practices allow again – and still – the possibility of orienting and losing oneself thanks to the Humanitas.

The processes taking place in modern science tend to integrate various scientific disciplines in studying any scientific phenomenon. This explains the search of methodology based on the techniques of different sciences involved in formation of the subject of research, which in this article is represented by the digital music art. Interpreted as a branch of music art with digital specificity, digital music art incorporates electronic music presented by specific, algorithmic, and electronic music. A signature characteristic of digital music art consists in its interdisciplinarity, which suggests the combined effect of separate parts of the system and leads to self-organization, which corresponds with the scientific tasks of synergetics. This substantiates the relevance for elaboration of interdisciplinary methodology for studying digital music art in the context of research mechanisms developed within synergetics. The scientific lies in the analysis of digital art through the prism of the qualities inherent to synergetics. The disciplines united by digital art (mathematics, set theory, probability theory, information theory, combinatorics, game theory, cybernetics, computer science, acoustics, sociology, communication, and biology) are interdisciplinary, which means that in ensemble with other disciplines they form a complex interdisciplinary knowledge of structure of digital music art. At the same time, the disciplines that comprise scientific framework of digital music art are attributed to different sciences: humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and technical sciences. In this context, the research of digital music art is simultaneously of interdisciplinary and multiscientific nature. The author established a peculiar impact of interdisciplinarity upon digital art, which generates the qualities inherent to synergetics – nonlinearity, disequilibrium, openness, chaotic nature, entropy, indeterminacy, and dissipation.

This article discusses one of the most important scientific disciplines in the Ulum al-Qurān namely i'jāz al-Qurān. Al-Qurān the book of Allah SWT which is the greatest and eternal miracle to the prophet Muhammad SAW. al-Qurān is the light of rabbani and divine revelation which gives guidance and guidance to all humans. He is a miracle of ruhiyyah akliyyah not hissiyyah. Allah has specified al-Qurān as an eternal miracle of reason throughout the ages so that it becomes the material for thought of scholars and scientists. Hopefully with this study humans can be enlightened rather than light, get benefits rather than clues to face the days ahead. In al-Qurān there are many forms of i'jāz including al-bayāniy, al-tashrī'iy, al-ghaibiy and al-'ilmiy. In this case the reviewers will focus the study of the miracles of al-Qurān from the point of i'jāz 'ilmiy in the surah al-Ra'd. This study refers to the qualitative method of inquiry, namely the analysis of the texts of the verses of al-Qurān surah al-Ra'd based on the books of muktabar interpretation. Apart from that modern science findings by scholars related were analyzed. The objective of the study is to explain the concept of i'jāz 'ilmiy.

Despite the widespread emergence of translations and diverse types of language mediation in contemporary society, our knowledge of the processes and operators involved in the "translation industry" is still very sketchy. With most translation scholars working within the liberal arts paradigm, research to date has tended to adopt methodologies pertaining to the humanities while overlooking more practical approaches typical of the more ‘scientific’ disciplines. This paper outlines the necessity for empirical methods that aim at gathering information regarding basic aspects of translation, ranging from typologies of translations to the operators involved in their production as well as aspects regarding end user perception. Such maps and atlases delineating the status quo of translation and interpreting would provide information for fresh insights.

Abstract: The emergence of paradigms arising from the discoveries of quantum physics, psychology and biology have provided new ways of seeing and interacting with the world that break with materialism and modern science, perspectives that still strongly influence contemporary society. This research approaches the concept of reality based on the field theory reflecting on the influences of this perspective in school education. The methodology used included review of the literature, technical visits in ten schools in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay – which were recorded in field journals – and interviews of coordinators, teachers and mothers of two of the schools visited. The collected content was evaluated using the content analysis, according to Bardin and Minayo. The results of the visits made it possible to reveal aspects related to the way of being school and its approximations with the characteristics of the emerging schools; In addition to the interviews, it was possible to verify that emerging schools propose new possibilities for being a school. The conclusions point out that, with due regard for conceptual differences, there is a set of schools based on the quantum paradigms, referred to here as emerging schools, already being concrete experiences of these "new" Kósmoslogies. Adopting these precepts enables the understanding of human multidimensionality, biological, emotional, rational, intuitive, social and cultural, as well as the inseparability of our existence and the world around us. It allows the adoption of practices still uncommon in contemporary schools such as Yoga, meditation, circular dances and psychodrama, and still converges to assume an ethical position of respect for all forms of life and overcoming any form of exploitation and sectarianism. Keywords: Paradigms.
