The article discusses the possibility of experimental modeling of mass culture phenomena while studying for small social groups. This strategy is defined on the base of the subject-active approach. In accordance with this approach the author claims by the following. As well as a person, small group, large social group and even society at large are subjects of the creative activity; therefore in many situations they are similar. The purpose of this study was to examine the emergence of the new group norms and cultural values in conditions of experimental simulation. The analysis of this phenomenon is based on the social and cultural dynamics theory, which was offered by A. Mole’s. The author believes that there are grounds to assert that meaningless objects can become the values of mass culture following the principle: an accidental phenomenon — the group norm — socio-cultural value. The study was conducted by the laboratory experiment in three stages. It showed that an object (a word) randomly selected by the participants in the experiment can become sensible in the framework of group decision-making. It gains «value» for the participants so as they try to keep it on while a discussion with opponents.

INTERNALIZATION OF SOCIO-CULTURAL VALUE BASED ON ETHNO-RELIGIOUS IN MAN YOGYAKARTA III. The phenomenon of violence in the name of religion, ethnicity, and culture has shown that humans have failed to understand heterogeneity, diversity, and plurality as main characteristics of the Islamic educational institutions, such as Madrasa. For responding that phenomenon, MAN Yogyakarta III (Mayoga) believes that they will create the humanist and inclusive education. This research with phenomenological approach and qualitative descriptive method was focused on best practice done by Mayoga, humanist and inclusive education. The results showed that the values of diversity in Mayoga were internalized in learning activities by integrating the values of religion, culture, and diversity. The integration generates socio-cultural values, such as appreciating ‘mazhab’ differences in religious practices, cultural assimilation and regional languages, tolerance and human rights, and social coherence among the school communities. Thus, the social values that grow in Mayoga can keep the values of social cohesion among people in Madrasa.

Notwithstanding a recent resurgence of scholarly interest in what one may call “Mappila Studies”—the body of scholarship on the Muslims of Malabar in the Malayalam-speaking South Indian state of Kerala—research on this community still leaves too much to be desired. As for the fate of Mappilaliterary culturewithin this incipient field of study, scholars have either given short shrift to or painted in broad brushstrokes the impressive literary legacy of the Mappila Muslims of Malabar despite its enormous historic/al and socio-cultural value.2That said, even the tiny array of scholarly works, mostly by Malayali scholars, that seeks to treat of Mappila literature has largely approached the subject, I argue, from a provincialised “literary” vantage point, thereby reducing the whole of Mappila narratives to mere aesthetic artifacts having no bearing upon the lives of Mappilas. I call this dominant paradigm of doing Mappila literature “literarisation”—that is, fetishising the “literariness” of text by privileging its formal, stylistic, and aesthetic features over its social tone and life. This view assumes text to be a domain of symbols separable from a domain of practice and disregards the social production of text which cannot be abstracted out from the materialities giving shape to it.3

The enactment of Regional Regulation of Medan City Number 13 of 2011 and Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2016 have not accommodated the importance of Cultural values in the process of formation on spatial and region planning so that the RTRW development carried out by the Medan City government is only based on regulation alone without looking further into the social context and culture. According to Von Savigny's Theory, the formation of law must be based on people's souls (Volkgeist) as the raw material for the formation of law. Therefore, in the formation of regional regulations must pay attention to the cultural values of the indigenous people of an area. The inclusion of Malay cultural values in regional regulations in Medan City is a form of the realization of the state implementing Article 18B paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution. Integration of the cultural values of the Malay people in Medan City into regional regulations is carried out through the implementation of the legislative functions of the Medan City Government and DPRD to accommodate and protect the soul of the nation from the original tribe of Medan City whose existence has been marginalized. Revitalizing the cultural value of the Deli Malay in Medan City into spatial and region regulation is a form of protection of the Medan city government towards the cultural, historical and social values of the Malay people in the Medan City.
