The purposes of this study are to 1) assess the current situation of operating the community market in accordance with the Pracharath (civil state) project driven through Thailand 4.0 policy, 2) examine problems and barriers of managing the Pracharath (civil state) community market, and 3) explore and introduce the model of the Pracharath (civil state) community market. Additionally, the mixed method, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques, were used questionnaire with 402 samples. Also, in-depth data were collected by interviewing persons involved. Besides, Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and interpretation. The result shows that 1) In terms of operating, the customers are quite impressed as they get what they want. The quality of the merchandise is the Pracharath (civil state) stores’ top priority. The products have to be standard and reliable. In addition, the staffs of stores are honest. In terms of distribution channels, The stores are conveniently located and easy to access. In terms of marketing promotion, information is always provided to customers. In terms of price, the prices of products are reasonable comparing to other shops. The analysis of the model, after the static adjustment, shows that all values passed the criteria. 2) Moving to problems and barriers in managing and operating the store, there is a lack of electronic equipment for use in the store. Besides, there are customers’ arrears. It was found that some products are about to expire. Also, the kinds of products are not varied. 3) The model of the Pracharath (civil state) community market should focus on customers’ motivation, for instance, giving an average dividend, return the benefits. The pattern of developing all those involved in community stores, marketing communication, and an excellent administrative system should be also focused on.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting brand competitive positioning (BCP) and its components in the home appliance industry and also to develop a scale for it, considering both the seller’s and the buyer’s side. Design/methodology/approach The factors were investigated both qualitatively and quantitatively. Data was collected from findings of previous research as well as interviews with experts in the industry. After conducting thematic analysis, the extracted factors were confirmed by experts. A total of 400 samples was used to test the BCP scale. Respondents were the customers of some selected home appliance brands. Findings The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses indicated that seven main factors influenced BCP, including product quality, service quality, perceived price, sales and distribution, marketing communication, market orientation and reputation and background. Also, the five components of BCP are distinctiveness, desirability, credibility, value for money and top of the mind awareness. Originality/value Modelling a new scale on BCP is of considerable importance. Using mixed method, the current study presents a new scale named Brand Competitive Positioning Scale.

The purpose of this study was to measure Islamic university mathematics and science lecturers (IU-MSLs) perception of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) in 21st-century learning. This research utilized a quantitative method derived from a descriptive survey collected from 48 lecturers at a single university. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and alpha Cronbach methods were applied to determine the quality of the instruments used in this study. Furthermore, descriptive statistics and ANOVA were used to analyze the data obtained, while correlations were used to test the hypotheses. The results showed no relationship between teaching experience (TE) and teaching ability (TA) with TPACK. In addition, there were no differences in lecturers' perceptions of TPACK based on the material being taught. This study concluded that TPACK is an essential competency for mathematics and science lecturers in an Islamic university.

Abstract Background and Objective: There is no comprehensive instrument for the assessment of postpartum quality of life (QOL). This study was conducted to develop the Maternal Postpartum Quality of Life Instrument (MPQOLI) and assess its psychometric properties.Materials and Methods: This methodological study was conducted in 2019–2020 using an exploratory sequential mixed-method design. A qualitative study and a literature review were conducted to generate MPQOLI items. Through purposeful sampling, 590 postpartum women were recruited to respond the instrument. Face and content validity were assessed qualitatively and quantitatively and construct validity was assessed through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses and convergent and discriminant validity assessments. Reliability was also assessed through different methods, including Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s Omega.Results: Eight items were deleted in content validity assessments and eighteen items were deleted in item analysis. Participants responded the 31-item MPQOLI. During exploratory factor analysis, fifteen items were deleted and the remaining sixteen items were loaded on five factors labeled perceived support, sexual relationship, bonding with newborn, breastfeeding and newborn care, and satisfaction with postpartum transition. These five factors explained 53.26% of the total variance. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the five-factor structure of MPQOLI with a CMIN/DF of 2.192, an RMSEA of 0.057, a χ2 of 206.087, a PCFI of 0.738, a PNFI of 0.705, a CFI of 0.942, and an IFI of 0.943. Average variance extracted was more than 0.5 and more than maximum shared squared variance, confirming convergent and discriminant validity, respectively. Reliability was also confirmed with Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.70–0.907 and an intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.919.Conclusion: The sixteen-item MPQOLI is a valid and reliable instrument for postpartum QOL assessment. It includes items on the different aspects of postpartum QOL and can be used for the early diagnosis of impaired postpartum QOL. Further studies are needed to assess the psychometric properties of MPQOLI in different cultures and communities.

The present paper reexamines the psychometric properties of the Quality Perception Questionnaire (QPQ), an Italian survey instrument measuring patients’ perceptions of the quality of a recent hospital admission experience, in a sample of 4400 patients (Mage = 56.42 years; SD = 19.71 years, 48.8% females). The 14-item survey measures four factors: satisfaction with medical doctors, nursing staff, auxiliary staff, and hospital structures. First, we tested two models using a confirmatory factor analysis (structural equation modeling): a four orthogonal factor and a four oblique factor model. The SEM fit indices and the χ² difference suggested the acceptance of the second model. We then did a simulation using a bootstrap with 1000 replications. Results confirmed the four oblique factor solution. Third, we tested whether there were significant differences with respect to age or sex. The multivariate general linear model showed no significant differences in the factors with respect to sex or age.

The purpose of this study is to review the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 in order to improve the quality of services at Pusat Kesihatan Universiti (PKU), Universiti Utara Malaysia. The respondents of this study were customers at the PKU, UUM. The questionnaire was distributed to 50 respondents. The data were analyzed using SPSS software version 24. The data were tested using descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis to answer the research questions and to achieve the objectives. The findings show that customers agree that implementation of ISO 9001:2015 give service at PKU, UUM is good and satisfied. Through the correlation test, the results showed that the relationship between the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction and the effect of implementing ISO 9001:2015 has a positive and significant impact in improving quality of service at PKU, UUM.Through mean and standard deviation tests, results show that tangible dimensions are the main dimensions of customer satisfaction while dimensions with low values are dimensions of responsiveness.Therefore, all aspects of service in PKU, UUM will be strengthened and all aspects of the weaknesses could be addressed to improve the service in order to maintain good quality services.

The multi-dimensional relationship between housing and population health is now well recognised internationally, across both developing and developed nations. This paper examines a dimension within the housing and health relationship – accessibility – that to date has been considered difficult to measure. This paper reports on the mixed method results of larger mixed-method, exploratory study designed to measure the impact of home modifications on Health-Related Quality of Life, supported by qualitative data of recipients’ experiences of home modifications. Data was gathered from 157 Australian HACC clients, who had received home modifications. Measurements were taken for both before and after home modifications and reveal that home modifications were associated with an average 40% increase in Health-Related Quality of Life levels. The qualitative results revealed that participants positively associated home modifications across six effect themes: increased safety and confidence, improved mobility at home, increased independence, supported care-giving role, increased social participation, and ability to return home from hospital. This exploratory research gives an insight into the potential for accessible architecture to impact improvements in community health and wellbeing.

BACKGROUND Mobile health apps (MHA) have the potential to improve health care. The commercial MHA market is rapidly growing, but the content and quality of available MHA are unknown. Consequently, instruments of high psychometric quality for the assessment of the quality and content of MHA are highly needed. The Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS) is one of the most widely used tools to evaluate the quality of MHA in various health domains. Only few validation studies investigating its psychometric quality exist with selected samples of MHAs. No study has evaluated the construct validity of the MARS and concurrent validity to other instruments. OBJECTIVE This study evaluates the construct validity, concurrent validity, reliability, and objectivity, of the MARS. METHODS MARS scoring data was pooled from 15 international app quality reviews to evaluate the psychometric properties of the MARS. The MARS measures app quality across four dimensions: engagement, functionality, aesthetics and information quality. App quality is determined for each dimension and overall. Construct validity was evaluated by assessing related competing confirmatory models that were explored by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). A combination of non-centrality (RMSEA), incremental (CFI, TLI) and residual (SRMR) fit indices was used to evaluate the goodness of fit. As a measure of concurrent validity, the correlations between the MARS and 1) another quality assessment tool called ENLIGHT, and 2) user star-rating extracted from app stores were investigated. Reliability was determined using Omega. Objectivity was assessed in terms of intra-class correlation. RESULTS In total, MARS ratings from 1,299 MHA covering 15 different health domains were pooled for the analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed a bifactor model with a general quality factor and an additional factor for each subdimension (RMSEA=0.074, TLI=0.922, CFI=0.940, SRMR=0.059). Reliability was good to excellent (Omega 0.79 to 0.93). Objectivity was high (ICC=0.82). The overall MARS rating was positively associated with ENLIGHT (r=0.91, P<0.01) and user-ratings (r=0.14, P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS he psychometric evaluation of the MARS demonstrated its suitability for the quality assessment of MHAs. As such, the MARS could be used to make the quality of MHA transparent to health care stakeholders and patients. Future studies could extend the present findings by investigating the re-test reliability and predictive validity of the MARS.

We assessed neuroticism, perceived stress, and work-related factors among obstetrician-gynecologists (ob-gyns), and examined the relationships between these variables. Surveys were sent to 500 physician members of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and we received 287 (57.4%) completed responses. Analyses included descriptive statistics and linear regressions. Ob-gyns reported high levels of perceived stress. After controlling for neuroticism, variables that significantly predicted stress levels included average hours worked, perception of working too many hours, colleague support for work–home balance, isolation due to gender/cultural differences, and perception of workplace control. Because these work-related factors are linked to stress even when controlling for neuroticism, administrators and physicians may consider whether any of these factors are modifiable to mitigate physician stress. This in turn may affect physicians' own health and the quality of care patients receive.

Abstract Introduction and hypothesis Variations in guidelines may result in differences in treatments and potentially poorer health-related outcomes. We aimed to systematically review and evaluate the quality of national and international guidelines and create an inventory of CPG recommendations on CPP. Methods We searched EMBASE and MEDLINE databases from inception till August 2020 as well as websites of professional organizations and societies. We selected national and international CPGs reporting on the diagnosis and management of female CPP. We included six CPGs. Five researchers independently assessed the quality of included guidelines using the AGREE II tool and extracted recommendations. Results Two hundred thirty-two recommendations were recorded and grouped into six categories: diagnosis, medical treatment, surgical management, behavioural interventions, complementary/alternative therapies and education/research. Thirty-nine (17.11%) recommendations were comparable including: a comprehensive pain history, a multi-disciplinary approach, attributing muscular dysfunction as a cause of CPP and an assessment of quality of life. Two guidelines acknowledged sexual dysfunction associated with CPP and recommended treatment with pelvic floor exercises and behavioural interventions. All guidelines recommended surgical management; however, there was no consensus regarding adhesiolysis, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy during hysterectomy, neurectomy and laparoscopic uterosacral nerve ablation. Half of recommendations (106, 46.49%) were unreferenced or made in absence of good-quality evidence or supported by expert opinion. Based on the AGREE II assessment, two guidelines were graded as high quality and recommended without modifications (EAU and RCOG). Guidelines performed poorly in the “Applicability”, “Editorial Independence” and “Stakeholder Involvement” domains. Conclusion Majority of guidelines were of moderate quality with significant variation in recommendations and quality of guideline development.
