Pelvic inflammatory diseases are widespread form of women pathology. In many cases these diseases are connected to IUD application and frequently result in violations of specific functions of a female organism. We conduct operation on generalization of data of literary sources, with reference to the given kind of a pathology, analyse the etiology, clinical features, methods of treatment (conservative and surgical), and also paths for restoring fertility and endocrine functions.

Background:Polymyositis (PM) and dermatomyositis (DM) are autoimmune inflammatory diseases characterized by proximal myositis. Dysphagia has been reported to develop in 35 to 62% of PM/DM patients and known as poor prognosis factor. Objectives:The purpose of this study is to determine the clinical characteristics of PM/DM patients who present with deglutition disorder. Methods:Consecutive patients with PM/DM who visited National Hospital Organization Tokyo Medical Center between April 2010 and January 2021 are included in this study. We compared clinical features between the patients with and without dysphagia. The diagnosis of dysphagia was based on videofluorography swallow study, and dysphagia requiring gastrostomy was defined as severe dysphagia. The clinical characteristics compared in this study were following: age of onset, levels of serum creatine kinase (CK) and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), sense of dysphagia, manual muscle test (MMT) score, and complication of malignancy or interstitial pneumonia. Results:A total of 73 patients with PM/DM were identified. Among them, 12 patients were diagnosed with dysphagia, and 5 patients developed severe dysphagia. Patients with dysphagia had the following characteristics compared to patients without dysphagia: higher levels of serum LDH (833.7 ± 500.1 U/L vs 471.9 ± 321.0 U/L, p = 0.0088), higher levels of serum CK at initial examination (6070.3 ± 7184.8 IU/L vs 1534.7 ± 2978.8 IU/L, p = 0.0086) and more frequent sense of dysphagia (90.9% vs 10.6%, p< 0.0001), lower MMT score(3.18 ± 1.07 vs 4.31 ± 0.75, p = 0.0017). In addition to those, patients with severe dysphagia presented older age of onset (mean age 69.4 ± 12.0 vs 51.7 ± 14.8, p = 0.014), more frequent complication of malignancy (80.0% vs 14.8%, p= 0.0048) and less frequent complication of interstitial pneumonia (0.0% vs 55.5%, p= 0.023).Conclusion:These results indicate that dysphagia develops frequently in PM/DM patients with higher levels of serum LDH or CK, sense of dysphagia and low MMT score. Among them, patients with elderly onset or malignancy are at risk for sever dysphagia, and should be treated carefully.Disclosure of Interests:None declared.

The monograph under review is a timely and fundamental work: the treatment of inflammatory diseases in the pelvic, small pelvis and gluteal region is still a very difficult task, and the results are not very encouraging. The existing topographic and anatomical concepts of diseases in this area do not always correspond to clinical realities.

The treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genitalia has long been one of the most important tasks of the gynecologist. With the development of surgery, surgical methods of treatment began to be applied: exudates were removed, the uterus and inflamed appendages were extirpated, etc.; but the danger of surgical intervention on the one hand, and on the other - the severe consequences of removal of organs such as ovaries, especially in young women - forced gynecologists to spend much effort in discovering and improving non-operative methods of treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genital parts. Among these methods, physical methods such as water, mud, light baths, massage, etc., as well as those related to electricity have long been prominent.

This article discusses the clinical and echodopplerographic features of cervical cancer, which allows to improve the differential, topical and clarifying diagnosis of malignant tumors of the uterus. The material for the study included 115 patients with cervical cancer who applied to the Andijan branch of the cancer center. The revealed clinical and echodopplerographic features of СС made it possible to predict the course, outcome of the disease and to choose the optimal methods of treatment. Ultrasound monitoring of patients with СС, allows to assess the effectiveness of treatment and timely detect metastases and disease progression.

Abstract Background Severe fever with thrombocytopenia (SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease caused by a novel bunyavirus designated SFTS virus (SFTSV) with a high fatality rate. Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is an immune-mediated life-threatening disease triggered by infections, neoplasms and noninfectious inflammatory diseases. A few HLH associated with SFTSV were reported. According to the diagnostic criteria of HLH, 11 patients with SFTS were reviewed. Methods During last 2 years (2015–2016), 11 SFTS patients were diagnosed at the Wonju Severance Christian Hospital, Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine, Wonju, South Korea. Clinical features were analyzed using diagnostic criteria of 2004-HLH trial. We described if the prognosis of SFTSV-infected patients was associated with clinical features of HLH. Results Of 11 patients, four patients were fulfillled the diagnostic criteria of 2004-HLH trial (five of eight criteria). Two patients were fulfilled the four criteria. Five patients were fulfilled three or less criteria. Three of six patients who fulfilled four or more criteria were died. There was no mortality in five patients who fulfilled three or less criteria. Hemophagocytosis in bone marrow (BM) was observed in all six patients who were taken BM study. Conclusion In SFTS, HLH was severe clinical feature and it might be associated with poor prognosis. Sarcoidosis is a chronic systemic granulomatous disease that occasionally affects the larynx. When the degree of involvement is marked, significant airway obstruction can occur. We present four cases of laryngeal sarcoidosis that resulted in airway obstruction. The clinical features of sarcoidosis of the larynx are discussed, and current methods of treatment are summarized. The laryngologist should include laryngeal sarcoidosis in the differential diagnosis of patients with airway obstruction, and should play a major role in its management.

The notion about the culture of movements and bodily education of a person has been analyzed in the given work on the basis of the summary of literary sources and experience, as well as on the professional activities. It has been shown that the physical education and training, are related to the sphere, in which the human bodily essence in its culturological aspect should be shown more than ever.
