Now in the Russian Federation negative tendencies in the state of health of children in all age categories are observed: high incidence, growth of prevalence of chronic pathology, existence of morfo-functional deviations, deterioration in the main quality indicators of health of children. Studying of data on incidence, death rate, disability, physical development and a role of the factors determining them in separate age groupes holds a specific place in assessment of health of children. For receipt of objective assessment of the state of health of the children’s population it is necessary to analyze in interrelation statistics on different sources: database of compulsory health insurances funds, medical examinations of children, accounting and reporting documentation of the medical organizations, computer methods of inspection of the children’s population. Social and hygienic researches on this problem are of great importance for practical health care consisting in development of recommendations about decrease in indicators of incidence, disability and death rate of children, offers of new organizational forms of work of treatment and prevention facilities. We in article provided the analysis of the children of 0-17 years this about the state of health inclusive of St Petersburg for the period 2011-2015. The main demographic characteristics of the children’s population are studied, features of physical development of children of 0-17 years inclusive, incidences, including prevalence of chronic pathology and socially important diseases among the children’s contingent, disability are revealed.

Pupils have a high level of chronic disease, the indicators of their physical development are reduced with increasing educational load. In this regard, of particular interest is the state of health of schoolchildren, additionally engaged in active sports in special clubs. Purpose of research. To study the state of health of schoolchildren of St. Petersburg attending the clubs of active sport, depending on age. Materials and methods. Data of medical examinations of 1122 schoolchildren 8-16 years old, engaged in sports schools in St. Petersburg. The Mann-Whitney U-test and the comparison of relative frequencies in two populations were used. Results of the research and discussion. Among children, the most popular sports are football (36.7%) and athletics (29.4%), the prevailing majority of children attend clubs from 1 year to 6.5 years. The proportion of pupils from the second health group was 84.9%, healthy children from the first health group – 13.1%, respectively. The most frequent deviations of musculoskeletal system were posture disorders (69.7% of children) and scoliosis (10.0%), at the same time, by the age of 16, the incidence of posture disorders significantly decreased (p < 0.05), and the proportion of scoliosis increased (p < 0.01). Myopia of weak and moderate degree was revealed in 13.3% of surveyed schoolchildren, the proportion of children with myopia by the age of 16 increased significantly (to 20.7%, p < 0.05). Among children attending sports clubs, fewer have myopia than among pupils enrolled in regular schools. The revealed dynamics of morbidity of the musculoskeletal system among children engaged in sports sections, indicates the need for continuous medical monitoring of the level of physical activity and the need to correct the training regimen in identifying children’s health abnormalities.

This article is intended to reveal that the topics concerned with health and disease cannot be a pure medical speech topic , because they are not only two physical happens , but they are built socially and culturally as well. thus , the sociologists have produced another speech , which , on the one hand , was regarded as parallel or marginal to medical speech , on the other hand , it was considered as competitive to it. the sociologists have relied on multiple entries so as to construct the social reality related to this topic , the social representations entry is among them , this entry has showed that expressing the state of health and disease is no longer presented by body language , as the doctors believe , but by the language of society and culture. therefore , it is compulsory to dispense with medical centralization and to adapt a various and extrovert vision. moreover , the issue of health should become a social matter that involves medical , political , economical , lawful , and cultural trends.

Annotation. The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the transformation of professionally important psychophysiological qualities of military pilots who are practically healthy and patients with stage I hypertension. The article highlights the hidden factors that contribute to the performance of a military pilot. These factors make it possible to explain the peculiarities of the mechanisms of organization of working capacity in practically healthy and patients with hypertension and stage I military pilots. Special decision-making rules have been developed, which make it possible to state that even small changes in the state of health that occur during the development of stage I hypertension are appropriately reflected in the level of psychophysiological functions on the basis of which it is possible to distinguish with a probability of 77.5%. The degree of connection between the state of health of military pilots and the level of their psychophysiological characteristics was assessed. Recommendations for taking into account cognitive changes in pilots of patients with stage I hypertension have been developed. It is established that stage I hypertension affects the structure of correlations of psychophysiological functions of the body, which shows the difference in the mechanisms of regulation of these functions in the development of the disease. It is shown that even practically healthy military pilots have different levels of mental capacity and can show their psychophysiological qualities in different ways, especially in extreme conditions. In addition, it was found that hypertension makes about a third of the surveyed sick pilots more active, which, in turn, increases the physiological cost of professional activities, to reduce which requires periodic treatment and prevention and rehabilitation measures.

Relevance. Health maintanance and professional longevity are primary objectives of medical and psychological support for personnel of EMERCOM of Russia. Information about the state of health of military personnel and civilian personnel of rescue military units of Emercom of Russia, as well as military units for radiation, chemical and biological protection was not found in the available literature.Intention. Clarify data on the state of health of military personnel and civilian personnel of rescue military units of Emercom of Russia for developing evidence-based preventive and rehabilitation measures in the future.Methodology. The health status of the personnel of rescue military units of Emercom of Russia was studied on the model of the Federal State-Owned Institution Nevsky Rescue Center of Emercom of Russia (Kolpino, St. Petersburg) based on the results of periodic medical examinations in 2015–2016.Results and Discussion. The overall prevalence of diseases revealed in military and civilian personnel during the annual medical examination was similar, including the main classes of diseases, and averaged 2 diseases per 1 person. The overall prevalence of diseases in the older age group (30–44 years) of military personnel 1.2–1.4-fold (p = 0.021) exceeded that of the younger (18–29) age group of military personnel as well as of both age groups of civilian personnel. No convincing impact of professional experience on the prevalence of diseases was revealed.Conclusion. The levels and structure of pathology revealed during periodic medical examinations in military personnel and civilian personnel of the Nevsky Rescue Center had no statistically significant differences, suggesting the fundamental similarity of the nature and intensity of occupational factors. At the same time, age rather than the duration of professional activities influenced the frequency of the revealed pathology in the studied sample. Weighted indicators of public health over a longer period of time (5+ years) will help eliminate stochastic effects and make reasonable conclusions about the prevalence of diseases in various military rescue specialists.

This article presents data on the leading role of the biological factor in the formation of occupational diseases among health workers for an 18-year period of the work at the North-West Scientific Center for Hygiene and Public Health. The purpose of the study is to provide an objective assessment in establishing relationships related to the effects of a biofactor on the health of health workers. A retrospective analysis was made of a sample of case histories with established occupational diseases due to the impact of a biological factor. There were observed in dynamics 67 cases including 52 women (77 %) and 15 men (23%) aged 23-67 years. All of them were examined for the establishment of the relationship between the disease and occupation during the period of 2000-2017. The infectious agent is considered to be the leading harmful production factor when analyzing working conditions. The average work experience with an infectious agent was 14 years. The class of working conditions in most cases was estimated from permissible to harmful of the 1 degree. Based on the data of sanitary and hygienic characteristics of working conditions, the excess of the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful industrial substances in the air of the working area was recorded only in 8% of cases. The detectability of occupational diseases after periodic medical examinations was 6%; by clinical examination - 8%; when contacting a local physician 20%; to the pathologist 20%; as a result of self-reversal 46%. The biological factor is the leading harmful factor in the workplace of medical workers. As the main preventive measure for occupational diseases among physicians, systematic medical examinations followed by preventive, curative and rehabilitative measures are taken. The most effective way to reduce infectious diseases is the compulsory vaccination of medical staff.

Aim. Analysis of the main tendencies in the state of health of children in Russia in 2011-2016 and representation of priorities in its preservation. Methods. The official statistical data characterizing the state of health of the children’s population aged 0-17 years were used: birth rate, population of this age, physical development, incidence, disability, mortality. Results. In general, positive tendencies in the state of health of children and teenagers are observed. The high ratio of children with normal level of physical development was noted. According to routine medical examinations, more than one third of the examined children are healthy. Growth of the general and primary incidence among children of all age groups has stopped. The incidence of socially important diseases (tuberculosis, syphilis, gonococcal infection, alcoholism, drug addiction and inhalant abuse) among children and teenagers is reducing, level of newly diagnosed human immunodeficiency virus infection has stabilized. Mortality from the majority of main causes among children of all age groups, especially during the first year of life, has significantly decreased. However, the level of primary and general disability of children aged 0-17 years remains stable. Conclusion. The current priorities of children’s health care are health problems of teenagers, children’s disability, implementation of preventive medical care for children in primary care setting, improvement of medical rehabilitation, optimization of the system of medical social care to children’s population.
