Mastery in creative thinking ability on Elementary school students have become a central issue in Indonesia education system. The ability to think creatively in learning Mathematics is needed in solving the problems, especially the problem in the form of stories. This study aimed to investigate the use of Problem Posing approach on creative thinking ability of elementary school students. The study is descriptive qualitative study. The students of fourth grade of elementary school were chosen as subject of the research. The data collected from the result of observation sheet and test and then analyzed using the scoring indicator rubrics, developed by Siswono. The result of this study showed that (1) By applying the problem posing approach, the activities of fourth grader elementary school students have increase in mathematics learning about the story problem on calculating mixed operations and (2) the application of the problem posing approach can improve the creative thinking ability of fourth grade students.

One of the abilities students must possess is Creative Thinking Ability (CTA) in order to succeed in their lives. Learning must facilitate students to develop CTA; one of them is by developing a mobile application based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). The purpose of this study is to determine the level of validity/feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of mobile application based RME. This mobile application development used the ADDIE model development procedure. The subjects in this study were grade 4 elementary school students. The validation data collection techniques through validation sheets, practicality data through CTA tests. The results of the study show that the developed of mobile application integrated with realistic mathematics meets valid/proper requirements based on expert and practitioner assessments that are practical and easy if applied in mathematics learning and that is effective in improving students’ creative thinking ability.

Based on interviews and observations which did by researcher before doing research obtained information that creative thinking ability and students learning result of class X A of MAN Malang II Batu City still relatively low, it is because in teaching the teacher only give the procedure a matter without explaining what the procedures used. This research aims to know whether the open ended approach and problem posing with mathematical tree media can improve the creative thinking ability and learning result the trigonometry of students X A Man Malang II Batu City. Based on research which has been done found the following matters: (1) creative thinking ability of students in the cycle I classified as creative is the percentage of success is 67.85% while in the cycle II increased with the percentage of success is 78.57% classified as very creative;(2) completeness of students learning result in the cycle I still was reached 50.00% with students who completed study are 14 students and who did not complete study are 14 students with class average 63.25, while in the cycle II was reached 89.28% with students who completed study are 25 students and who did not complete study are 3 students with class average 80.46; (3)management open ended learning approach and problem posing with mathematical tree media in the cycle I was reached 88% classified as the criteria very good and in the cycle II was reached 100% classified as the criteria very good it is shown by the implementation all indicators and descriptors open ended learning approach and problem posing with mathematical tree media are very good; and (4) students activities in the learning using open ended learning approach and problem posing with mathematical tree media in the cycle I was reached 82.50% classified as very good and more enhanced again in the cycle II up to 100% classified as the criteria very good, it is shown with the students who had dared to asking about something which have not understood, the students dared to expressed their opinion in making the questions and answer through mathematical tree media, the students dare to presented the result of their work in front of the class.

The students' mathematical creative thinking ability is still low and lacks attention in the implementation of mathematics learning. This issue requires an attempt to address the problem. One of the efforts that can be done by teachers to develop creative thinking ability is by applying a Brain-Based Learning model of learning. This study aims to describe the development of students' mathematical creative thinking ability through Brain-Based Learning model. This research employed a qualitative approach. Participants were six students selected from 30 students of class VIII-1 in SMP Negeri 19 Percontohan Banda Aceh. The instruments used in this research are creative thinking ability test and interview guide. The results showed that the ability of students' mathematical creative thinking through Brain-Based Learning model developed. The development of students' creative thinking ability in each indicator is different. The students' mathematical creative thinking abilities for indicators of fluency and flexibility develop at each session. For indicators of originality and elaboration, there was a decrease in the second session but increased for the next one.

Creative thinking ability is one of competencies that has to be possesed by all people includes elementary school students. Learning process in class doesn’t give any chances yet to all students to achive this competency. It is one of the causes of the low learning outcomes. The study aims to determine and describe creative thinking ability with problem posing model. The model that is used in this study is Kurt Lewin research model, where the process of action research occurs in a contiunous circle, includes the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this study is students from five grade in Salatiga Public Elementary School Tingkir Tengah 2 totaling 29 students. The technique of data collection used test technique and observation. The data were analyzed with comparative descriptive analysis or comparing result form each cycle. The result of this study showed that creative thinking ability increased on cycle I, 6,91% was on ‘very creative’ criteria, 28,27% was on ‘creative’ criteria, 17,24% was on ‘creative enough’ criteria, 13,79% was on ‘less creative’ category and 13,79% was on ‘not creative’ criteria. On cycle II increased, 44.82% was on ‘very creative’ criteria, 37,97% was on ‘creative’ criteria, 13,79% was on ‘creative enough’ criteria, 3,46% was on ‘less craetive’ criteria and no one was on ‘not creative’ criteria. This improvement on creative thinking ability can have a positive impact toward learning outcomes on cycle I which was 55,17% and on cycle II increased the completeness of 86,20%. With this result, it can be concluded that problem posing model could improve students’ creative thinking ability, so the suggestion that could be given is that learning process using problem posing model should be developed and can be made as one of alternative models in learning process

In learning process, students often appear reluctant to read mathematics books. So that the students do not understand the meaning and concept of the material they have heard and recorded. This research offers a pre-solution posing type of problem posing model. Students make questions according to the situation given by the teacher and then it solve by  themselves or finish them as discussion materials. The research objective is to examine, to describe the increase in creative thinking skills which have the effect of increasing learning achievement through the pre-solution posing type of problem posing model. The research was conducted at X-MIPA 2 SMAN 3 Semarang on vector material. Research variables are creative thinking skills and learning achievement. Data on creative thinking abilities were taken using observation sheets, data on learning achievement were taken by tests. The obtained data were scored, processed and presented descriptively. The results showed, the number of students completed, respectively, on the creative thinking variable was 57% and 86%, while the learning achievement was 60% and 91%. The increase that occurs shows the application of improved learning actions on vector material with the pre-solution posing type of problem posing learning model. ABSTRACT This study aims to solve the problem of lack of creative thinking ability used sinektik learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental design with a control group of non-equivalence. The subjects in this study were students of MTs Husnul Khotimah Kuningan VIII class are divided into two groups: the experimental group as many as 31 students and a control group as many as 33 students. The experimental group get sinektik learning model, while the control group getting conventional learning models. Collecting data using the research results in the form of test instruments of creative thinking ability. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Data pretest and posttest of creative thinking ability processed with SPSS 16 for windows. The results showed that an increase in creative thinking abilities of students who study mathematics learning model sinektik better than students who use conventional learning model.                                                                                                          Keywords: sinektik learning model, the ability creative thinking.
