A high proportion of truck drivers have smoking habits, especially for long-distance truck drivers, 90% of which have the habit of smoking. In recent years, some regulations are launched focus on the smoking behavior of drivers in the driving process. And the policies forces drivers to abandon the smoking habit. Abnormal indivisible load transport is crucial to the sustainable development of highway safety. In order to scientifically and effectively evaluate the traffic safety of highway abnormal indivisible load transportation, on the basis of extensive investiga of large transportation enterprises and management departments, combined with the method of UAV tracking and shooting video, the traffic variation features of outer profile size, load, dynamic characteristics and trajectory of abnormal indivisible load transport vehicles are obtained. Firstly, the meaning of abnormal in-divisible load transportation is defined. The traffic safety assessment of abnormal indivisible load transport is studied from the aspects of road accessibility and operation safety. Secondly, by ana-lyzing the jacking-up failure of abnormal indivisible load vehicles on convex curves, the sweeping space of the horizontal alignment, and rollover side slip conditions cross section, the road accessibility evaluation model of abnormal indivisible load vehicles under different highway alignment conditions is proposed. Thirdly, based on a certain binding strength, the constraint conditions for preventing the transverse and longitudinal sliding of the cargo are proposed, and the stability calculation method of the collapse point of the hydraulic trailer is determined. Finally, the feasibility and practicability of the safety evaluation method is verified by taking abnormal indivisible load transportation in Sichuan Province as an example. The achievements will lay a foundation for the necessary guidance of sustainable highway transport management. With the application of these technologies, the safety of abnormal indivisible load transport under smoke-free regulations can be guaranteed.

In order to evaluate urban rail traffic safety performance comprehensively and to find the weak link to strengthen management, this article, it used the secondary fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for safety assessment. the qualitative analysis was done to emphasis the structure importance and management strategies are put forward based on the results.

Increasing traffic volume and insufficient road lanes often require municipal roads to be reconstructed and expanded. Where a road passes under a bridge, the reconstruction and expansion project will inevitably have an impact on the bridge. To evaluate the safety impact of road engineering projects on bridges, this paper evaluates the safety of the roads and ancillary facilities of highway bridges involved in municipal road engineering projects. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the safety factors of municipal roads undercrossing existing bridges, a fuzzy comprehensive analytic hierarchy process (AHP) evaluation method for the influence of road construction on the safety of existing bridges is proposed. First, AHP is used to select 11 evaluation factors. Second, the target layer, criterion layer, and index layer of evaluation factors are established, then a safety evaluation factor system is formed. The three-scale AHP model is used to determine the weight of assessment indexes. Third, through the fuzzy comprehensive AHP evaluation model, the fuzzy hierarchical comprehensive evaluation is carried out for the safety assessment index system. Finally, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is applied to the engineering example of a municipal road undercrossing an existing expressway bridge. The comprehensive safety evaluation of the existing bridge reflects the practicability and feasibility of the method. It is expected that, with further development, the method will improve the decision-making process in bridge safety assessment systems.

Ensuring the safe operation of pipeline and monitoring it to prevent sudden accidents are an important task of current nondestructive testing work because of our country is in the peak period of long-distance pipeline construction. Welding cracks are common and most dangerous flaw in the root of the failure of the welded joints . Metal magnetic memory method is the only viable detection , evaluation method currently used for diagnosing the stress-strain state of serving welding crack in the early stages. So this article designs weld cracks of the general pipeline, establish a method to detect pipeline weld crack by metal magnetic memory method.

Maintaining the high visual recognizability of traffic signs for traffic safety is a key matter for road network management. Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS) systems provide efficient way of 3D measurement over large-scale traffic environment. This paper presents a quantitative visual recognizability evaluation method for traffic signs in large-scale traffic environment based on traffic recognition theory and MLS 3D point clouds. We first propose the Visibility Evaluation Model (VEM) to quantitatively describe the visibility of traffic sign from any given viewpoint, then we proposed the concept of visual recognizability field and Traffic Sign Visual Recognizability Evaluation Model (TSVREM) to measure the visual recognizability of a traffic sign. Finally, we present an automatic TSVREM calculation algorithm for MLS 3D point clouds. Experimental results on real MLS 3D point clouds show that the proposed method is feasible and efficient.

The introduction of the new concepts of air traffic management (ATM) and transition from centralized to decentralized air traffic control (ATC) with the change of traditional ATM to Cooperative ATM sets new tasks and opens new capabilities for air traffic safety systems. This paper is devoted to the problem of evaluating the probability of aircraft collision under the condition of Cooperative ATM, when the necessary information is available to the subjects involved in the decision‐making process. The generalized stochastic conflict probability evaluation method is developed. This method is based on the generalized conflict probability equation for evaluation of potential conflict probability and aircraft collision probability that is derived by taking into account stochastic nature and time correlation of deviation from planned flight trajectory in controlled air traffic. This equation is described as a multi‐dimensional parabolic partial differential equation using a differential (infinitesimal) operator of the multi‐dimensional stochastic process of relative aircraft movement. The common procedure for the prediction of conflict probability is given, and the practical application of the generalized method presented is shown. All equational coefficients of a differential operator for a practical solution of a parabolic partial differential equation are derived. For some conditions, the numerical solution of the conflict probability equation is obtained and illustrated graphically.

Abstrak Merokok merupakan hal yang biasa ditemui di dunia khususnya di Indonesia. Kebiasaan merokok ini banyak dijumpai pada orang yang berpendidikan tinggi, rendah, berbagai umur, muda maupun umur lanjut, laki-laki, perempuan, bekerja, tidak bekerja, miskin maupun tidak miskin, meskipun merokok diketahui mengganggu kesehatan. Karies gigi merupakan masalah yang utama pada kesehatan gigi–mulut. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, status ekonomi, dan merokok dengan karies gigi. Metode dengan menggunakan desain penelitian potong lintang (Cross Sectional). Sampel penelitian adalah semua anggota rumah tangga yang berusia 15 tahun ke atas. Sampel karies gigi berjumlah 173.828 orang. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara merokok dengan karies gigi dengan nilai p:0,664. Namun terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, sosial ekonomi dengan karies gigi dengan nilai p: 0,000. Bagi perokok maupun bukan perokok yang mempunyai masalah dengan karies gigi sebaiknya ke dokter gigi untuk dilakukan perawatan gigi berupa penambalan gigi atau perawatan saluran akar gigi. Kata kunci: merokok, karies gigi, riskesdas Abstract Smoking is a common behaviur in the world, especially in Indonesia. We meet this smoking habit in people who are highly or low educated, in various ages, include men, women although smoking is known to be dangerous interfere with they are health. Dental caries is a major problem in oral health. Objective whether there is a relationship between smoking and dental caries, is there a relationship between age, sex, education, occupation and socio-economic. The purpose of this study is there a relationship between smoking behavior and dental caries. Method by using the a Cross Sectional research design. The sample of study was all household members aged 15 years and over. The dental caries samples numbered 173,828 people. There was no relationship between smoking behavior and dental caries, with p value of 0.664. But there is a meaningful relationship between the variables of age, gender, socio-economic, education, occupation, with dental caries with p value: 0,000. For smokers and non smokers who have problems with dental caries should go to the dentist and having the dental care in the form of dental fillings or root canal treatment. ABSTRACT Introduction: Many students have been accustomed to smoking, including those majoring at health sciences. Theoretically, they are supposed to be the ones who are actively aware of some possible health damages caused by smoking habit. Thus, people around them play an essential role in taking control of someone’s pattern through social support, especially over those who are highly motivated to quit smoking. Objective: This study aimed to identify smoking behavior, social support, and cessation motivation in smoking among health sciences’ students. Methods: This research was categorized as observational-descriptive one, with the use of accidental sampling technique to recruit as many as 63 students of faculty of health sciences who were defined as active smokers. The data, furthermore, were collected by means of a questionnaire. At last, a statistical-descriptive analysis was used to evaluate the data. Result: The result was most of the involved respondents were shown to have a moderate trend of smoking (65%). On the other hand, the majority of the respondents had been supported through some types of social support with relatively high percentage, to name appraisal support (indicating 71%), tangible support (indicating 87%), self-esteem support (indicating 97%), and belonging support (indicating 92%). Moreover, most of the respondents were equipped by the high level of quittance motivation from smoking, signifying 71%.  Discussion: This research had indicated that the level of smoking habit perceived by the respondents was moderate. In short, appraisal support was defined as high, tangible support low, self-esteem support high, and belonging support high. In addition, some of the respondents had demonstrated a high level of quittance motivation from smoking
