ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility pada manajemen laba dengan keberadaan wanita dalam mekanisme Good Corporate Governance sebagai variabel moderasi. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam indeks LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan menerbitkan laporan tahunan serta laporan keberlanjutan (sustainability report) berturut-turut selama periode 2013-2017. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 sampel. Metode dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Moderated Regression Analysis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility berpengaruh positif pada manajemen laba. Keberadaan wanita dalam komite audit yang mewakili proksi dari variabel keberadaan wanita dalam mekanisme Good Corporate Governance mampu memperlemah pengaruh pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility pada manajemen laba. Hasil penelitian ini sejalan dengan teori hipotesis biaya politik yang menyatakan bahwa perusahaan yang memiliki biaya politik yang tinggi cenderung akan melakukan manajemen laba. The aim of this research is to provide empirical evidence on the impact of good corporate governance, free cash flow, and leverage ratio on earnings management. Good corporate governance is measured by audit committee’s size, the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership. Discretionary accrual is the proxy of earning management. This research used 28 consumer goods companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2018. Data were analyzed using panel data with random effect model. Based on the result of analysis concluded that all components of good corporate governance (audit committee’s size, the proportion of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership), have no significant effect on earnings management, on other hand leverage ratio has a negative effect and no significant on earning management, and free cash flow has a positve and no significant effect on earnings management

This research aimed to examine the effect of free cash flow and leverage to earnings management.This study also examines the role of good corporate governance as measured by the index Government in moderating influence of free cash flow and leverage on earnings management. This research was conducted in the company are listed in the JakartaIslamicIndex(JII)from2015-2017 and unlisted in the Bursa Efek Indonesia(BEI).The sample is determined by purposive sampling with 45 samples. This analysis uses regression analysis moderation (MRA). The results of the research indicate where (1) free cash flow significant effect on earnings management, (2) no leverage effect on earnings management, (3) good corporate governance as measured by the index of corporate governance is not able to moderate the influence of free cash flow and earnings management

ABSTRACT This reseach amied at knowing the influence of audit quality, propotion of independent commissioner, audit committe, firm size, managerial ownership and leverage. It used purposive sampling technique or choosing samples based on certain criteria. The sample of this research was 25 companies of banking industry in indonesia stock exchange period 2008-2012. Descriptive analysis, classical test, as well as multiple linear regression by examining the hypothesis using SPSS 20.0 were used to analyzed the data. The result shows that (1) all independent variables simultaneously hasinfluence on earnings management; (2) however partially audit committee, audit quality, managerial ownership and leverage do not affect significantly to earnings management; (3) only firm size and independent commissioner that affect significantly to earning management. The Objective of this research was to prove that the implementation of good corporate governance will have an effect on the real activities manipulation which was done by the management. The implementations of good governance used by this research are board of director composition and audit committee expertise. This research was conducted in Indonesia by using 306 firm years’ observations. The result of this research showed a different result from previous researches. This research showed that the implementation of good corporate governance in the form of board director composition and audit committee expertise do not impact the practice of real activities manipulation. Or, in other words some of the good corporate governance tool could not mitigate the real activities manipulation in the company.

Earnings management is driven by number of factors that are wrong to say leverage. One way to reduce management actions taken by management is the existence of good corporate governance in the company. This study aims to find evidence that is used to influence corporate earnings management in moderating the effect of leverage on earnings management. This research was conducted in all non-financial companies recorded in the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) in 2011-2016. The method of determining the sample used is purposive sampling. The number of companies that meet the requirements is 5 companies with 30 observations. Data collection is done by non-participant techniques. The data analysis technique used is Moderation Regression Analysis (MRA). Based on the results of the study, namely leverage has a negative effect on earnings management. This study also found that Corporate Governance was able to moderate the influence of leverage on earnings management. Keywords: Earnings Management, Leverage, Corporate Governance

This research aims to know the effect of Good Corporate Governanceon earnings management. This research uses audit committee, managerialownership, institusional ownership, and independent commissionersas an indicator of good corporate governance. This research uses 19 samplesof SOE’s company non-financial listed on the IDX in the periode 2015–2019. The sample selection is used by a purposive sampling method. Analysiswas carried out by multiple linear regressions. The result indicated thatinstitusional ownership has a negative effect on earnings management, managerialownership and audit committee has a positive effect on earnings management,and independent commissioners have no effect on earnings management.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect on earnings management information asymmetry, which was moderated by good corporate governance in 43 companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). To 43 companies such as sample in this study included the top 10 best Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) during the period 2004 - 2013. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Earnings management as independent variables proxy through Short Term Discretionary Accruals (STDA) and Long Term Discretionary Accruals (LTDA), while moderating variable is a proxy through Corporate Governance Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI). This analysis using multiple linear regression that was previously done through classical assumption test. The results of multiple linear regression analysis on the model of the Short Term Discretionary Accruals (STDA) showed that the asymmetry of information and good corporate governance significantly positive effect on earnings management. The results of multiple linear regression analysis on the model of the Long-Term Discretionary Accruals (LTDA) showed that the asymmetry of information and good corporate governance significantly negative effect on earnings management. While variable existing office Good Governance can moderate the effect of asymmetry in earnings management in Short-Term Discretionary Accruals (STDA) and Long Term Discretionary Accruals (Ltda).

Earning managements is a management action in the process of preparing financial statements to influence the level of earnings that is displayed. Earnings management is one factor that can reduce the credibility of financial statements. Add to bias earnings management in the financial statements and can interfere with the use of a trusted financial reports profit figures as a result of these engineering profit numbers without engineering. Corporate governance is a concept proposed to improve business performance through supervision or monitoring management performance and ensuring accountability of management to the stakeholders with a framework based on rules. The concept of corporate governance as proposed for the achievement of corporate management more transparent to all users of financial statements. If this concept is applied properly it is expected that economic growth will continue to rise in line with the transparency of corporate management a better and will benefit many parties. Detection possibility of earnings management in the financial statements, examined through the use of estimates of total accruals. Total accruals consist of nondiscretionary accrual and discretionary accruals. Earnings management occurs because of opposition from various interested parties on the financial statement information, which interested parties on financial statements information that is internal and external parties. Conflicts of interest that occurs is minimized by a mechanism that is capable of aligning the interests of external and internal parties. Agency theory suggests that earnings management issues can be eliminated with the supervision of their own through good corporate governance.<br /><br />Keywords: corporate governance, discretionary accrual<br /><br />

<p class="Style1"><em>The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of corporate governance </em><em>(GCG) which is proxied through managerial ownership and institutional ownership, as </em><em>well as earnings management on firm value. The sample used is LQ 45 company with </em><em>observation period from 2011 to 2015. Data analysis method uses multiple linear </em><em>regression. The results of this study are that there are positive and significant effects of </em><em>managerial ownership, institutional ownership and earnings management on firm </em><em>value.</em></p><p class="Style1"><strong><em><br /></em></strong></p>
