Purpose: This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effect of transformational leadership on performance with job satisfaction as a mediator of the educational staff at the University of X Yogyakarta, and the direct effect of job satisfaction on the performance of educational staff at the University of X Yogyakarta. Methodology: The population of this study was the educational staff at the University of X. The sampling technique used in this study was stratified random sampling, involving a total of 50 educational staff as samples. Data collection was done using a performance scale, job satisfaction scale, and transformational leadership scale. The data were analyzed using the path regression ordinary least square technique. Main Findings: The results showed that transformational leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction of educational staff, transformational leadership does not effect on performance of educational staff, job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance of educational staff and transformational leadership has a significant effect on performance through job satisfaction as a mediator of educational staff. Thus, job satisfaction can play a good role as a mediator. Applications of this study: Satisfaction has an important role in increasing work productivity which includes quantity and quality of work, timeliness of work, work effectiveness, independence, and commitment. Leaders in implementing a transformational leadership style must be accompanied by efforts to create a work environment that supports the realization of the job satisfaction of its employees. Regardless of employee job satisfaction, the leader’s transformational leadership style will be in vain. Novelty: To the best of our knowledge, research on job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the effect of transformational leadership on the performance of educational staff is still rarely done both in Indonesia and abroad. Previous studies only positioned job satisfaction as an independent variable that affects performance and not as a mediator variable. This study focuses on job satisfaction as a mediator the effect of transformational leadership on the performance of educational staff.

This study aimed to examine the effect of transformational leadership style, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on Account Representative performance of KPP Pratama Magelang. This study was quantitative research using primary and secondary data sources. The data collection method used an online questionnaire in the form of a statement with a Likert scale and sampling used purposive sampling technique. Processing of data analysis techniques used IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and data analysis methods used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the transformational leadership style did not be proven to have an effect on the Account Representative performance of KPP Pratama Magelang. Organizational commitment had a significant positive effect on the Account Representative’s performance and job satisfaction also had a significant positive effect on the Account Representative’s performance. The last, transformational leadership style, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction simultaneously had a significant positive effect on Account Representative performance of KPP Pratama Magelang.

This research aims to analyze and find out the influence of transformational leadership style toward organizational effectiveness through decision making.This research is causality (cause and effect) by using a quantitative approach. The object of research is permanent employees at PT Bank Jatim Cabang Utama Surabaya, the number of population are 71 employees and 61 employees as numbered of samples, sampling techniques by using simple random sampling technique. Statistical analysis by using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 1.0. The results showed that the effect of transformational leadership style has positive and significant influence toward organizational effectiveness, leadership transformational style has positive and significant effect toward decision making, decision- making has positive and significant effect toward organizational effectiveness, transformational leadership style has positive and significant effect toward organizational effectiveness through decision making.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of transformational leadership style on employee job satisfaction through employee empowerment as a mediating variable. The number of samples taken were 52 employees of DevinSky Hotel Seminyak who had worked for at least 3 years. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS). On the results of the analysis it was found that the transformational leadership style variable had a significant positive effect on employee satisfaction at DevinSky Hotel Seminyak, the transformational leadership style variable had a significant positive effect on employee empowerment, the employee empowerment variable had a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction, employee empowerment mediated the effect of transformational leadership style to the job satisfaction of DevinSky Hotel Seminyak employees. Employee job satisfaction is an important factor that can determine organizational productivity, and organizations need to pay attention to this pivotal aspect. This study aimed to empirically examine the role of transformational leadership styles and employability on employee job satisfaction. The participants of this study are 49 university teachers at the University of X Yogyakarta. The sampling is randomly chosen using a simple random sampling technique. In addition, data are collected using the scale of job satisfaction, the scale of transformational leadership style, and scale of employability. The data are then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that 1) Simultaneously, transformational leadership style and employability provide a very significant role in influencing job satisfaction with p=0.000 (p0.01); 2) Partially transformational leadership style provide a significant role on job satisfaction with p=0.019 (p0.05); 3) Partially there was a very significant role of employability on job satisfaction with p=0.000 (p0.01). Transformational leadership style and employability contribute 52.5% to job satisfaction. Employability contributed more dominantly to job satisfaction (35.8%) than the transformational leadership style (16.7%).

This study aims to determine and analyze the contribution of transformational leadership styles and organization policy on employee job satisfaction which has implications for organizational performance in the Athamara Group. Some of the problems on Athamara Group as one of the national shipping company in Indonesia, namely, the level of employee job satisfaction and organizational performance is still low. The research sampling technique used a saturated sample of 102 people. Descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis were used as the analysis method. The results of this study are from seven proposed hypotheses, six of which are accepted and one of the hypotheses have no significant effect on organizational performance. The indirect contribution of transformational leadership style to organizational performance is through employee job satisfaction, although employee job satisfaction has no significant contribution on organizational performance. Finally, organizational policy has an indirect contribution on organizational performance through employee job satisfaction. The indirect contribution of organizational policy to organizational performance is through employee job satisfaction, although employee job satisfaction has no significant contribution on organizational performance. The key funding, that transformational leaders will convey organizational policy properly and appropriately, so that they are easily understood and implemented by employees. This study aims at determing the effect transformational leadership style and  job satisfaction toward Organizational Citizenship Behavior of  employees Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kolaka.This research uses quantitative methods. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Looking at a relatively small population of 96 people, the researchers used population studies. Data analysis techniques used Structural Equation Model (SEM) assisted with SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) program. The results of the study concluded that the transformational leadership style and  job satisfaction variables affect the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of employees at the Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kolaka

This research was conducted with the aim of testing the variable job satisfaction that mediated the effect of transformational leadership styles on employee performance in the food industry in Malang. The company guides each employee to improve their work performance. Leadership and satisfaction in work perceived by employees are considered to have a good impact on improving employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. In this study using a saturated sample of 80 respondents were employees who were workers in food industry companies. The tool analysis in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study, it was found that transformational leadership style and job satisfaction had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and job satisfaction was able to mediate a positive relationship between transformational leadership scores on employee performance in the food industry in Malang.

Affective commitment is a commitment that comes from within and it needs quite some time to develop. Organizations need to ensure that their employees have strong affective commitment. Transformational leadership style can help employees to feel valued and develop strong commitment. On the other hand the positive atmosphere inside the organization will also enrich the positive experience of employees which in the end will increase the affective commitment. This study analyses the effect of transformational leadership and job satisfaction on employee’s affective commitment. We study one of the state companies in Medan using 72 participants. The explanatory method and path analysis are used to explain relationships and influences between variables. The results of the study prove that transformational leadership style and job satisfaction simultaneous and partial have effects in improving the quality of employee affective commitment. Business organizations need to apply transformational leadership styles and develop human resources program that can enhance job satisfaction. By carefully focus on these two elements, the organization is expected to be able to increase employee affective commitment. Keywords—Transformational Leadership, Job satisfaction, Affective Commitment Abstrak Komitmen afektif adalah komitmen yang muncul dari dalam diri sendiri dan dibangun seiring berjalannya waktu. Organisasi perlu memastikan bahwa karyawan mereka memiliki komitmen afektif yang kuat. Unsur kepemimpinan khususnya yang bersifat transformasional diyakini dapat membuat karyawan merasa dihargai dan pada akhirnya memiliki komitmen yang kuat. Di samping itu, suasana dalam organisasi yang menyenangkan akan memperkaya pengalaman positif karyawan yang juga berdampak pada peningkatan komitmen afektif. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepuasan kerja terhadap terbentuknya komitmen afektif karyawan di salah satu perusahaan negara di Medan. 72 Responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Metode eksplanatori dan analisis jalur digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh simultan dan parsial terhadap peningkatan kualitas komitmen afektif karyawan. Organisasi bisnis perlu mengaplikasikan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional serta mengembangkan program sumberdaya manusia yang bisa meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Dengan mengoptimalkan kedua unsur ini, organisasi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan komitmen afektif karyawan. Kata kunci—Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Afektif

Human resource development programs need to be created systematically and sustainably to produce future-ready talents. As part of the efforts to optimize human resources management within the company, one of the ways the company takes is by increasing employee satisfaction in carrying out its duties. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of human resource management practices and policies, transformational leadership style on job satisfaction. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 235 employees of PT. X. The type of data used is primary data using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS 22 program tools. The results of this study are expected to be used as an evaluation material for human resource management practices and policies that have been implemented by the company, in order to make improvements to aspects that are still complaints and make employees feel dissatisfied when working such as job placements that aren’t according to capacity, the balance of the weight of the work given, the assessment system to the problem of the compensation system or its achievement which aims to create job satisfaction and employee comfort at work.
