Abstract The study aims to evaluate of english learning at the Junior High School 3, Samaturu Kolaka. The method used is evaluative through the flow of the gap model (discrepancy evaluation model). Data collection through interviews, document tracing, and observation. Key Informant is the principal, teacher, and student. The results showed that: (1). The ten indicators of the principles in the preparation of lesson plan is only a contemporary-oriented indicator that is not contained in the lesson plan. This is because lesson plan is based on teaching materials and teaching materials. In addition, the lesson plan does not promote social, spiritual attitudes and only focus on English language teaching materials. Because of social and spiritual attitudes are hidden curriculum and can be applied to all subjects. Even the development of character is a program of Junior High School 3, Samaturu Kolaka. (2). All step-by-step indicators in lesson plan preparation are already loaded inside the lesson plan. But there is still an unprecedented indicator such as determining a monotonous learning strategy and not self-evaluation for the teacher to improve the strategy, and its teaching method. (3). Several indicators of lesson plan implementation have been carried out well in the classroom even though it is not maximized. This is due to preliminary activities, the teacher does not explain the importance of the material to be studied and competencies that students must master. The conclusion is related to the principles, application of steps and implementation of lesson plan in the classroom, although not maximized, but has been referring to Permendikbud no. 103 year 2014 about learning on primary education and secondary education.   Keywords: Evaluation, Lesson Plan, English Learning

The study aims to evaluation the lesson plan of english language learning. This research was conducted at the Junior High School, Seraphine Bakti Utama West Jakarta. The research methodology used is evaluative through the flow of the gap model (discrepancy evaluation model). Data collection through interviews, document tracing, and observation. Key informant is the principal, teacher, and student. The results showed that: (1). The use of the lesson plan drafting principles occurs a negative (-) gap that resides in the quadrant (-2) because it earns a value of 40%, particularly on the full aspects of the basic competency of spiritual attitudes, attitudes Knowledge and skills, centered on students, context, kinship, feedback and alignment. (2). The implementation of lesson plan preparation of the (+) gap occurred at the Quadrant (2) because it gained a value of 60%, especially in the aspect of syllabus assessment, and the development of learning assessments. (3). In the implementation of lesson plan there is a negative positive (-) gap that resides in the quadrant (-2) because it has a value of 40%, especially in the introduction of activities, core activities and closures. In conclusion, the preparation of lesson plan should refer to Permendikbud No. 103 year 2014 about learning in primary education and secondary education.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi program pembelajaran IPA SMP di Kabupaten Bone Bolango berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik  Indonesia Nomor 65 Tahun 2013 tentang Standar Proses Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi  dengan model Countenace Stake. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran IPA termasuk kategori cukup (68%), ditemukan belum adanya kesesuaian antara RPP dengan standar proses pembelajaran; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA termasuk kategori cukup (57%), belum adanya kesesuaian antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan standar proses pelaksanan pembelajaran; dan (3) hasil belajar peserta didik belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dengan aktualitas ketercapaian 65% kategori cukup. 4) terdapat contingency antara perencanaan, pelaksanaan dengan hasil belajar IPA, yang perencanaan pembelajaran dengan kategori yang cukup menyebabkan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran belum sesuai standar proses sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik belum memenuhi KKM. This study used Stake’s Countanance evaluation model. The data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The conclusion was: (1) the planning of science learning was categorized fair (68%), it was found that lesson plan was not in accordance with the learning processing standard. (2) The implementation of science learning was categorized fair (57%), that unconformitted with learning processing implementation standard. (3) Student learning outcomes have not met the completeness of minimum criteria (KKM) that categorized enough (65%) and (4) There were the contingency of planing learning proces and outcome. This study was conducted to increase the understanding on movement system concept at Junior High School.This study belongs to pre-experimental using One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Subjects of the research were 32 students. Analysis of research data is carried out descriptive quantitatively. Result of this study shows that: (1) lesson plan gets average score of 3.72 which is categorized as excellent; (2) Normalized Gain Score  is 0.71; and (3) students response positively; 98,74% of students state they are pleased with this teaching model, 96,88% state it is new for them, 98,75% state it is easyto do, 98,13% state their agreement, and 91% request the application of this model on the following lessons; and (4) the highest learning activity is reading teaching material, of 22,85% students. As a conclusion from this research is that quiz team model of teaching is applicable to increase the understanding on movement system concept at Junior High School.

AbstractStudents’ language attitude is one of important things to be successful in language learning process. Student’s attitude is classified into: cognitive, behavior and emotional aspect of attitude. The purpose of this research is to identify students’ attitude toward English language learning in a junior high school. This research employed survey research specifically in Junior High School X with 158 students as research participants. The researcher collect the data by using “Behavior Cognitive Emotional Attitude (BCEA) questionnaire consisting 45 items with five point-likert scale from level 1 to 5. The data were analyzed by using SPSS and Microsoft excel. The findings show that Behavior Aspect of Attitude (BAA) Mean=3.304641; SD=0.815134, Cognitive Aspect of Attitude (CAA) Mean= 3.579747 ; SD=0.829148, Emotional Aspect of Attitude (EAA) Mean: 3.457384 SD: 0.83255 which means students’ in Junior High School X have positive attitude toward English learning.Keywords: Students’ Attitude, Language Learning, Behavior, Cognitive, Emotional.

This study aims to know whether teaching materials developed were valid and practical at the triangle of material through PMRI in junior high school. The research began by interviewing teachers in SMPN 2 Bengkulu city was obtained information that in mathematics on triangular material still has difficulty at understanding the concept. The teaching material developed in this study was in the student books, teacher books and lesson plan (RPP). Development of this resource referred to the mode of development of 4-D (four-D) that was Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. However, this study was only done until the stage of development (development) only. At the defining stage has been done as much as five steps of the activity. At the design stage, researchers prepared a prototype by designing instructional materials in the form of books developed through PMRI.Keywords  :Teaching materials, Triangle, PMRI

Two major objectives are targeted in this research, method applied in English language teaching and how to implement the method. The research was conducted at State Junior High School 1 in Kalikajar in 2015. The subjects of this research were three English teachers at the school. The data for this research were collected through document, classroom observation, and interview. The result revealed the method claimed by the teachers were Total Physical Response (TPR) and Presentation, Practice, Production (PPP). Methods written on the lesson plan were categorized onto none implemented, partially implemented, and fully implemented in the teaching process. Findings shows that what was written on the lesson plan was not always implemented in the English language teaching and learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika untuk sekolah menengah pertama yaitu kurikulum Silabus, Rencana Pembelajaran dan Lembar Kerja Siswa 2013 tentang statistik dan probabilitas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan oleh Borg dan Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono (2008) melalui langkah-langkah: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi desain; (5) revisi desain; (6) uji coba kelompok kecil; (7) revisi produk; (8) uji coba kelompok besar; (9) revisi produk. Pada tahap potensi dan masalah, para peneliti melakukan analisis potensi dan masalah. Kemudian, peneliti mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan sebagai referensi untuk desain perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang akan dikembangkan. Desain perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh tiga validator dan direvisi berdasarkan saran validator. Hasil perancangan perangkat pembelajaran kemudian diujicobakan dalam uji coba kelompok kecil yang subjeknya 8 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. Setelah dicoba dalam uji coba kelompok kecil, kemudian direvisi berdasarkan kuesioner dari siswa yang mengikuti uji coba kelompok kecil. Setelah itu, para peneliti melakukan uji coba dalam kelompok besar yang subjeknya adalah 39 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, direvisi lagi dan disempurnakan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan diskusi data, perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan valid yang nilai untuk Silabus adalah 3,39, rata-rata nilai untuk 5 Rencana Pelajaran adalah 3,41. Nilai rata-rata untuk 5 Lembar Kerja Siswa adalah 3,34. Lembar Kerja Siswa yang telah dikembangkan adalah persyaratan praktis yang memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan oleh siswa sekolah menengah pertama.   This research aimed to develop mathematics learning device for junior high school that are Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Students Worksheet curriculum 2013 on statistics and probability by used problem based learning model. This research use development model by Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono (2008) through the steps : (1) potentials and problems; (2) data collection; (3) design product; (4) validation of design; (5) revision of design; (6) small group trial; (7) revision of product; (8) large group trial; (9) revision of product. At potentials and problems stage, the researchers conducted analysis of potentials and problems. Then, researchers collect the necessary data as reference to design of mathematics learning device that will be developed. Design of learning device that had been developed then validated by three validators and revised based on validator suggestion. The result of learning device design and then try out in small group trial which subjects are 8 students of VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. After try out in small group trial, then it revised based on questionnaire from the students who take the small group trial. After that, the researchers conducted try out in large group trial which subjects are 39 students of VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, revised again and refined. Based on result of data analysis and discussion, learning device that had been developed is valid which value for Syllabus is 3,39, the average of value for 5 Lesson Plan are 3,41. The average of value for 5 Students Worksheet are 3,34. Students Worksheet that had been developed is qualify practical requirement to used by students of junior high school.
