The Difference

MOOC, which refers to a large-scale open online course, is an "Internet + education" online course model emerging from the information society. The MOOC is different from the traditional curriculum model. It is not only for dozens of students, it is for thousands of students regardless of nationality or region. In recent years, in China, the MOOC course has received great attention. Through the analysis of Coursera's data, the number of registered users in China has increased sharply every year, far exceeding other countries in the world. In many higher education institutions in China, the study of the MOOC teaching model has become one of the key points of the teaching reform. The mixed teaching based on the MOOC has begun to be used in college English, ideology and politics, biochemistry, engineering, nursing, etc. In professional courses. This article discusses the mixed teaching practice based on MOOC. By analyzing the difference between mixed teaching and traditional teaching, it points out the key points and difficulties of mixed teaching in practice.

Teaching reform is an important part of addressing teaching standards in China in order to ensure quality in faculty performance and implementation of student outcomes is delivered at the highest degree of excellence in colleges and universities throughout China. This chapter makes a comprehensive investigation in the field of English teaching in 20 colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province. This chapter will focus on aspects of English teaching reform. The College English Test (CET) is a large-scale standardized test administered nationwide by the National College English Testing Committee on behalf of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education (MOE) in China. The chapter will describe the role CET 4 & 6, faculty, and scientific research played in the analysis of the findings. This chapter discusses progress in the field of teaching English, addresses challenges and makes appropriate recommendations.

Network system provide a good and open learning environment and a variety of learning methods for students. This paper studies the functions of network teaching system In order to meet the teaching goal of college English and cultivation of comprehensive application ability, aiming at solving the problems of traditional teaching. The article explains representation of the use case diagram, which is based on the main task of network teaching system. Design the use case diagram which includes the students and teachers, administrators, combining the main task of college English Network Teaching System. College English translation is a specialty for students’ all-around development in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Traditional “Duck-stuffing” method is only effective to teach students to listen and write, and even results in students’ rejection to learning oral English. With the traditional teaching method, students and teacher seldom interact with each other, and students are passive to absorb the content of courses, and no positive feedback on teaching, which impacts the teaching efficiency to a certain extent. In view of this, an SPOC teaching mode based on “rain classroom” was designed by combining rain classroom that is based on WeChat and intelligent teaching tools of multimedia with SPOC blended teaching and partitioning the whole learning process into stage before class, stage during class and stage after class, applied in College English translation course, and checked for the teaching efficiency to verify the effectiveness of SPOC teaching mode. Results show that the SPOC teaching mode based on “rain classroom” put forward herein has some effect on teaching reform of college English translation course.
