Aerobic exercise is a very popular form of exercise. It combines various forms of sports and music. Aerobic exercise improves muscle tone and relaxes the mind and body while burning calories. It is designed to individualize instruction for different audiences. It is an important factor in the applicability of the operation. The purpose of this paper is to build different human models based on sensor network numbers to quantify different movements through the Internet of Things (IoT) to design personalized curriculum design and practice to improve the popularity of creative aerobics curriculum. In this paper, we first give an overview of the algorithm and data fusion algorithm and then simulate the aerobics creative curriculum design. First, the variance is used as the error measure to establish the data fusion algorithm and aerobics new concept innovation curriculum design and practice. The established model is compared with the aerobics curriculum design under the traditional model to highlight the advantages of the curriculum design under the data fusion algorithm. A comparison is also made with examples. The experimental results show that the data of the audience’s movement changes during different creative processes solve the aerobics creative editing problem. Compared with the traditional curriculum design, the efficiency of the curriculum design and practice is improved by 20.23%.


The Harry Potter Series has found a place in the hearts of millions of children as well as adults across the globe. Hogwarts is the traditional boarding school which is situated in the faerie green countryside that is well beyond London. Though Hogwarts is a school in the fictional world, there are many people across the globe who have a relationship with it. We have developed a close affinity with Harry Potter, his friends as well as the teachers who are associated with the school. Students at the school learn to perfect the arts of witchcraft through a fixed curriculum. The school setting plays a significant role in the stories. The Harry Potter series persistently revolve around the protagonist’s heart rending and shocking adventures and experiences in school. The cornerstone for analysis is J.K Rowling’s portrayal of the teachers at Hogwarts. This leads to an emphasis on the teaching methods of the teachers. This paper has explored the pedagogy and different approaches of certain professors at Hogwarts. This study has demonstrated that students at Hogwarts do learn but their learning can be termed as wholesome only when teachers adopt the pedagogical approach that involves the concept of active learning integrated into a pleasant environment that not only boasts of cooperative learning, continuous support, but encourages and awards analytical thinking and risk taking. AbstractHumans have ambiguous relationships with fire. The ability to control fire has been part of shaping human development and human society as well as the characteristics of Australian ecosystems, but bushfire is also a threat to all forms of life. The chemical process of combustion is also complicit in the Anthropocene and climate change, which threatens life as we know it. The current Australian curriculum generally ignores fire, and this needs reconfiguring. In this chapter we disrupt the traditional curriculum and argue for becoming-with fire as a pyro-pedagogy for teaching and learning with this unruly kin.

The activities of law enforcement officers are characterized by significant psycho-emotional and physical stress. Therefore, a high level of physical preparedness and psychophysiological characteristics are an important component in the structure of preparedness of cadets in higher education institutions with specific training conditions that train police officers. Research aimed at finding of effective ways of their improvement is relevant. Experts note the importance of studying the impact of different sports on the preparedness of cadets. We conducted a study of the indicators of the preparedness of the cadets who during the year of study were engaged in the program "Special Physical Training" without attending sectional classes. We compared their results with the results of the cadets who trained in the kickboxing section. The results show that the traditional curriculum of the discipline "Special Physical Training" effectively contributes to the improvement of the physical preparedness (endurance, muscle strength). The process of the improving of the psychophysiological characteristics (simple reaction to sound and visual stimuli, choice reaction, reaction to a moving object) in the educational process of "Special Physical Training" needs to be optimized. Sectional martial arts (kickboxing) classes are an effective means of extracurricular activities of the cadets. They help to increase their physical fitness and psychophysiological characteristics.

Objectives: Our medical school followed the traditional curriculum earlier, and due to a large amount of content embedded in each discipline, which had less scope for active and deep learning. To overcome this, we adopted an integrated curriculum and introduced a few active teaching/learning (T/L) methodologies, which promote deep learning and problem-solving skills. One such T/L methodology we introduced was team-based learning (TBL). Before implementing this active T/L methodology in the integrated curriculum, we evaluated the effectiveness of TBL in medical students from the traditional curriculum and aimed to determine students’ perceptions. Furthermore, we aimed to explore the perception of TBL in students who underwent integrated curriculum to evaluate the difference in their perception compared to the traditional curriculum. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in RAK Medical and Health Sciences University on the 1st year medical students from the traditional and integrated curriculum. Institutional ethical committee clearance and informed consent were obtained before starting the study. A pre-validated 5-item survey questionnaire comprising questions related to the content, process, and teamwork was used to obtain perceptions of students’ on TBL. Results: The students positively perceived the teaching-learning experience using TBL and understood the concepts better. Even the students with integrated curriculum had the same positive impact on their learning attitudes. The majority of students in both cohorts agreed that discussion among their teams helped them to learn better. Around two-thirds (66%) of students from the traditional curriculum and one-third (39%) of students from integrated curriculum wanted TBLs as T/L methodology over didactic lectures. Conclusion: TBL helped to learn better and understand the subject and promoted self and peer engagement, which facilitated their learning by clarifying the doubts with peers. Due to this positive TBL experience, most students from both curriculums recommended its use as a T/L method over lecture. Hence, TBL sessions in medical schools can be used as an effective T/L method to facilitate meaningful learning.

Background: Despite ultrasound being an inherent part of medical education, only a few German medical schools have established a comprehensive ultrasound curriculum. This study aimed to explore medical students' perspectives on ultrasound in medical education (USMed).Results: Between January 1st, 2019 und June 30th, 2019, an online survey was conducted among German medical students via the students' associations and their respective teaching facilities. The survey consisted of 17 items regarding USMed. Statements were rated on a 4-point Likert scale for agreement. In total, 1040 students from 31 German medical faculties participated. The majority (1021, 98.2%) reported a very high to high interest in curricular USMed. Students agreed (n = 945, 90.9%) that USMed would be helpful along their entire course of medical studies. Considering the best starting time for USMed, the opinions of German medical students diverged: students studying in a model curriculum preferred to start in the second year (40.7%) while 49% of the students studying in a traditional curriculum preferred to start in the third year (p ≤ 0.001). An insufficient allotment of time for USMed in the planned curriculum (675, 65%) and a lack of courses run by medical faculty (305, 29.4%) were listed as perceived significant barriers to the participation in USMed. Peer teaching was regarded as an effective method in realizing USMed by 731 (70.3%) students.Conclusion: German medical students are very interested and willing to participate in USMed. There appears to be a high demand for US courses offered by medical schools.

Background: Curriculum maps outline the content of an educational program identifying links between targeted outcomes, educational opportunities, and assessments. The transition to Competence by Design (CBD) in Canadian specialty residency programs requires thoughtful reorganization of educational programming. A curriculum map may assist with understanding the existing curriculum and thereby facilitate planning for CBD. Methods: A map of the pediatric neurology residency curriculum at the University of Calgary was constructed by linking objectives with related learning activities and assessments. Qualitative line-by-line analysis was then conducted to identify gaps in the existing curriculum. The map was used as a framework to plot CBD outcomes and curricular structure as these were established. Results: Generating the traditional curriculum map was time-consuming, requiring 48 hours. Careful review identified several objectives that did not link to formal learning activities or assessments. Many such gaps were recognized to link to non-clinical activities. Using the scaffold of the traditional curriculum reduced the time required for mapping the planned CBD curriculum to 4 hours. Conclusions: The creation of a curriculum map prior to transition to CBD improved understanding of the existing curriculum and will facilitate transition to CBD. Ongoing evaluation of the fit of our predicted CBD map will support effective implementation.

Experts note that the indicators of sensorimotor reactions are one of the most accessible and, at the same time, quite accurate neurophysiological indicators that reflect the dynamics of nervous processes, motor coordination, overall performance and activity of the central nervous system in various fields. Research aimed at the finding of the effective ways to improve them is relevant. We conducted a study of psychophysiological characteristics in 2 groups of cadets during the first academic year. The first group of cadets trained in the course of the discipline "Special Physical Training". The cadets of the second group were engaged in "Special physical training", and also during the academic year trained in sections of game sports (football and volleyball). The results show that the traditional curriculum of the discipline "Special Physical Training" in higher education institutions with specific training conditions that train police officers is not effective enough to improve the performance of sensorimotor reactions of cadets. In the group of cadets, who did not train in sports sections, we did not find a significant improvement of the psychophysiological characteristics. The results indicate the feasibility of using sectional classes of game sports (football, volleyball) as a means of improving the efficiency of the process of training.

Medical science is one of the sectors which has faced rapid advancement in the past few years. But sadly, medical schools are still following the traditional curriculum where a wide gap between the pre-clinical and clinical phases prevails. Early clinical exposure is known to act as a bridge to this gap. It contributes to the overall development of naive medical students enhancing their communication skills, clinical skills, teamwork, empathy development, and motivation towards selfdirected learning and hence making them more competent for clinical years. So, as it reinforces the conventional didactic teaching-learning method it becomes a much-needed part for the students in preclinical years.
