The aim of this research is to investigate the mental well-being levels of individuals who are educated in university preparatory classes according to different variables. In the research, a descriptive screening model has been used. The study group consists of male and female participants in preparatory classes at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University in the 2019-2020 academic year. To evaluate the Mental Well-Being level, "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher and the data of the research, "Mental Well-Being Scale", a scale -original name being "Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale" -developed by Tennant and his fellows (2007) adapted to Turkish by Keldal (2015) was used. Independent Samples T Test for frequency distributions, normality analyses and binary group comparisons, and one way ANOVA test for more than two group comparisons were conducted to provide descriptive information about the participants. As a result, there has been no significant difference in the answers given to questions such as gender, age and division variables, number of close friends, who help you the most when you encounter a problem, which sport branch you are engaged in, who encouraged you to exercise, how long you spend on your daily workouts, and specify some of your reasons to exercise. Organizational Commitment Scale, consisting of 18 questions, developed by Meyer and Allen (1997), adapted to Turkish by Varol (2010) and Scale of Turnover Intentions developed by Rosin and Korabik (1995), adapted to Turkish by Tanrıöver (2005) have been carried out on 143 academics chosen via random sampling method in this relational screening model research.  The result of the research has shown that sub-dimension of Emotional Commitment of academics’ constitutes the core element and intention to leave is low.  Variables of gender and marital status are found to have no effect on the relationship between organizational commitment and intention to leave. On the other hand, academics with an administrative role display a meaningful difference. In regards to the correlation results within the scales, there is a negative and mid-level relationship between emotional commitment level and intention to leave, and a negative and low-level relationship between the level of normative commitment and case of employment.

This study investigated the relationship between teachers' educational beliefs and their perceptions about school climate. The study was designed as a correlational survey model. The sample included 357 teachers working in the central districts of Van province in 2019-2020 academic year. "Educational Beliefs Scale" and "School Climate Scale" were used as data collection tools. Correlational and regression analyses were carried out to explore the relationships among the study variables. According to the results, teachers' beliefs about contemporary philosophical approaches were strong. In terms of teachers' perceptions of school climate, all scores were close to each other, but higher scores were found in directive and supportive school climates. Results concerning the relationship between education beliefs and school climate showed that teachers having progressivist and existentialist education beliefs saw their schools as more supportive and directive while teachers having a reconstructionist educational philosophy perceived their schools as more directive and restrictive. Teachers adopting a perennialist educational belief interestingly described their schools as more supportive, directive and intimate. As expected, teachers who follow essentialist beliefs in education regarded their schools as more restrictive in terms of climate. The results of the study indicated that teachers' philosophical beliefs about education were, although at a low level, a significant predictor of their perception of school climate.

Additionally, 11 question “Coach-Athlete Relationship Scale” developed by Jowett & Ntoumanis (2004) and adapted to Turkish by Altıntaş et al. (2012) and 12 question “Athlete Passion Scale” developed by Vallerand et al. (2003) and adapted to Turkish by Kelecek & Aşçı (2013) was applied. To evaluate the obtained data SPSS 20 package program was used and percentage (%), frequency (f), Kruskal Wallis test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. There was a positive relationship between the coach-athlete relationship and its sub-dimensions of commitment, closeness and complementarity and also between the passion for sports and its sub-dimensions of harmonious passion and obsessive passion. Besides, the regression analysis has shown that the coach-athlete relationship has a relatively high impact on the passion for sports. In other words, as the effectiveness and quality of the coach-athlete relationship increase, so does "passion", which is one of the most important motivation sources for the athletes. At the end of our research it was found that, the coach-athlete relationship was at high level. As a result, there is a relationship between coach-athlete relationship and sport passion.

The aim of this study is to investigate the use of PowerPoint at Annaba Higher School of Management Sciences Algeria with 2nd year Master Class students. The authors have tried to find out how PowerPoint is used and whether the students are satisfied with the way it is used at this school. The other task is to investigate to what extent the pedagogical features such as concentration, grasping and eagerness for learning are affected by the use of PowerPoint as a teaching tool. To conduct this investigation, the questionnaire as a research tool has been used. The questionnaire is made up of three sections: personal information, the board use and PowerPoint use. The number of questions included in this questionnaire is 18. Eight questions in the section related to the board use and ten questions in the section related to PowerPoint use. The study has taken place in the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year from October 2019 to January 2020 at Annaba Higher School of Management Sciences Algeria. The results of this investigation have revealed that the classical way of teaching such as the use of the board instead of PowerPoint is preferred by this research population. This study has shown that the pedagogical features like motivation, concentration and grasping are higher with the modules where the teachers use the board more than with the modules where the teachers use PowerPoint as a teaching tool. The findings of the study show that the way PowerPoint is used in this school with this research population carries various drawbacks and this what might hinder educational and pedagogical success.

The prevalence of nomophobia is growing among adolescents. This study aimed to disentangle the relationship between nomophobia, the fear of missing out, time spent on the phone, sex, and social alienation. Participants, who were 595 students (313 females and 282 males) attending high school during the 2019–2020 academic year, filled out personal information forms and a series of scales involving nomophobia, the fear of missing out, and social alienation. Then, data were analyzed through a moderated mediation analysis. The results showed that the bivariate correlation was significant but not the direct effect of gender on nomophobia; still, other direct effects were significant. The partial indirect effect of the fear of missing out on nomophobia was only significant for females when social alienation was controlled for. In the model where nomophobia was the outcome model, the power values for the time spent on the phone and its interaction with sex were low but high for other factors. Furthermore, the effect size was small for the model where the mediator was the outcome and high for the model that had nomophobia as the outcome. Thus, it is crucial to consider that the motives underlying the fear of missing out and nomophobia differ between the sexes in planning interventions.
