It is known that the huge computing resources of modern computers are used primarily to solve problems that arise in various applied areas in the process of mathematical modeling of real objects. The aim of this study is to present  a theoretical justification of the need to train informatics future teacher in the field of computational informatics and to develop a methodology for teaching him/her in the context of the development of modern education. The competence-based and contextual approaches to teaching and the concept of pedagogical education funding are used in the research. The necessity of training future informatics teacher in the field of computational informatics has been justified and a methodology for teaching it based on web quests has been developed and experimentally tested. The implementation of the developed methodology for teaching computational informatics on the basis of modern educational technology web-quest will equip him/her with the necessary knowledge and ensure the development of his/her information and computational competence..                                                                                                                                                                                Key words: training of informatics teacher, competence-based approach in teaching, computational informatics, information and computational competence, digitalization of education

Annotation. The activity approach to organization of study in the profession- al training of specialists represents the individualized training technique. This article makes the insight into the activity issue. The activity is considered as a way of person’s participation in transformation of existing reality, as a way of learning, as a condition for personality demonstration and development, as a condition for building relations be- tween people. The functions of the activity are immediately associated with not only de- signing activity but with development of the personality. The questionnaire of teachers and directors of Latvia schools was carried out in order to evaluate the situation of ICT in schools and the attitude of school pedagogues toward this process. The results of the questionnaire showed that supply of schools with modern ICT in Latvia is not sufficient. The respondents expressed their views: what are the main obstacles of effective implementation of ICT in the study process and what are the priority challenges in the implementation of ICT in schools. Why do some science teachers successfully integrate technology into their teaching while others fail? To address this question, educational researchers have conducted a growing body of research focused on technology integration into classrooms. Researchers are studying everything from teachers’ philosophical approaches to teaching that influence efforts at technology integration to classroom-level barriers that impact technology integration. Findings indicate that while some teachers fail in utilizing technology due to the personal and classroom barriers they experience, others eagerly work to overcome the barriers and achieve technology integration. In this case, Mr. Bransford, a novice science teacher who has incorporated technology into his classroom practices within his first five years of teaching, is discussed. Mr. Bransford teaches 8th grade Earth Science using a range of educational technology tools. The barriers he has faced, his strategies to overcome those barriers, and his technology enriched classroom practices are presented.

Teaching FFL lexicology: opening new approaches The main aim of this paper is to show major problems of modern lexicology as well as to improve the teaching of lexicology at the university by taking into account new theories that appeared at the end of the 20th century. Modern education requires the introduction of new terminology such as eponymy, enantiosemy, meronymy, etc., and the revision of the so-called classical theories and themes such as polysemy, semantic evolution, word formation or borrowing. It is also essential to introduce several topics and approaches including, above all, field theory, connotation theory, the problem of the concept, cognitive semantics, prototype theory and stereotype theory, linguistic and cultural aspects, semantic universals, etc. We seek to identify the main problems posed by the study of French vocabulary, to show the development of theories and lexical approaches during the 20th and the 21st centuries. It is thought that students should be provided with information on the new orientations and methods existing in contemporary linguistics, primarily semiotic, cognitive, discursive and contrastive, even if presented in different or even contradictory versions. At the same time, an overview of lexicology textbooks shows that several rather well-known phenomena remain on the margins of study; these include calques, international words, occasionalisms, semantic archaisms, etc. Therefore, adequate definitions of terms and their use, precise identification of their peculiarities within relevant paradigms in contemporary studies of lexicology are indispensable. Key words: lexicology; French; teaching; approach; theory of the word.
