The article is discussed («Review of psychiatry and medical psychology named after V.M. Bekhterev». 2020; 2: 3-15), which examines the biopsychosocial model as the theoretical basis (scientific, clinical, preventive, therapeutic) of modern psychiatry, in particular, the biological (genetic) domain. The purpose of the discourse: from the standpoint of philosophy and methodology of science, to determine the place of the biological domain (biomedical research) of the biopsychosocial (biopsychosocial—spiritual) (BPS) approach (theory) in Russian psychiatry, in particular, from the standpoint of the subject of psychiatry and its main section-clinical psychiatry.Based on methodology and philosophy, and based on anthropological and holistic approaches, the biological domain of the BPS model, which is based on clinical psychiatry as a practice and, accordingly, theory, is discussed through the subject of psychiatry as a science. The significance and role of the subject of psychiatry (pathology, disorders, abnormalities of mental activity) in the ICD-10 and the components of the biopsychosocial (model) approach are discussed. There are differences in the domains of the model and the difficulties of clinical diagnosis (multi-axis, functional, multidimensional) and, accordingly, the study of the etiopathogenesis of mental disorders, the "bias" of diagnosis and therapy. The article deals with the neurological component of the biological domain and the "expansion" of neurologists into psychiatry, which leads to hidden antipsychiatry. The author emphasizes the independence, contiguity and two-paradigm nature of psychiatry as a science (with its own unity of subject and its own method of research—clinical and psychopathological). In addition to the interdisciplinarity of clinical neuroscience, it is proposed to be multidisciplinary (for the sections of psychiatry), but the future belongs to the transdisciplinary research methodology.

This paper explores how abstract concepts of alignment, such as moving between different levels of attention, were made visible and concrete in a case study carried out in the context of nature tourism. The alignment practices were mapped from a design research project, where the aim was to construct and explore a prototype of future culture based on care and awareness-based co-creation. The paper combines literature form care ethics and ontology of becoming to support the alignment concepts form awareness-based systems change approach, Theory U. In addition, the collaborative and dialogical tradition of constructive design research is being introduced as a potential sense-making approach to explore the deeper meanings of experiences and events in the development process together with local stakeholders. Later, the research findings are discussed in the light of the individual and collective capacity building needs, which aim to change our inner mindset and posture of being and becoming with the world. Finally, the paper argues that the potential for change and the choice to bring about that change can be found within us as a willingness and readiness to re-invent ourselves in every moment, every encounter, and interaction.

Aim. The presented study aims to substantiate the content of the problem of improving the strategic planning of production and implementation of cloud software products (CSPs).Tasks. The author analyzes the demand for cloud software products from the strategic perspective; analyzes the theoretical foundations of strategic planning; substantiates major enterprise goals in the development of SCPs in accordance with the goals and objectives of the national projects of the Russian Federation and the needs of user enterprises; classifies informatization enterprises engaged in the development of SCPs, making it possible to conduct a comparative audit of enterprises engaged in SCP development; develops the concept of strategic planning for informatization enterprises engaged in the development and implementation of SCPs.Methods. This study uses strategic planning tools, statistical analysis of the development of digitalization enterprises based on cloud software products, the systems approach, theory of the efficiency of strategic planning of SCP development and implementation, theory of emergence in the assessment of the activities of an interconnected chain of cloud digitalization enterprises, mechanisms for coordinating economic interests based on the theory of collective decision-making.Results. The pace of cloud digitalization of the Russian economy is insufficient and requires scientific, methodological, and government support. Well-known theoretical and methodological studies of strategic planning do not make allowance for the specific aspects of the activities of enterprises engaged in the production and implementation of SCPs and need to be further developed in this direction. The existing classification of SCPs does not fully meet the objectives of the national projects of the Russian Federation and the requirements of user enterprises. Enterprises engaged in the development and implementation of SCPs are classified to enable audit of the quality of their activities. The author proposes an original concept of improving the strategic planning of enterprises engaged in the development and implementation of SCPs.Conclusions. Resolving the issues identified by the author is an important national economic objective for improving the strategic planning of the activities of informatization enterprises engaged in the development and implementation of SCPs. Solving this problem is key to increasing the economic efficiency of both informatization enterprises and SCP user enterprises in the context of cloud information systems, improving the efficiency of digitalization of the country’s economy as a whole.

This study was aimed to identify and analyze the meaning and message in several sentences found in the novel Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon published in 1980. The selected sentences in the novel, which are the data of this study, were collected by applying the documentation method and note-taking technique which then were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative method. The data were presented informally in descriptive form. This study analyzes the types of meaning based on the theory proposed by Leech (1974) and the messages of the novel based on the biographical approach theory by Wellek and Warren (1962). As a result, all the seven types of meaning, namely connotative meaning, conceptual meaning, affective meaning, stylistic meaning, reflected meaning, collocative meaning, and thematic meaning, were found in the novel. In relation to the message of the novel, based on the biographical approach, there were five messages that the author delivered.

Different traditional Iranian art forms can be known as a single semantic recreation in different forms. All of them imply some shared concepts which are a mix of Persian and Islamic beliefs. These arts have a symbolic tone and the artist speaks through their art using the appropriate allegorical tools. In this field, the Kerman carpet should be known as an excellent manifestation of symbols and mysterious designs that are eloquently implemented on the carpet. The purpose of this study is the anthropological analysis of the symbols, designs, and patterns used in the Kerman carpet as well as the analysis of the Kermanian people's beliefs based on those designs and symbols. The research method used here is the Qualitative type and in the form of ethnographic, and also the information are collected using interview-participation and documents. The theoretical framework of this study is based on Clifford Geertz’s Symbolic-Interpretive Anthropology Approach theory. The findings of this study show that the Kerman carpet alongside its beauty and charm includes meaningful designs and patterns and these designs and symbols are derived from the geographical-cultural and social area and are connected with the everyday life, traditions, and beliefs of the people of their area.

History has shown that people who embody responsibility-focused power have been credibly accused of sexual harassment (SH). We seek to understand why. Drawing on Power-Approach Theory (Keltner et al., 2003) and moral licensing theory (Effron & Monin, 2010) we present two complementary studies examining how responsibility-focused power triggers moral licensing, which, in turn, decreases perceptions of SH (Study 1) and increases intentions to engage in SH (Study 2). In Study 1, 376 adults read scenarios of a man who embodies responsibility-focused power, egocentric power, or low power and then made moral crediting ratings (a form of moral licensing). Then they read a case where the man had been accused of SH. SH judgments against the responsibility-focused power holder, compared to others, were less severe, and several effects were mediated by moral crediting. In Study 2, 310 adults were primed to experience responsibility-focused power or low power. Responsibility-focused power increased SH intentions through effects on communal feelings and moral crediting. This research develops a new theoretical perspective on why SH occurs and why we deny perceiving it. We provide practical recommendations for abating the effects of power and moral licensing.

Abstract The mvClaim package in R provides flexible modelling frameworks for multivariate insurance claim severity modelling. The current version of the package implements a parsimonious mixture of experts (MoE) model family with bivariate gamma distributions, as introduced in Hu et al., and a finite mixture of copula regressions within the MoE framework as in Hu & O’Hagan. This paper presents the modelling approach theory briefly and the usage of the models in the package in detail. This package is hosted on GitHub at https://github.com/senhu/.
