<p>Educational infrastructure is essential in supporting the improvement of the quality of education in schools. This is because the existence of infrastructure facilities facilitate educational activities so that the educational process in schools is not hampered. Provision and maintenance of infrastructure in schools is the responsibility of all school stakeholders including the school committee. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of school committees in improving the quality of educational facilities in SMK 1 Karangan, East Kutai Regency. By using population techniques, there were 15 research subjects and committee members of the Karangan 1 SMKN East Kutai Regency. The research measure is the scale of the role of the school committee in improving educational infrastructure. The results showed that the influence of the school committee was very important in improving the quality of educational infrastructure, it can be shown from the Tstatistic of 11.756 which was greater than Ttable 2.1788, the value of Fstatistic is 138.389 that was greater than Ftable 4.67, and an R-square value of 0.914 or 91.4%. These results showed that the role of the school committee has a major effect on improving the quality of educational infrastructure.</p>

The role of the committee in improving the quality of education is that it is able to assist and coordinate with the school in order to continuously improve quality through the four roles it plays. With the establishment of good communication between the school and the school committee on how to improve the quality of schools, the facilities and infrastructure that support each Madrasah performance in improving quality will be realized. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the role of the School Committee in the effort to improve the quality at MI Ma'arif 03 Limbangan Cilacap. The aspects studied included the role of the School Committee as a provider of consideration, supporter, controller, and mediator. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is Field Research. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The instrument used was the researcher himself. The research subjects were the principal and the school committee. The object of the research was the role of the school committee in improving the quality of education. The data analysis process was carried out by data classification, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The technique of checking the validity of the data used triangulation of sources and methods.

AbstactThis paper examines the role of facilities and infrastructure in schools in supporting the quality of students. Besides teachers, facilities and infrastructure are an important part of being in school because they play an important role in supporting fluency or ease in the learning process. The relationship between facilities and infrastructure with the education process can be said that educational facilities and infrastructure can be defined as the process of collaborating the utilization of all educational facilities and infrastructure effectively and efficiently. Thus educational facilities and educational infrastructure are in their respective functions, namely: educational facilities to facilitate the delivery of teaching materials, in the sense of all kinds of equipment used by teachers and students to facilitate the delivery and acceptance of subject matter. While educational infrastructure is to facilitate the implementation of education in the sense of all kinds of equipment, equipment, and objects used by teachers and students to facilitate the implementation of learning activities in schools. Facilities and infrastructure also determine the quality of education in schools, which greatly affect students' ability to learn. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa disfungsi tugas komite sekolah sebagai penindaklanjut aspirasi masyarakat tidak mempengaruhi turunnya mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Hal ini karena perangkat pendidikan SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta sebagai sebuah sistem sosial bersifat otopoietik yang dapat memperbaharui ketidakberfungsian pada salah satu atau beberapa subsistem pendidikan. Since the enactment of decentralization of education, maximizing the role of school and community stakeholders has become very important in supporting the success of the education process in schools. The actualization form of education decentralization is realized by the existence of school committees which are expected to carry out their roles maximally in improving the quality of education. With the aspect seen, namely the role of the school committee as consideration, support, control, and role as mediator, the role is as a form of improving the quality of education in accordance with the mandate stated in the Minister of National Education Decree Number: 044 / U / 2002 dated April 2, 2002 Therefore, with regard to efforts to improve the quality of education, the government has actually issued a policy namely education autonomy. Educational autonomy as a form of education decentralization, gave birth to an important concept for the implementation of education. One of these important concepts is School-Based Management (SBM) which later gave birth to the School Committee as a manifestation of community participation in the world of education. The concept encourages school and community committees to become unified and complementary, and can even provide a color for the formulation of quality in schools. Society is an unequaled educational resource for education units. In community schools can be a foundation for improving and service quality education in the implementation of education.

This paper aims to describe the role of school committees in efforts to improve the quality of education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with in-depth interview data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis technique. The results showed that the role of the school committee was to improve quality, equity, and efficiency in the management of education in the education unit. Both in pre-school education, school education and out-of-school education. The dysfunction of the school committee's duties as a follow-up to community aspirations does not affect the decline in the quality of education. This is because the educational device as a social system is autopoietic which can renew the dysfunction in one or several educational subsystems. The purpose of this study is to see how the form of empowerment of school committees in improving the quality of education especially in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings The existence of a school committee is an important element in improving the quality of school education services, its existence with all the tasks and functions it has can play a role in realizing better quality education services. Efforts to empower school committees are carried out in various ways although they are still not ideal as stated in the regulations related to school committees. In principle, so far the participation of school committee members and the form of empowerment of school committees is still limited to routine meetings and the fulfillment of supporting facilities for student learning facilities that are done voluntarily by school committees. Based on this, the efforts to empower school committees have been made but are still limited to routine agendas that are not yet optimal as the actual duties and functions of school committees.

Abstrak—In the article discus about administration of educational facilities and infrstructure. Adminisration of educational facilities and infrastructure are all components or parts, either directly or indirectly support the course of the educational process that aims to achieve the objectives in education. In understanding the administration of facilities and infrastructure, the writer tries to know, understand and be able to conclude about the material written by the author, and for readers to have their own appeal in reading that has been written by the author. This goal is the author can sort and distinguish between facility facilities with educational infrastructure facilities. And the authors also know the process in this administration starting from planning to supervision and can find out the intentions and meanings contained in it. The role of teachers in the administration of facilities and infrastructure are: involved in the planning the procurement of teaching aids, involved in the use and maintenance of teaching aids used by teachers, as well as supervision in the use of practical tools by students.

The paper deals with the issues of improving the quality of education at the university. The role of the material and technical support of the educational process is emphasized. The possibilities of using the modern laboratory complex "Electricity and Magnetism" are shown when conducting educational research work of students in physics. The author gave an example of experimental research on the topic "Study of the Hall effect in semiconductors." The contribution of students' educational and research work to the formation of general professional competencies is noted.
