Covid-19 is a way for each educational institution to improve quality, processes, as well as facilities and infrastructure. The epidemic indirectly demands the education institution for adaptive and innovative new life accompanied by the development of information technology. The Ministry of Education and Culture has issued a curriculum policy for special conditions during the pandemic based on the circular regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 719 of 2020. In addition, the issue of freedom to study in primary and secondary education institutions has emerged since 2019. Through the locus of Senior High School al-Hikmah Boarding School Batu, the researchers explored the data regarding the design of an independent curriculum based on Islamic values implemented since 2019. The curriculum has relevance to the Covid-19 special conditions curriculum and can be used as a model for the Covid-19 curriculum based on Islamic values. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. While, the type of research is a case study with in-depth interview data collection, participatory observation, and documentation. It used an interactive data analysis through data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the independent curriculum of al-Hikmah Boarding School Batu has relevance to the link and match-based special conditions curriculum. In addition, the independent curriculum contributes to shaping the learners’ attitudes based on spiritual strength, nationalism, and mental leadership.

SMA Darussalam adalah lembaga pendidikan tingkat SLTA yang berada di bawah naungan Pondok Pesantren Darussalam. Dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di SMA tersebut terdapat hambatan yang dialami karena selain mayoritas siswa berasal dari kalangan Pondok Pesantren serta padatnya jadwal dari pondok sendiri tentunya menjadi faktor munculnya hambatan pembelajaran siswa maupun guru disekolah.Untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dialami guru maupun siswa Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan hambatan-hambatan yang dialami guru maupun siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA Darussalam. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan Conclution Drawing. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi tekhnik. Adapun hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat beberapa hambatan yang dialami guru biologi di SMA Darussalam diantaranya adalah salah memahami kekuatan kepribadian guru  dalam hal kedisiplinan memulai jam pelajaran masih kurang, pandangan pesimis yang dimiliki guru juga tampak, kurangnya media informasi dan terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Adapun hambatan yang dialami siswa diantaranya adalah aspek fisiologis, rendahnya tingkat intelegensi, hambatan dari segi sikap siswa juga terlihat karena siswa sering tidur di kelas dan faktor eksternal yang menghambat siswa juga tampak terlihat dalam aspek lingkungan non sosial khususnya pada lingkungan belajar yang kurang mendukung. Kata kunci: Hambatan  Guru, Hambatan Siswa, Pembelajaran Biologi. SMA Darussalam is a high school level educational institution under the auspices of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. In the learning process carried out in high school there are obstacles experienced because in addition to the majority of students coming from the Islamic boarding schools and the tight schedule from the boarding school itself, of course it is a factor in the emergence of learning barriers for students and teachers at school. To find out the obstacles experienced by teachers and students. is to describe the obstacles experienced by teachers and students in learning biology at SMA Darussalam. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data collection technique used observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was done by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. As for the results of the research that has been done, there are several obstacles experienced by biology teachers at SMA Darussalam, including the misunderstanding of the strength of the teacher's personality in terms of discipline in starting class hours is still lacking, the teacher's pessimistic view is also evident, the lack of information media and the limited facilities and infrastructure available. The obstacles experienced by students include physiological aspects, low levels of intelligence, barriers in terms of student attitudes are also seen because students often sleep in class and external factors that hinder students are also seen in non-social environmental aspects, especially in less supportive learning environments. The sophistication of technology and access to information in the twenty-first century pushed education providers to transform preparing students to face a more challenging future. Effective and relevant teaching and learning strategies are needed in biology learning to meet the needs of future generations. Therefore, this study aims to observe the biology learning process in one of senior high school. A qualitative research approach with an observation method was used in this study. This research was conducted in class X SMA N 1 Tanjung, Brebes, Central Java. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation check list, questionnaires, and interviews. Observation of the biology learning process carried out focused on the lesson plan document, learning process, and interviews as well as student and teacher questionnaires on the biology learning process. The data collection process was carried out 3 times. The results obtained from this study indicate that teachers already know the demands of the curriculum and the needs of the 21st century. This can be seen from the of lesson plans made by the teacher. However, other findings from this study are, the skills of teachers in implementing the lesson plan with discovery learning methods are still not optimal. Learning activities undertaken have not yet led to the provision of student skills needed in 21st century. This research is expected to be used as a reference for improving the process of learning biology

This research has the goal to the rise of ideology kiaiat State Senior High School (SMAN)Darussholah in the progress of the implementation of quality education organized by the government. There is avery dominant influence from outside that affects the process of the ongoing education. This study concludesthrough the analysis that the inclusion of ideology kiaiinterfere with the development of education in SMANDarussholah to become a professional educational institution. It is necessary for the role of government inproviding facilities and infrastructure to achieve professional education institutions. Likewise with the kiai byentering ideology kiai should be able to provide infrastructure such as dormitories and human resources toimprove the quality of education in the boarding school.

Islamic boarding school is one of Islamic educational institution that plays an active role in the formation of human noble morals. Specifically in the development and fostering of student morals in order to form virtuous souls and understand Islamic values well. The Islamic Boarding School of Darul Abrar also plays a role in fostering the morals and mentality of the students, like boarding schools in general and also has a vision and mission to be achieved, one of which is become a person who a morality, this is in line with the ultimate goal of life. This study aims to determine the variety of morals efforts to foster student at the Islamic Boarding School of Darul Abrar, Bone. The research methodology in this study is qualitative, and the data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that efforts to develop moral character of female students can be done by increasing the reading of the Qur’an, applying disciplinary methods of discipline, applying the valuesof the five souls that are a reference to the boarding school, conducting through learning and moral guidance through extracurricular activities.

Abstract: In facing the challenges of an increasingly liberal era, many Islamic boarding schools form public schools by applying them together to give birth to generations who master the science of religion and knowledge in general. In its implementation, of course, it takes a figure who has reliable leadership in both fields. This research aims to describe and analyze (1) the leadership style of Senior High School Nurul Jadid principals in the implementation of education in school; (2) the leadership style of Senior High School Nurul Jadid Principal at the school policy retrieval process; (3) the typical leadership style of Senior High School Nurul Jadid principals. The approach of this research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was done through structured interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that 1) the leadership style of principals in organizing education which included inputs, processes, and outputs of schools in Nurul Jadid High School was using delegating leadership style, this leadership style was used because principals considered the maturity level of subordinates to be good and ready to carry out tasks. 2)While the policy retrieval process, the principal of Senior High School Nurul Jadid uses a democratic leadership style, because when making policies in schools there was still an element of coordination between superiors and subordinates, subordinates were still allowed to make decisions based on suggestions and criticism. Both of leadership styles that are jointly run by the principal have elements of the pesantren's distinctive leadership style, which are dedicated, serving leadership and a high sense of kinship by applying Nurul Jadid's rules and Islamic values, namely trilogy santri, and panca awareness santri.Keywords: Leadership Style, Delegative, Democratic, Islamic Boarding School Abstrak: Dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman yang semakin liberal banyak pondok pesantren yang membentuk sekolah umum dengan diterapkan secara bersama demi melahirkan generasi yang menguasai ilmu agama dan pengetahuan secara umum. Dalam pelaksanaannya tentunya dibutuhkan sosok yang memiliki kepemimpinan yang handaldikedua bidang.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA Nurul Jadid(1) dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah; (2) dalam proses pengambilan kebijakan di sekolah; (3) gaya kepemimpinan khas pesantren kepala sekolah SMA Nurul Jadid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang meliputi input, proses dan output sekolah di SMA Nurul Jadid menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan delegasi, gaya kepemimpinan ini digunakan karena kepala sekolah menganggap tingkat kematangan bawahan sudah bagus dan siap untuk melaksanakan tugas.2)  pada saat proses pengambilan kebijakan, kepala sekolah SMA Nurul Jadid menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, karena pada saat membuat kebijakan-kebijakan di sekolah masih ada unsur koordinasi antara atasan dan bawahan, bawahan masih diberi kesempatan untuk mengambil keputusan atas dasar saran dan kritik yang diberikan. 3) Gaya kepemimpinan yang bersama-sama dijalankan oleh kepala sekolah tersebut terdapat unsur gaya kepemimpinan khas pesantren yaitu kepemimpinan yang bersifat mengabdi, melayani dan rasa kekeluargaan yang tinggi dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai keislaman dan kepesantrenan Nurul Jadid yaitu trilogi santri dan panca kesadaran santri.Kata kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Delegasi, Demokratis, Pesantren

We are now living in 21st century, the century of development of technology, datas and digital trends. Several kinds of job have been replaced by their digital versions. Electronic based learning method has been a familiar skill found at majority of school in this century. The motive behind this method is to reduce the illiteracy of technology among students by introducing them how to use some technological devices effectively so they can understand, evaluate and participate on it. In addition for the method of Arabic teaching in Indonesia should be changed into e-learning based as a way to face recent challenges and problems while teaching. One of those problems is the less attention from students to learn Arabic language due to some difficulties of Arabic language teaching books and its material, as well as limited devices they can use. It’s known that this Islamic boarding school is the only school signed up its name on iTunes U platform. This paper is a descriptive qualitative research which took respondents of 10 students of Al-Azhar Cairo Islamic Senior High school Palembang, Indonesia. The data are collected based on interviewing, informing and collecting files. The data collection is completed using Miles and Huberman’s data collection method in descriptive explanation. Finally this research concluded that the iPad based learning method used by this school did impacted well on gaining student’s attention in learning Arabic language including its basic skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing)

The leadership of the Kyai is special because it is not yet known in depth by the society. A Kyai has a very important role in providing religious education to the society. The leadership of the Kyai has another feature, which is to make the society more easily influenced and obedient to the matters conveyed by the Kyai. Likewise with the leadership of KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali. He has an important role in providing Islamic religious education to the society.                The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the type of leadership KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali, his efforts in empowering religion in society, as well as describing the implications of the leadership results of KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali in empowering the society. The method used in this study is a qualitative method and the research approach used is descriptive qualitative with the type of life-history research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation study. The research instrument was the researcher. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, peer checking, and member checking.                This research results indicates that: (1) the type of leadership KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali is charismatic and democratic. (2) KH. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali in empowering religion is by becoming a mosque stakeholder, mubaligh (preaching), teaching, being active in ORMAS activities (society organizations) to establishing a Islamic boarding school and formal education, (3) the implication of KH leadership. Ahmad Muchtar Ghozali in empowering religion in society is the creation of a society that upholds Islamic values and is able to produce the younger generation to become an ulama’ (scholar).

The independence of learning is very important to apply in the environment and educational institutions through the design and implementation of a full day school learning system. Children of school age who is experiencing a period of growth and development of language and social relationships require wider to develop social concepts. This research is a Mixed Research study using Sequential Merge forms. The researcher used both studies in sequence. Primary data from this study were obtained from the results of observations and interviews with research subjects consisting of principal, vice principal of Curriculum Field, Educators, and Staff, Students, School Committees and Parents. Secondary data in this study are books, research journals, or articles related to this research, as well as supporting documents in this study. In this study the authors took a sample of 10% of the population, thus getting 50 students. Data obtained from the results of the questionnaire discussion are processed using a Likert scale. Data analysis in qualitative research is carried out when data collection takes place, and after data collection, and after completion of data collection in a certain period. The results of this study are: First, Islamic Senior High School 2 of Serang City combines the National Curriculum (2013 Curriculum) and Islamic School Curriculum; Secondly, Islamic Senior High School 2 has not been full day if they see the characteristics of a full day five working days, but at the level of practice the learning burden has exceeded full days, not to mention there is a teaching and learning program held at the Boarding School; Third, learning the independence of students is carried out inside and outside the classroom for competitive advantage, whereas for more cooperative excellence it is obtained in the boarding school.
