Temporary Waste Disposal Site (TPSS) is a place to collect waste from various community activities which will later be transported to the final disposal site by garbage trucks. There are many considerations in choosing a TPSS location, so the selection of a TPSS location is very important in supporting the collection of waste that will be transported to final disposal. The Jember Regency Environmental Service is an agency in charge of waste management, including the selection of TPSS locations. Choosing the location of TPSS so far is still manual, where manual selection cannot be separated from human error, so that choosing the location of TPSS is not accurate can cause new problems in the community. In addition, there is no standardized assessment system in the TPSS selection process, so a decision support system is needed that can be used to assist the process of selecting the best TPSS location recommendations. In making this research system, we implemented the hybrid method of AHP and TOPSIS. Where the AHP method is used to determine the weight of the criteria while the TOPSIS method is used for the selection process for TPSS candidates.

There are several techniques to select a set of traffic features for traffic classification. However, most studies ignore the domain knowledge where traffic analysis or classification is performed and do not consider the always moving information carried in the networks. This paper describes a selection process of online network-traffic discriminators. We obtained 24 traffic features that can be processed on the fly and propose them as a base attribute set for future domain-aware online analysis, processing, or classification. For the selection of a set of traffic discriminators, and to avoid the inconveniences mentioned, we carried out three steps. The first step is a context knowledge-based manual selection of traffic features that meet the condition of being obtained on the fly from the flow. The second step is focused on the quality analysis of previously selected attributes to ensure the relevance of each one when performing a traffic classification. In the third step, the implementation of several incremental learning algorithms verified the usefulness of such attributes in online traffic classification processes.

To get good employees, a good selection process is needed. From the results of the interview, PT. Global Retailindo Pratama uses four criteria for the selection of new employees, education, intelligence, experience, and interviews. All prospective employees must take an exam to measure the criteria of education and intelligence and also have to send a photocopy of proof of their experience. The first stage selection is done to determine the prospective applicants who will take part in the interview. The second stage is conducted to determine the prospective employees who are accepted. The process of assessment and selection is still done by humans, so it takes a lot of time and energy. This problem can be solved by providing an information system for submitting applications and conducting examinations online. All documents are sent in digital form, also automaticlly checking answers from prospective employees. To select prospective employees, a method is needed that can recommend potential prospective employees based on specified criteria. The TOPSIS method is a decision support method that can provide recommendations in accordance with the criteria. The disadvantage of the TOPSIS method is that it requires weighting in the ranking process. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can be used to determine the criteria weight. Combining AHP and TOPSIS methods can produce more objective ranking results. Combining the AHP and TOPSIS methods can produce better recommendations.

The security category does not escape a strict security system. The Security Task Force (SATGASKAM) is a unit that guards every agency and company in order to avoid crime. There were several problems in the security unit recruitment process. This applies a conventional assessment. It is said to be conventional because the assessment system in the recruitment only involves human reasoning abilities from a number of predetermined criteria. In this study, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was applied for the security guard recruitment system. The selection process uses criteria which are the requirements for being accepted as security officers. The criteria used are the level of education, the equality value, the psychological score, and the results of the interviews. These criteria include the requirements contained in the regulation of the Head of Police of the Republic of Indonesia. The research method is carried out in several stages by comparing the AHP calculation process and the process of the result value of the system. The AHP process begins by determining the criteria, the eigenvalues. The results of the AHP method show transparency in recruitment with respective values and have a certain weight according to the priority of the agency.

<p>When projecting and planning a final high-level radioactive waste disposal site various uncertainties need to be addressed. A geological model is an abstraction of one possibility to interpret the exposed outcrops, drilling results and geophysical data. In numerical modelling the geological model is further simplified due to computational limitations. The behaviour of rocks is modelled with more or less complex constitutive models which are based upon laboratory experiments. Complex constitutive models have a huge range of input parameters, which rarely can be obtained completely by these experiments. The samples, which will be used in the laboratory experiments, are, as the data of the geological model, always a selection of drilling cores. For example, in a mechanical laboratory, harder rocks will be overrepresented in comparison to softer parts of the core.</p><p>Since the mentioned uncertainties are not avoidable many authors suggest that an open communication of these uncertainties can support the confidence of the public in the work of the professionals and as well as the projected development of the final disposal site. This contribution will present an overview of these uncertainties in the geological and geotechnical barriers of an final disposal site to discuss the relevance of these.</p>

Jakarta ranks as the highest as the city that produces the most waste after China. Jakarta produces around seven thousand tons of waste every day. However, only six thousand tons of garbage can be transported to the Bantar Gebang Final Disposal Site per day. Some of the waste that is not transported then piles up on empty land and waterways, such as rivers and streams. Plus the habits of people who are still less concerned about the environment by littering, including in rivers or streams, make this plastic waste pollution increasing. Waste that is not transported then flows to the sea. At the sea, neglected plastic rubbish will not be decomposed in a short time. This accumulation of garbage then disrupts the life of marine life. In the process of environmental improvement and maintenance, the role of the surrounding community is an important factor. The community must take part in living their daily lives, such as: reducing the use of disposable plastics, sorting out trash before disposal, recycling waste into new valuable objects, and so on. Therefore this building design aims as a means for the community to learn and participate in handling issues that occur in this region. Architectural building, as a place that accommodates community activities, uses the principles of plasticity as the basis for forming mass and space. Abstrak Jakarta menduduki peringkat tertinggi kedua sebagai kota yang menghasilkan sampah paling banyak. Kota Jakarta menghasilkan sekitar tujuh ribu ton sampah setiap harinya. Namun, hanya sebanyak enam ribu ton sampah yang dapat diangkut ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir Bantar Gebang per hari. Sebagian sisa sampah yang tidak terangkut ini kemudian menumpuk pada lahan kosong dan jalur air, seperti sungai dan kali. Ditambah lagi kebiasaan masyarakat yang masih kurang peduli terhadap lingkungan dengan membuang sampah sembarangan, termasuk ke sungai atau kali, membuat pencemaran sampah plastik ini semakin meningkat. Sampah yang tidak terangkut ini kemudian mengalir sampai ke laut. Di laut, sampah plastik yang diabaikan, tidak akan teurai dalam waktu singkat. Penumpukan sampah ini kemudian mengganggu kehidupan biota laut. Dalam proses perbaikan dan pemeliharaan lingkungan, peran masyarakat di sekitarnya merupakan faktor penting. Masyarakat harus ambil bagian dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti: mengurangi penggunaan plastik sekali pakai, memilah sampah sebelum dibuang, mendaur ulang sampah menjadi benda baru yang bernilai, dan sebagainya. Oleh karena itu desain bangunan ini bertujuan sebagai sarana masyarakat untuk belajar dan ikut serta dalam penanganan isu yang terjadi di kawasan ini. Bangunan arsitektural, sebagai tempat yang mewadahi kegiatan masyarakat ini menggunakan prinsip-prinsip plastisitas sebagai dasar membentuk massa dan ruang.

Currently, waste is an important issue faced by almost all countries, including Indonesia, as it can have social and environmental impacts. Waste management needs coordination between local governments and waste-generating communities. The government must provide means of final waste disposal site. At present, Wonogiri District has five disposal sites located in 5 different sub-districts of Pracimantoro, Baturetno, Ngadirojo, Slogohimo and Purwantoro. Determination of alternative final disposal site in Wonogiri District is needed for more effective and optimum waste handling. Using Technique of Order Preference method by Similiary to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), it is proposed in this article that the Baturetno site is the best alternative for final disposal site compared to the other four sites. This article also proposes a scheme for the further processing of waste into methane gas that can be utilized by the community.

Purpose – This article aims to propose criteria for the selection of green suppliers in the foundry sector and select the best suppliers for the organization where researched, by applying the AHP method. Design/methodology/approach – An applied survey was carried out where specialists from the foundry sector were consulted and after the survey had been completed, criteria were defined to select green suppliers. Findings – Adopting the defined criteria and applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) decision-making method, five suppliers were classified, with Environment, Health and Safety criteria being considered the most important according to the opinion of the experts consulted in this survey. Originality/Value – The study allows organizations to see the importance of the supplier selection process in the foundry sector, where worldwide concerns for the environment are increasingly present and environmental standards and regulations are strict. AbstrakPemilihan kualitas batu mulia membutuhkan kemampuan khusus untuk memilih dan menilai kualitas batu mulia yang akan diperdagangkan. Keberagaman jenis batu mulia dan konsumen menjadi kendala tersendiri ketika pengetahuan dan kemampuan individu dalam menganalisis kualitas batu mulia sangatlah minim.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model Fuzzy AHP. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara konsultasi dengan Direktur Kantor Pusat Promosi Batu Mulia Indonesia GEM-AFIA GROUP  di Bandung sehingga dihasilkan kriteria-kriteria terbaik dalam pemilihan kualitas perdagangan batu mulia. Kriteria-kriteria tersebut kemudian disusun berdasarkan literatur, observasi dan wawancara, selanjutnya diberi penilaian perbandingan berpasangan dengan AHP untuk mencari bobot informasional dan menggunakan TFN untuk mencari upper excepted value.Hasil yang didapat dengan menggunaan model Fuzzy AHP dalam pemilihan kualitas perdagangan batu mulia menunjukkan bahwa kriteria berat jenis, warna, kekerasan, pemotongan, dan kejernihan merupakan kriteria utama dalam pemilihan kualitas perdagangan batu mulia. Fuzzy AHP dalam penilaian tingkat kosistensi dilakukan pada level struktur hierarki dan mampu mengakomodir ketidak konsistenan dalam penilaian. Kata kunci—AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process), Fuzzy AHP, TFN (Triangular Fuzzy Number), upper eecepted upper. AbstractThe selection process of Precious stone quality requires particular ability in selecting and assessing the quality of traded Precious stones . The diversity types of Precious stoneand consumers in choosing it become an obstacle since the limited knowledge and ability to analyze needs of individuals.This research applied quantitative method by employing Fuzzi AHP model. The data was collected by consulting the director of  Kantor Promosi Batu Mulia Indonesia GEMAFIA GROUP located in Bandung that gives some criteria in the selection of Precious stonetrade quality. Further, these criteria are formulated based on AHP pair comparison to find out the informational quality and upper expected values using TFT (triangular Fuzzy Number).The result that is based on Fuzzy AHP method show that density, color, hardness, cutting and clarity criteria are the criteria in selecting Precious stonetrade quality.  This method in the assessment of consistency level is done in the hierarchy structure level and is able to accommodate the assessment inconsistency. Keywords—AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process), Fuzzy AHP, TFN (Triangular Fuzzy Number),  upper eecepted upper.
