Currently, companies are required to improve supply chain performance. One of the main problems in the supply chain is the proper supplier selection. Supplier selection has an essential role in improving supply chain management performance. Supplier selection requires the proper criteria. However, the relationship between criteria is rarely considered in the selection of suppliers in the textile industry. This study tries to propose integrating the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) and the Analytic Network Process (ANP) for supplier selection in the textile industry. Both methods are multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) tools DEMATEL is used to assess the relationship between criteria. Furthermore, ANP is used to evaluate and weigh the importance of criteria and suppliers. A case study was carried out in a textile company located in Indonesia. The results show that this procedure can identify the relationship and effect of each criterion. The results show that the product price criteria are the criteria that have the most significant weight. The criteria for conformity to specifications and consistency of quality are in second and third place. Finally, suppliers are selected based on weight assessment on each criterion by ANP.

The demand for a product is rooted in the consumers’ needs and preferences. Therefore, a pricing optimization model will be more valid if the demand function is represented under this basic notion. A preference-based revenue optimization model for an app-based lifestyle membership program is developed and solved in this research. The model considers competitor products and cannibalization effect from products in other fare-class, where both are incorporated using a preference-based demand function. The demand function was derived through a randomized first choice simulation that converts individual utility values into personal choices based on the random parameter logit model. Cannibalizing products are considered as competing products in the simulation scenario. In the pricing optimization, two and three fare classes based on the membership period are considered. The corresponding pricing optimization problem is a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem with a solution-dependent objective function. Using enumeration, the three-fare-class optimal prices of Rp420,000, Rp300,000, and Rp60,000 for 12-month, 6-month, and 1-month membership, respectively, are better than those of the two-fare-class. Under this policy, the estimated total revenue is Rp30.56 billion, 41.74% greater than that of the current condition.

Industrial businesses in Indonesia realize that consumer desires have changed over time. Consumers desire that becomes the main priority is quality. PT. Bitrate Industries, as a company that produces yarn in Semarang, always strives to improve product quality to the desires of consumers. The company faces quality control problems: the production process of 20 OE yarn, producing the highest defective products. The Six Sigma approach analyzes the causes of defects, identifies sources of variation, proposes improvements with 5W + 1H, and implements a quality control plan. Most defects occur in the production process in the autocross engine, which is caused by engine wear. Implementation of the kaizen approach can be given proposals in the form of improvements in maintenance, according to the existing scheduling and periodic replacement of parts. This study concludes that the proportion of defects is still in the controlled stage, but the quality control of the product is still needed. A quality improvement project with a Six Sigma approach can benefit any company that needs to find the most efficient way to improve product quality.

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a physical disability in childhood with impaired development of movement and posture due to disorders of the fetal or infant's brain. The measurement results of the spastic HCP children at YPAC Surakarta show that 8 attributes have difficulty grasping the precision type and 9 attributes of the power type. To solve this problem, hand tools called wrist hand orthoses are needed to restore hand function. This study aims to design alternative designs and make prototypes of wrist hand orthoses using the 3D printing process. The research stages began by collecting activity daily living (ADL) data and anthropometric data, taking a participatory approach to produce design alternatives, selecting design alternatives with the PUGH's concept selection method. The chosen design alternative will be printed through the additive manufacturing process. Testing with the 2015 human grasping database showed an increase in grasping time in 13 types of ADL activities from 17 ADLs.

Salt is one of the basic needs of Indonesian society. The salt production areas in Indonesia reach 37.4 thousand hectares, but the potential areas are merely around 53.2%. People's salt production has only been able to meet the need for households' daily consumption, while the industrial need is met from imports. The people's salt production needs to be increased to maintain the sustainability of salt farmers' business. Salt farmers require training about the strategies to improve the quality of salt production, manage finished products, and run the salt business independently. Studies on the analysis of the sustainability of people's salt business, particularly in terms of entrepreneurship aspect, are limited. Therefore, this present study analyzes the sustainability of people's salt business entrepreneurship with three triple bottom line criteria: people, planet, and profit. This study aims to formulate the framework of business strategies suitable for the condition of the salt business. The framework is constructed from the factors synthesized from the literature on previous studies. The results of this study are expected to be implemented by the government and business actors in making a decision and setting policies to determine the strategies for maintaining SMEs' salt business sustainability. This study applied the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method to determine the rating of the factors contributing to the continuity of the SMEs' salt business. The factors underlying sustainable entrepreneurship were identified from the literature studies based on the triple bottom line concept adapted to the conditions in Madura. The criteria of people include collaborative development, risk seizing, and innovative thinking, while the requirements of the planet cover eco-friendly packaging and waste controlling. Profit was seen from the aspects of government policy and unsettled finance. Then, the TOPSIS analysis was applied to analyze strategies based on the highest performance score. The results of data analysis show that government policy has the highest score as an alternative, and implementation of an e-supply chain is the strategy with the highest-ranking performance score.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic had been hitting throughout the world since early 2020. Indonesia faces severe impacts, including the deaths of millions of people and vast virus transmission through a bad waste management system. Since the government applied lockdown in many regions, household waste increases and led to various problems. This research aims to explain household waste management intention during Covid-19, especially in a metropolitan city like Jakarta. This research adopts the Theory of Planned Behavior and examines the impacts of pandemic awareness, knowledge, and religion. Participants were involved in this study are 314 respondents. Questionnaires were gathered through emails, messenger applications, and social media. We use Structural Equation Modelling, particularly Confirmatory Factor Analysis, to analyze data and utilize LISREL 8.80. Results show that household waste management behavior can be encouraged through intention and pandemic risk awareness. Meanwhile, perceived behavioral control and household expenditures have to impact to intention to manage household waste. Moreover, government support also plays an important role in enhancing the intention of managing household waste. Therefore, social media and religious activities can be used to raise the level of risk awareness.
