This study examined the mediating effects of peer status on the relationship between Intellectual Achievement Responsibility and the academic performance of 79 sixth grade students in an open-space school. When peer status was specified, a negative association was noted between achievement responsibility and academic ability for students of high status, but a positive one for students of low status. No association between achievement responsibility and ability was observed for students with medium peer status. Operation of internal achievement motivation may be influenced by the social psychological environment of the individual.

Introduction. This article is devoted to the research of essence and the legal behaviour of the person. The purpose of article is the identification of the factors influencing formation, development and content of legal behaviour. Theoretical Basis. Methods. The article is based methodologically on the post-classical anthropological paradigm which allows consideration of legal behaviour through a prism of subjective perception by the person. The studying of fundamental bases of legal behaviour is impossible without identification of their valuable basis. Results. It is proved that the commission by the person of certain actions in the legal sphere depends on the individual and the social system of legal values, the individual and society (social group) relation to them, legal status of the personality and the social role which is carried out by it. The classification of legal behaviour on the basis of an axiological approach assumes an allocation of the person which is active, ordinary and passive depending on degree of readiness to carry out the legal actions, being guided by the valuable orientations and installations determined by legal socialisation and the system of legal values of group with which the subject identifies themselves. At the same time, it is insignificant how these actions meet the standards of positive law. However, the legal behaviour often has situational character. In this case its contents are defined by the system of so-called individual person law. The behaviour of the person is the result of operation of the special mechanism consisting of consistently realised elements that connected among themselves not only cognitively but also functionally including legal requirement, legal interest, legal motive, legal orientation, legal installation, legal decision, and legal act. These elements consistently replace each other, providing an interrelation of legal behaviour with legal awareness. The role of the state in formation of the person’s legal behaviour, though is very considerable, but it is not defining. In the process of legal socialisation the cognitive elements of the mechanism of legal behavior determined by legal tradition in combination with social and individual legal experience are formed. Discussion and Conclusion. The analysis of legal behaviour is aimed at expanding the value ideas of legal reality. This will allow a deeper look at legal development on a global scale.

The article considers the problems of deviant behavior in the modern Ukrainian youth environment. Features of the organization of leisure activities for children of deviant behavior are revealed. Improperly organized leisure has been shown to be associated with a significant increase in antisocial processes in society among young people, children, adolescents and other vulnerable groups. It was found that well-organized leisure activities will allow the social worker to change his view of the events that have taken place, to re-evaluate plans for the future and to identify priority areas for future professional intervention. In modern conditions it is necessary to pay attention to the need to find new organizational forms of involving children, especially with deviant behavior, in leisure activities in order to form a healthy lifestyle, distract them from bad habits, and prevent crime. It is proved that leisure significantly influences the formation of moral guidelines and values of children, their hobbies, interests and socialization in general. In the leisure sphere, their interests and needs, personal and social roles are realized, activity and creative initiative are developed, and new values are sought through the free choice of activities. The potential of leisure lies in a wide range of cognitive, educational, recreational, creative opportunities.

This chapter provides an analysis of some of Ireland’s key public health policy documents since 1994 in the context of advanced liberal government. The analysis reveals how Irish public health strategies increasingly target the individual in terms of responsibilising behaviours, inculcating them to make healthy lifestyle choices and mitigate against health risks. Scrutinising the claims and arguments set out in three health documents-Shaping a healthier future (Department of Health, 1994), Quality and fairness – A health service for you(Department of Health and Children, 2001), and Healthy Ireland (Department of Health, 2013)-they note the increasing shift to a market-based model of healthcare, and of the role of the state as one amongst many actors in the health policy arena. Health policymaking, as they argue, has become an increasingly technocratic process, and their analysis raises significant questions about the implications of neoliberal modes of government in the context of the three documents’ acknowledgement of persistent health inequalities in the State.

Since the 1970s, the public authorities of many OECD countries have emphasised the need for preventing lifestyle diseases and promoting the vigour of their populations. Based on the Foucauldian analytics of dispositive, we critically address some of the normative implications of the preventive interventions in the area of type 2 diabetes care. Through an analysis of public health documents from 1981 to 2016, it is shown that the government of lifestyle was extended and institutionalised by a reform of the Danish public sector in 2007. Following the reform, rationalities of public health policies sought to prevent unhealthy lifestyles not only through individual behaviour but also through the social surroundings of citizens. In contrast to the claim that we are seeing a retraction of state responsibility and interventions in the area of public health, it is suggested that we are witnessing an expansion in state ambitions expressed through a lifestyle dispositive. These ambitions are less about transferring the responsibility to the individual and more about governing and mobilising the social relations and environments of type 2 diabetes patients and citizens in general to make the everyday choice of a healthy lifestyle easier.

The paper discusses the problem of evaluating the so-cial effectiveness of technology for designing individual educational results of students in the system of addi-tional education for children. The social effects and ef-fectiveness of education are determined. The role of the system of additional education of children as an institu-tion of socialization of the individual in the current crisis of General education is shown. Individualization of addi-tional education and design of individual educational results of students are considered as conditions for obtaining social effects of education. The technology of designing individual educational results of students in the system of additional education of children is based on the methodology of social constructivism and cultural and historical psychology. Joint design of individual educational results implies the creation of the following psychological and pedagogical conditions: freedom of choice of educational trajectory, variability, availability of educational resources, involvement of students in goal-setting processes, presentation of the results of creative activity to external experts, tolerance of peda-gogical interaction. It is concluded that the use of tech-nology for designing individual educational results of students in the system of additional education of chil-dren contributes to the achievement of systemic social effects: the formation of civil identity, social mobility, tolerance, socialization, increasing the competitiveness of the individual, society and the state.
