In recent years, policy discussions and debates have emphasised the efficiency of development policies to translate economic growth into sustainable economic development. One of the main aspects in this regard is achieving improvement in child nutrition through economic development. Nevertheless, there is a scarcity of literature that empirically verifies the causality between stunting, poverty, and economic growth in 34 provinces in Indonesia using Klassen’s typology analysis and Panel VECM. This study indicates that the prevalence of stunting has a direct causality towards poverty and economic growth in the long-term by 0.02%. Handling high the prevalence of stunting needs to be focused on in all provinces in Indonesia. Poverty directly affects the stunting prevalence and economic growth in the long-term by 0.06%. The percentage of the population, poverty outside Java, including Nusa Tenggara, Moluccas, and Papua, is also higher than in Java. Therefore, efforts to tackle poverty should be more focused on these areas. Economic growth has a direct causality to the prevalence of stunting and poverty by 0.57%. It proves that the country’s economic growth is accompanied by socioeconomic development and improving the poor’s livelihoods and welfare. Can also recommend specific nutrition and sensitive nutrition interventions to impact the massive reduction of stunting in Indonesia. Keywords: Stunting, Poverty, Economic Growth, IndonesiaJEL: I10; I18; I32; O10; O15; P36

This chapter analyzes how West Virginia's economic development policies and practices, built on neoliberal influences, systematically favor the coal industry and fail to create a diverse economy or reduce poverty. The most striking characteristic of West Virginia's economic development is that there seems to be no focus on the quality of jobs created. As a policy, the state's economic development efforts do not form a coherent and effective plan to create jobs and long-term economic growth in West Virginia. Projects like the Hatfield-McCoy ATV trails, racetracks, and baseball stadiums create geographically isolated, relatively low-paying service jobs that typically offer no benefits. Implicitly, the state's various development policies protect Coal's status as the dominant economic engine in southern West Virginia.

Analyzed the dynamic interaction characteristics of Chongqing Economic growth and energy consumption between 1980-2011 based on vector auto regression model, impulse response function. The results showed that: 1 Between the Chongqing's economic growth and energy consumption exist the positive long-term stable equilibrium relationship, Chongqing's economic development depending on energy consumption is too high, to keep the economy in Chongqing's rapid economic development, energy relatively insufficient supply sustainable development must rely on the energy market, which will restrict the development of Chongqing's economy. 2At this stage, Chongqing continuing emphasis on optimizing the industrial structure to improve energy efficiency at the same time, the key is to establish and improve the energy consumption intensity and total energy demand "dual control" under the security system, weakening the energy bottleneck effect on economic growth.

This research titled "Causality analysis non petrol export with economic growth using final error prediction methods". Goal which needs to find the answer in this research is to know that non petrol export variable affecting to economic growth variable and economic growth variable affecting non petrol export variable. And also to know final prediction error with existence of long term equilibrium between non petrol export with economic growth. Hypothesis proposed is non petrol export having positive effect to economic growth and economic growth have positive effect to non petrol export. Final error prediction with existence of relation between long term equilibrium and non petrol export and economic growth have positive effect, and final error prediction with existence of relation between long term equilibrium with economic growth and non petrol export have positive effect.Based on analysis there's only one direction causality relation between economic growth and non petrol export. From facts above can be concluded that economic growth will bring creation process and expanding strong domestic market because export is not a starting point or initial destination of economic growth but export only a economic growth process

This research aims toaanalyze the causal relationshipbbetween several variables including economiccgrowth using the value of PDRB at constant prices, the variable humanndevelopment index (HDI) and capitaleexpenditures in Jambi Province during 2010-2020 period. The data used in this research is secondary data with a database obtained from BPS Jambi Province and Regional Financial Statistics Jambi Province. The method used in this research is the Granger causality analysis method, which was previously tested using unit roots and cointegration methods to see the long-termrrelationship betweenrresearch variables. The results showed that there was a long-term relationship between the research variables. Economic growth has a one-way causal relationship with HDI. Economic growth increases the supply of resources needed for human development which in turn will encourage better human development. The capital expenditure variable has a one-way causal relationship with the economic growth variables. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the causality relationship between energy consumption and economic growth for developed countries. Within this context, annual data of 22 developed countries was examined by using Dumitrescu Hurlin panel causality analysis. As a result, it was determined that that there is a bidirectional relationship between energy consumption and economic improvement for developed countries. This condition provides two different results. Firstly, energy consumption has an influence on economic development for these countries. While considering this result, it can be said that any limitation in energy consumption will restrict economic growth. Moreover, it was also concluded that level of economic growth is the main reason of energy consumption for developed countries. In other words, developed countries tend to have more energy consumption when their economies are growing.

AbstractSavings and investments are not unconditioned universal ways for the economic development and growth of a country. They accomplish only the motor role in a healthy macroeconomic ambiance, but in the context of a coherent and consistent long-term policy, as well. Only in these circumstances it can become reality the virtuous circle of high savings – large investments – economic growth. For the insuring of the sustainability of the economic growth there will be the need of more effort, which indicates the fact that success is obtainable and that the political efforts in this direction will be rewarded.

The article deals with environmental obstructions and limitations for a dynamic political and socioeconomic development of modern Russia. Environmental problems accumulated in the past decades, including problems that appeared in the "Soviet" period of the country's development, together with growing new environmental risks, become a serious obstacle to the progressive development of the country. Contemporary Russian manufacturing practices continue to use extensively anti-environmental obsolete technologies, which lead to increasing degradation of the natural environment and an increase in negative trends in the health of the population. The absence or limited use of remediation activities in extractive industries has led to the natural degradation of a number of territories in the country. Unfavorable socio-demographic characteristics of the development for modern Russia caused by the environmental factors hinder innovative development in all spheres of society in the present period; moreover, their increasing impact will be an obstacle to socio-economic development in the future. Additionally the article discusses long-term negative trends in the development of environmental policy and weakening of the ecological spectrum of civil society.

Zhang wrote that the Louisville enterprise zone (EZ) was more successful than what previous research showed and that variations in research design have led to conflicting or mixed reviews of many local economic development policies that are based on the EZ concept. She mentions a study and an article on the Louisville, Kentucky EZ and implies the time horizon used to evaluate it was too short. This Forum/Letter to the Editor points out that the Louisville EZ went through multiple transformations and expansions over its history from 1983 to 2003, and as noted in the first of two studies, the original zone showed virtually no progress from 1983 to 1990. Several other unpublished papers pointed out the same results when the original EZ and other parts of the expanded EZ were analyzed up to the last years of the 20th century. Finally, this Forum/Letter to the Editor argues that and provides reasons for the methodology employed by Lambert and Coomes as a superior way of analyzing the Louisville EZ when compared with the methods employed by Zhang. The main reason why Zhang showed success in the EZ is because she mostly evaluates it in its final form in the late 1990s after it had annexed many sections of Jefferson County, which were not as nearly economically disadvantaged as the original Louisville EZ established in 1983.
