One of the efforts in maintaining food hygiene is to pay attention to hygiene and sanitation not only from food but also from the quality of the environment. The purpose of this study was to assess the suitability between food hygiene sanitation conditions with the related regulations that is KMK no. 1098 of 2003 on Hygiene Sanitation Requirements for Restaurants. This research was an observational research that lasted for 5 (five) weeks by doing observation, interview and literature study. The data obtained will be compared with KMK no. 1098 in 2003. Research shows that actual conditions that were not in accordance with regulation numb. 1098 of 2003 on Hygiene Sanitation Requirements for Restaurants, among others the meeting of walls and floors do not form a cone angle, the door that opens in without the protective gauze, washing facilities consist of 1 (one) tub, the condition of the waste bin open, poor ventilation, and food handlers do not use the media when in contact with food.

The school canteen has an important role to fulfill the food needs of school children. In general, foods that are sold in canteens have very diverse variations, with prices relatively cheap and easily accessible to school children. The need for fulfillment of hygienic foods is ordered by the factors of place and hygiene of the food handlers need to be done. Foods that do not meet the requirements and safety that can be given due to health problems or diseases related to food such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhus, and other food poisoning. The number of food handlers in the cafeteria of SD Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sidoarjo competes 6 people. Based on the results of observations and interviews, they did not have sufficient educational background in terms of hygiene and food sanitation, and they never gained knowledge about food hygiene and sanitation. This will greatly determine the quality of food provided to consumers especially elementary school children. Based on this, the Community Service activities on hygiene training and food sanitation were carried out at food handlers in the cafeteria of Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 elementary schools in Sidoarjo.

Hygienic and healthy food into the basic principles of the organization of food in hospitals. Food service hospital dedicated to the sick and at risk of pathogen contamination of germs. Implementation of food in the hospital must comply with Kepmenkes Decree No. 1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004 on Environmental Health Requirements Hospital. The purpose of this study is the management of food hygiene sanitation Identify at Hospital Dr. Harjono Ponorogo. This study is a descriptive observational. Object of the research officer food handlers, food hygiene, sanitation management, and food microbiological test (examination of E. coli and Salmonella). Collecting data using questionnaires, observation sheets, and test laboratory. Hygiene of food handlers who do not qualify the use of personal protective equipment, training of hygiene sanitation, and health screening. Sanitation management of food that does not qualify the quality of food, the food processing and presentation of food, while 9 samples prepared food laboratory test results 5 (55.6%) positive samples of E. coli. The conclusions in Hospital Dr. Harjono Ponorogo increase efforts to hygiene of food handlers and food sanitation management. Expected medical examination should be routinely expected 2 times a year, improving sanitation facilities that support the management of food hygiene, as well as water proofing regularly twice a year.

Safe and hygienic food add value to food intake and prevent undesirable health conditions. Food handlers who are at the forefront of the food service process must monitor and measure the standards of their food hygiene and its preparation and cooking practices. This study investigates how ready food handlers at on-site premises are for self-regulatory practices. Food surface contacts were chosen for investigation via purposive sampling and swab analysis to unravel hidden messages about the level of hygiene standards in the foodservice operation. The findings reveal the existence of contamination across the majority of the selected contact surfaces that could affect the consumers’ well-being and quality of life.Keywords: consumer well-being; food hygiene; food surface contact; food handler; the on-site premise eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2019. Talk about retail business can not be separated from the importance of service to consumers and good quality goods . But at the present time due to intense competition in the business world , the service and quality of goods is not enough to be able to increase revenue and attract customers loyal . This makes companies think hard to survive and stable in the business . One of them is by using a media campaign in this regard more toward print or visual media is indirectly felt the value of their effectiveness in communicating product marketing programs . PT . Times Prima Indonesia is a company engaged in the retail book with the name of the Times bookstores . Based on the analysis of the company’s problems requires additional media types supporting more varied and creatif promotion of existing ones, which will be used as a complement and a media campaign as well as to enrich the data renewal campaign design to capture the interest of consumers in which one form of the media campaign is shaped merchandise . Therefore , do Enriching ( enrich ) media campaign merchandise before it is less varied and has not formed a company image . The methodology used is the analysis, observation and design . Besides the new design has been tested with the implemented test duration for 6 months, and greatly increases the perceived contribution , this is evidenced by the chart sales increasing each month.

The management activity of research report writing requires sufficient knowledge in its preparation. A researcher must learn about the management of understanding scientific concepts, as well as management of research reports that are based on scientific truth. In this study, 1 (one) method was used, namely a literature study of 10 (ten) to support the understanding of scientific concepts according to experts. The concept is a general idea that represents perceived understanding on the basis of reason and logic by someone who then forms a meaning deductively or inductively. Whereas knowledge is what is known or the results of work know. Then scientific truth is related to the quality of knowledge, where every knowledge possessed is viewed from the type of knowledge that is built. Thus scientific truth is an important point in scientific reporting, as the basic foundation of accurate management of report writing and must be displayed in every corner of the report. Animal feed knife is a tool that serves to cut and chop animal feed consisting of grass as the main ingredient with additives such as bran, herbs, centrate, cassava, tofu pulp and others. Therefore, as a cutting tool must have the properties of friction resistance, impact resistance, and have good sharpness, so that the material chosen is Ni-Hard 1. The use of centrifugal casting method was chosen because it has the advantage of being able to make castings with relatively thin thickness this is due to the influence of the centrifugal force on the distribution of metal liquids throughout the cavity in the mold. Case study in this study is the use of centrifugal casting methods as an alternative to gravity casting methods to overcome defects of misruns. This research was conducted to investigate the effect of speed on the formation of castings products. The method that was carried out began with a literature study on centrifugal casting, and continued by determining the material, the temperature of the cast is in the range 1250ºC - 1300ºC, and the type of mold. The next step is to do work drawings, pattern making, mold making, casting processes, fettling processes, and analysis. With variations in speed of 200 rpm, 300 rpm and 400 rpm, it can be seen the optimal speed for making this product. The results of this study obtained optimal speed at a speed of 300 rpm to make good quality of animal feed knife products.

The focus of this research is to design geometry learning mediain junior high schools based on RME and integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) using 3D Pageflip Proffesional,and to explain quality of the learning media. In the process of design and development of this media used is the ADDIE development model which begins with the stages analysis, design, development, and  carried out an evaluation in each stages. Implementation stages will be continued in the following years research. This research resulted in a product in the form of geometry learning media in junior high schools especially eight grade according to purpose. Based on the validity test and practicality test the results obtained from the validation by material experts and media design experts were 4.09 namely 81.8% and 4.21 or 84.2%.Based on the criteria for the validity of the instrument, the criteria for "very valid" were obtained. And the practicality results, namely the results of teacher response questionnaire obtained an average of 4.26 or 85.19%, and the results of student questionnaire responses were 4.07 or 81.4%. Then based on the percentage criteria of practicality of the instrument, it is found that the criteria are very practical and the media can be implemented with minor revisions.

This literature study aims to find out whether the Teams Games Tournament learning model with task and forced strategies influences the development of Teams Games Tournament modifications and the tasks and forced students in the class. The problem in this learning is the activeness and creativity of students. The task strategy and force are chosen to complement the shortcomings of the Teams Games Tournament Learning Model. With the modifications can improve the quality of student learning, making students responsible and disciplined so that this learning is achieved. For educators, it is recommended to apply the Teams Games Tournament learning model to the task strategy and force at school, so that the learning objectives can be achieved optimally.

AbstractToday’s citizens are expected to use evidence, frequently presented in the media, to inform decisions about health, behavior, and public policy. However, science misinformation is ubiquitous in the media, making it difficult to apply research appropriately. Across two experiments, we addressed how anecdotes and prior beliefs impact readers’ ability to both identify flawed science and make appropriate decisions based on flawed science in media articles. Each article described the results of flawed research on one of four educational interventions to improve learning (Experiment 1 included articles about having a tidy classroom and exercising while learning; Experiment 2 included articles about using virtual/augmented reality and napping at school). Experiment 1 tested the impact of a single anecdote and found no significant effect on either participants’ evidence evaluations or decisions to implement the learning interventions. However, participants were more likely to adopt the more plausible intervention (tidy classroom) despite identifying that it was unsupported by the evidence, suggesting effects of prior beliefs. In Experiment 2, we tested whether this intervention effect was driven by differences in beliefs about intervention plausibility and included two additional interventions (virtual reality = high plausible, napping = low plausible). We again found that participants were more likely to implement high plausible than low plausible interventions, and that evidence quality was underweighed as a factor in these decisions. Together, these studies suggest that evidence-based decisions are more strongly determined by prior beliefs than beliefs about the quality of evidence itself.
