Background: Along with the development of processing goods using machine tools and equipment as well as the use of chemicals, one of the impacts is loud or noisy sound, which can be interpreted as unwanted sound or exceeding threshold and has an opportunity to damage hearing so that can be detrimental. Purpose: To analyze the relationship between the noise intensity and worker’s characteristics with hearing disorders at the Dental Engineering Laboratory in the Jakarta area in 2020. Method: This research was an analytical study with a descriptive cross-sectional design with a sample of 30 dental technicians who work in a dental engineering laboratory in the Jakarta area. Each area is taken 6 people. Measurement of noise in the laboratory with a sound level meter and measurement of hearing loss with audiometry. Result: Workers whose noise intensity is >85 dBA have hearing loss, workers whose noise intensity is 85 dBA, 4 people who have hearing loss, workers aged >40 years have hearing loss, while among workers aged ≤40 years, there are 7 people experiencing hearing disorders. workers with >5 years of service experience hearing loss, while among workers 5 years of service, none have hearing loss. Conclusion: There is a significant between noise intensity with hearing loss (p-value = 0.011), it isn’t significant between age with hearing loss (p-value = 0.0563), and it isn’t significant between tenure with hearing loss (p-value = 0.06).

Abstract: Laundry unit at a hospital can be a source of noise. The impact was very dangerous for workers, especially against hearing. From the results of a preliminary survey of the noise intensity measurements obtained intensity noise of 81.2 dB (A). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of noise on hearing loss intensity laundry attendant. This study was an observational with cross sectional design. The instrument used was a questionnaire to see the characteristics of the respondent, sound level meter to measure the intensity of noise and audiometry test to measure the threshold of hearing respondents. The research subject as many as 16 workers of laundry. Based on the results of the study states that 75% of the existing work in the laundry unit has a noise intensity exceeds the required value and 12 officers were on the section. The measurement results with minimum of 65.4 dB (A), to a maximum of 84.0 dB( A) andthe average intensity of noise by 79.04 dB (A). Obtained eight workers (50%) had hearing loss right ear and 6 offi cers (37.5%) had hearing loss left ear. There was a relationship between impaired right ear with noise intensity (Spearman; r = 0.577). The need hearing health for periodic examination least once a year, reducing device noise to keep the noise source, and personal protective equipment (PPE).Keywords: hearing loss, intensity noise, laundry

ABSTRAKKebisingan merupakan salah satu faktor bahaya fisik yang sering dijumpai di lingkungan kerja. PT. Adi Satria Abadi merupakan industri di bidang penyamakan kulit yang berlokasi di Yogyakarta memiliki tingkat kebisingan yaitu ruang Spray (89,2 dB), ruang Stacking (87,1 dB), mesin Setter (88,6 dB), mesin milling (90,8 dB), mesin Shaving (86,6 dB), risiko kebisingan yang melebihi NAB dapat berakibat menurunnya tingkat pendengaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan Hearing Loss pada pekerja di bagian Produksi PT. Adi Satria Abadi Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian observasional analitik menggunakan desain cross sectional untuk mencari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Jumlah sampel sebesar 70 orang. Sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan dasar pertimbangan memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini lembar data responden, checklist observasi dan sound level meter untuk mengukur kebisingan. Teknik analisis data ini menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas kebisingan dengan gangguan fungsi pendengaran (p-value= 0,000 dan rs = 0,531). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara umur dengan gangguan fungsi pendengaran (p-value= 0,001 dan rs = 0,433). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pemakaian alat pelindung telinga dengan gangguan fungsi pendengaran (p-value= 0,001 dan rs = 0,433). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku merokok dengan gangguan fungsi pendengaran (p-value 0,021 dan rs = 0,221). Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan antara intensitas kebisingan, umur, pemakaian APD dan perilaku merokok dengan kejadian hearing loss pada pekerja di bagian produksi PT. Adi Satria Abadi is an industry in the field of leather tanning located in Yogyakarta that has noise levels namely Spray room (89.2 dB), Stacking room (87.1 dB), Setter machine (88.6 dB), milling machine (90.8 dB), Shaving machines (86.6 dB), the risk of noise exceeding the NAB can result in decreased hearing levels. The instruments used in this study were respondent data sheets, observation checklist and sound level meter to measure noise. This data analysis technique uses univariate analysis, and bivariate using the Spearman correlation test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between noise intensity and hearing impairment (p = 0,000 and rs = 0,531). There was a significant relationship between age and hearing impairment (p = 0.001 and rs = 0.433). There is a significant relationship between the use of ear protectors with hearing impairment (p = 0.001 and rs = 0.433). There was a significant relationship between smoking behavior and hearing impairment (p = 0.021 and rs = 0.221). Conclusion there is a relationship between noise intensity, age, use of PPE and smoking behavior with the incidence of hearing loss in workers in the production of PT. Abstract: Noise is one of the unavoidable problems as a result of technological development. Hearing loss due to noise is called sensorineural hearing loss, which is oftenly not realized because it does not disturb daily conversation. Risk factors of hearing loss are inter alia noise intensity, length of employment, length of noise exposure in a day, and the usage of Ear Protective Equipment (EPE). This study aimed to determine the relationship between noise and hearing function among ship engine technicians in Bitung Port. This was an analytical study using a cross-sectional design. Samples consisted of 20 respondents. Noise measurement obtained noise intensities of 87 dB and 93 dB. Of 20 respondents, there were 7 exposed to over a predetermined noise. The audiometric examination showed 3 of 20 respondents (15%) with hearing loss. The bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between hearing loss and noise intensity (p = 0.008). Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between noise and hearing function among ship engine technicians in Bitung port.Keywords: noise, ship engines technician, hearingAbstrak: Kebisingan merupakan salah satu masalah yang tidak dapat dihindari akibat kemajuan teknologi. Gangguan pendengaran akibat bising ialah tuli sensorineural, yang pada awalnya tidak disadari, karena belum mengganggu percakapan sehari-hari. Faktor resiko terjadinya tuli ialah antara lain intensitas bising, lama masa kerja, lama terpajan bising dalam sehari, ketaatan pemakaian Alat Pelindung Telinga (APT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan adanya hubungan antara bising dan fungsi pendengaran pada teknisi mesin kapal yang bersandar di Pelabuhan Bitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan rancangan potong lintang. Sampel berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil pengukuran kebisingan mendapatkan intensitas bising 87 dB dan 93 dB. Dari 20 petugas hanya 7 orang yang bekerja melebihi NAB kebisingan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil pemeriksaan dengan audiometri mendapatkan 3 orang (15%) yang menderita tuli dan 17 orang (85%) normal. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara gangguan pendengaran dan intensitas bising (p=0,008). Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara bising dan fungsi pendengaran pada teknisi mesin kapal di pelabuhan Bitung.Kata kunci: bising, teknisi mesin kapal, fungsi pendengaran

Intelligence is the ability to apply the knowledge and experiences that have been gained into the effort tasks are challenging and flexible book. Behaviour is an action that involves aspects of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. Goal: This study aims to determine the relationship between the behavior of student nurses intelligence level II STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. Method: This study uses correlation with cross sectional design. The study population was all students / i Ners Level II STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan as 65. The samples used were 65 respondents, the sampling technique in this research is using purposive sampling. The instrument of this study using questionnaire and observation sheets by using product moment test person. Result: Intelligence students as many as 30 people (46.2%) classified as having an average level of intelligence. A total of 32 people (49.2%) classified as well-behaved students. Person product moment test results obtained p value = 0.172 where a significant level of p> 0.05 so that this value proves that the absence of a relationship between the behavior of student nurses intelligence level II STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. Conclusion: Recommended for institutions, motivating students in balancing the behavior and intelligence.

Abstract: Breast milk is the best food for babies, especially in the first month of life. Breast milk contains all nutrients to build and provide the energy needed by the baby. The low rate of breastfeeding is a threat to child development. Several factors related to the success of exclusive breastfeeding are the level of knowledge of the mother and husband's support. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers and husband's support  towards the success of exclusive breastfeeding in Lubuk Kilangan Puskesmas in 2017. This study was analytical with a cross sectional design. The population in this study amounted to 153 respondents. A sample of 31 respondents obtained by simple ramdom sampling. Data were analyzed bivariate. The statistical test results obtained p-value = 0,000. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the knowledge of mothers about exclusive breastfeeding and husband's support for the success of exclusive breastfeeding.

Musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) is a disorder in workers. This work-related disease has a high prevalence globally. MSDs occurs in work environment that exposes workers to non-ergonomic posture. The disorder triggers fatigue and indirectly adds to the workload among workers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between work tenure, sex and work attitudes with musculoskeletal complaints in general refueling station operators in Kupang City. The research was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional design. The research were conducted at 15 General Refueling Stations in Kupang from October to November 2019. A sample of 69 people were selected from the population of 222 operators. Data were analyzed by using chi-square (X2) with p-value = 0,05. The results showed that there was a relationship between musculoskeletal complaints and length of work (ρ-value= 0,004), gender (ρ-value 0,007) and work attitude (ρ-value= 0,001).

Abstract: Nicotine stomatitis could be found among heavy smokers. This study was aimed to determine the relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of lesions suspected as nicotine stomatitis among villagers of Ongkaw Dua. This was an analytical study with a cross sectional design. Population consisted of 183 smokers aged >15 years at Desa Ongkaw Dua and the subjects were 65 smokers. The chi-square showed a p-value of 0.592 for the relationship between the duration of smoking and the occurence of lesion supspected as nicotine stomatitis. Moreover, the chi-square showed a p-value of 0.005 for the relationship between the number of cigarettes consumed per day and the occurence of lesion suspected as nicotine stomatitis. In conclusion, there was no relationship between the duration of smoking and the occurence of lesion suspected as nicotine stomatitis, but there was a significant relationship between the number of cigarettes consumed per day and the occurence of lesion suspected as nicotine stomatitis.Keywords: smoking habit, nicotine stomatitis Abstrak: Stomatitis nikotina dapat dijumpai pada perokok berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebiasaan merokok dengan angka kejadian lesi yang diduga stomatitis nikotina pada masyarakat desa Ongkaw Dua. Jenis penelitian ialah analitik observasional dengan desain potong lintang. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu 183 perokok berusia >15 tahun di Desa Ongkaw Dua dan yang menjadi subyek penelitian berjumlah 65 orang. Hasil uji chi-square terhadap hubungan lama merokok dengan angka kejadian lesi yang diduga stomatitis nikotina mendapatkan p=0,592. Hasil uji chi-square terhadap hubungan antara jumlah rokok yang dihisap setiap hari dengan angka kejadian lesi yang diduga stomatitis nikotina mendapatkan p=0,005. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah tidak terdapat hubungan antara lamanya merokok dengan angka kejadian lesi yang diduga stomatitis nikotina, tetapi terdapat hubungan bermakna antara jumlah rokok yang dihisap setiap hari dengan angka kejadian lesi yang diduga stomatitis nikotina.Kata kunci: kebiasaan merokok, stomatitis nikotina

<p>Perineal Rupture is a laceration on perineum when delivering a baby. Perineal rupture is one of lacerations on birth canal which can cause complication which is dangerous for mother. The danger and complication of perineal rupture are bleeding, hematoma, fi stula, and infection. Based on the baseline study in RSUD Muntilan Magelang District, the number of normal deliveries in November 2013 to June 2014 found 612 people with normal delivery (spontaneous), as many as 243 people with a rupture perineum and the majority occur in women primiparous total of 37 people (15.22%), at a birth spacing &gt;2 years as many as 87 people (35.80%), maternal aged 20-35 years as many as 46 people (18.93%), and 2.500-4.000 grams birth weight as much as 73 people (30.04%). The purposes of this study were to know the frequency distribution of perineal rupture on normal delivery and to know the relationship between perineal rupture and partum, birth spacing, mothers’ age, birth weight on normal delivery in RSUD Muntilan Magelang District of 2015. This study was observational analytics with cross sectional design. The research samples were 41 women of spontaneous vaginal delivery in RSUD Muntilan. The data were collected by using checklist. Based on the statistical test, there were no signifi cant relationship between perineal rupture and partum (p-value=0.893), birth spacing (p-value=0.682), and mothers age (p-value=0.434); while on birth weight there was a signifi cant relationship with the occurrence of rupture perineum (p-value=0.000). In conclusion, there was no infl uence between partum, birth spacing, and mothers’ age on perineal rupture. In this study, the factor that infl uences perineal rupture was the birth weight.</p>

Every workplace always has potential hazards. The potential hazards most often found inmanufacturing industries are potential physical hazards that can affect labor productivity. The purposeof this study was to analyze the relationship between working period and age of bead craftsmen withhydration levels. Respondents in this study were 19 workers in PT X Jombang Regency. This researchis an observational study with a cross sectional design. Data collection was conducted from April toJuly 2018. Statistical tests used correlation test in testing urin color indications to determinedehydration levels. The results showed a relationship between the variable work period and the level oflabor hydration with p-value 0.000, age variable with hydration level did not have a relationship withp-value 0.087 where the temperature in the workspace averages 34.1°C. There is a relationship betweenthe length of work and the level of hydration of bead craftsmen and there is no relationship betweenage and level of hydration of bead craftsmen. To reduce the level of hydration status, it isrecommended that every bead craftsman every 2 hours drink as much as 0.5 liters of water, so that theneed for fluids is approximately 2 liter in 8 hours of work can be fulfilled. Companies are advised toadd the amount of ventilation in the workspace to reduce exposure to hot temperatures in theworkspace. Keywords: Hydration level, working period, age

Adequacy of nutrition is needed by a person from the womb to adulthood. Pregnant women are one of the groups of people who are prone to malnutrition. One of the nutritional problems in pregnant women is iron anemia (Fe). Pregnant women are said to be anemic if their Hb level is <11 g / dl, anemia can also occur due to an increased need for a person's body, for example during menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth, while the iron that enters is only a little, it is highly recommended to consume food that comes from animal protein such as fish. , meat, eggs and milk. Objective: to examine the relationship between the adequacy of animal protein consumption on hemoglobin (Hb) levels of pregnant women in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. Methods: This study is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the second and third trimesters who were recorded at Puskesmas Johan Pahlawan and Suak Ribee, West Aceh district in February 2020, totaling 165 people, the sampling technique used the purposive sampling method using the Slovin formula with a sample of 62 people. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the consumption of animal protein intake and hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with a p value = 0.022.
