Critical-thinking skill is one of the 21st-century abilities that students must have. This study aimed to analyze the critical thinking abilities to improve physics learning that was reviewed: overall, learning model, education level, subject matter, and the media used. This research method used meta-analysis. The meta-analysis research stage was to determine the research topic, decide data selection criteria, search for data, visualize VOSviewer, classify data information, calculate the effect size, and then analyze the data and conclude. The data collection technique used secondary data from previous research of 18 scientific publication articles. The data analysis technique used the effect size. This meta-analysis concluded that critical-thinking skills significantly influence physics learning, with an average effect size of 1.33 and an influence of 90%. Critical thinking skills in learning physics can significantly affect vocational education with the cooperative-learning time-token type model, using the subject of static fluid, and assisted by real learning media using a puzzle.

Several studies have been conducted to improve the critical-thinking ability through various models, including problem approach and inquiry approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze which model is the most influential to improve students' critical-thinking skills in the last 4 years of research. This type of research is a mixed-method (quantitative-qualitative which, involved 230 students in the classroom with the problem approach and 263 students with the inquiry approach. The data collection technique used was the documentation of research reports. The data analysis used was meta-analysis through effect size calculation and Z-test. The result shows that the problem approach has a greater influence on students' critical thinking skills than the inquiry approach. This is indicated by the average values of the effect size and Z-test respectively 0.9685 and 83.122 for the problem approach and 0.7207 and 77.162 for the inquiry approach.

The purpose of this reaserch are (1) find differences influence model of Group Investigation (GI) and Problem Based Learning (PBL). (2) find differences influence learning motivation of students to critical thinking abilities of learners. (3) find the interaction effect between learning models and learning motivation of the critical thinking skills of learners. This study will be conducted in SMA Martapura, Banjar regency, South Kalimantan. Subjects of the study were students of class XI SMA Martapura academic year 2015/2016. This type of research to be carried out in this study is a quantitative study using experimental methods. Design of this research is 2 X 2 factorial design to data collection technique motivation questionnaire and tests critical thinking skills. The result, 1) There is a difference between the positive influence of the Model Group Investigation (GI) and Problem Based Learning (PBL). 2) There are differences positively influence the motivation of students to critical thinking ability of students in learning the history. 3) There are nointeractions influence student learning model and motivation for students' critical thinking skill There is no interaction effect Learning Model and the Motivation of students' critical thinking skills of students in Learning Historys. Keywords: PBL Models, GI Models, Learning Motivation

During the Covid-19 pandemic that swept the world including Indonesia, and to improve students' critical thinking skills, it is necessary to have supporting media in the learning process as an edutainment website. This study intends to determine the validity of the edutainment website developed in physics lessons to improve student's critical thinking skills. The research method used is development research with the DDD-E model. This research was only limited to media development, and no practicality and effectiveness tests were carried out. In this study, the validity data were obtained from the results of validation by expert and were analyzed by descriptive quantitative using the category of Likert scale percentage. If the percentage of each aspect is ≥ 61%, then the edutainment website developed can be declared valid. The results of this study are the percentage of validity in the learning aspect of 90.30%, the material aspect of 90.56%, the media aspect of 88.65%, and the critical thinking aspect of 84.70%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the edutainment website is very valid so that it can be used as a physics learning media to improve students' critical thinking skills. The edutainment website can be an alternative learning media by utilizing information technology and hopefully in further research, it can apply edutainment website and perform practicality and effectiveness tests for learning both in class and distance learning

This study aims to obtain a valid scientific-based physics learning module to improve critical thinking skills in Dynamic Fluid material for high school/MA students. This study uses a research development design and approach or is included in development research. In this study, a scientific-based physics learning module was developed. The development of this module refers to the development of the (4-D model) proposed by Thiagarajan. This model consists of 4 development stages, namely (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). However, this study is only limited to the development stage, namely the validation stage. The validation test is a theoretical validation. Namely, assurance carried out by experts in their fields. The confirmation includes material, media, language, teacher and peer validation. The research results found that the physics-based learning module was scientifically based on improving critical thinking skills in Dynamic Fluid material for high school / MA students, which were developed to meet the validity criteria. In conclusion, the physics-based learning module to improve critical thinking skills in Dynamic Fluid material for high school / MA students is very well developed.
