This research was conducted to describe the results of the analysis of the implementation of IT-based learning at the Bunga Bangsa Kindergarten Islamic School Bekasi. This analysis includes understanding the concept of IT-based learning implemented at the Bunga Bangsa Islamic School Kindergarten, knowing the obstacles in the implementation of IT-based learning at the Bunga Bangsa Kindergarten Islamic School Bekasi and describing the strategies carried out in implementing IT learning at the Bunga Bangsa Islamic School Kindergarten. This research was conducted for 3 months with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection is done by interviews, observation and analysis of documents in the form of curriculum documents, RPPH learning planning and assessment of children's learning outcomes and documentation of the use of IT tools used in learning. Data analysis begins by describing the findings of the study and then conducts an objective discussion with a theoretical approach. In this study, the learning process was described in the Bunga Bangsa Islamic School Kindergarten and the use of technological tools in various aspects of learning components such as media, learning resources and also as learning support. The learning process is more interesting and not monotonous, thus creating a fun and interactive atmosphere. The constraints found were that there was still a lack of teacher references to using IT tools in learning associated with activities in the theme and the lack of teachers' skills in using existing IT tools. Current efforts to overcome these obstacles are by providing various references in the form of videos, books and workshops on the use of IT in learning.

Abstract. The university is known for its complexity and continuous change. Junior faculty should be incorporated and adjusted to the university structure and functioning. In addition, they have to implement a set of teaching competencies to promote an effective process of teaching and learning, and the student achievement of specific learning outcomes. For this reason, this paper advocates the need to implement mentoring programs between senior and junior faculty as a process that involves learning, support and mutual enrichment. Thus, two mentoring projects developed at the University of Granada are described. It is shown to be effective in strengthening efforts towards faculty achieving goals and its well-being.Keywords: higher education, faculty, mentorship, teaching competenciesResumen.

Many learning theories explain that prior knowledge, prospects, and learning behavior affect student learning outcomes. Related with these theories, this study aimed to describe these three variables for graduate students and their correlation in learning in the BIPA elective program (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing/Indonesian Language for Native Speakers). In addition, this study also described the implications of these three variables on student learning outcomes. Therefore, this study used a quantitative approach involving 17 graduate students who choose BIPA specialization programs. Data about the prospects and learning behavior were collected using a questionnaire, while the student's prior knowledge data was collected using a test instrument that contained general knowledge about BIPA. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes were obtained from student achievement index modified to a standard score. Data analysis used multiple correlation techniques. The findings of the study indicate that the prior knowledge of students about BIPA is in a low category, their prospects and learning behavior are in the high category, and the achievement index shows that their learning outcomes are in the very high category. Student prior knowledge does not correlate with prospects and learning behavior, whereas student learning behavior correlates with their prospects. Simultaneously, the three variables do not correlate with their learning outcomes.

This paper provides some insight into students' performance and perceptions within the context of an introductory psychology course in which Web-based materials and activities were used to enhance teaching effectiveness and learning outcomes. The paper begins with an overview of the development and implementation of this French-language WebCT course. The rationale behind the adoption of WebCT and the use of a number of its tools are also discussed. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of this pedagogical approach, we collected quantitative and qualitative information on student performance and perceptions from a number of sources throughout the term. The data highlight some of the strengths and weaknesses of this particular use of online teaching and learning support.

Background: Learning outcomes are changes in student behavior due to learning. Behavior change is caused by achieving mastery over a number of materials given in the teaching and learning process. These results can be in the form of changes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 1 Kairatu on the excretion system in humans which is taught by applying the inquiry learning model combined with the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model. Method: The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. In this study, tests were given at the beginning and end of learning aimed to determine the level of student understanding of the material excretory system in humans. Non-test techniques in the form of affective assessment sheets and psychomotor assessment sheets. Results: Students' understanding of material in the Excretion System in humans prior to the implementation of the inquiry learning model combined with the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model is very low but, when integrating these two learning models there are many changes in student understanding that can be seen from their learning outcomes. Conclusion: There is an increase in student learning outcomes after conducting the teaching and learning process by using the inquiry learning model that is integrated with the POE (Predict-Observe- Explain) learning model on excretory material in humans

Ten years ago, after 20 years as a university professor, I was asked to direct the teaching and learning support center at my university. I quickly realized I had almost no knowledge of the published scholarship on this subject. From my reading of this literature, I found the research on the predictors of student learning particularly informative. In particular, I gained an appreciation for the impact of course design. In this article, I summarize a framework for designing “significant learning experiences.” In discussing the three key components of course design (learning outcomes, learning activities, and learning assessments), I offer tips and give examples relevant for the field of management. My intent is to share the most important information I have learned from a decade of conversations with experts on student learning—the things I wish someone had taught me 30 years ago.
