The main task of non-state dental clinics is an active promotion of its’ services in the market. This thesis determines the typical models of market behavior. However, the making of dental service market is accompanied with a number of problems and their solution is a most important task of non-state dental clinic managers. The development of dental clinics in modern conditions requires significant financial investment — into the purchase of building or facilities, purchase of modern equipment and staff training as well as advertising. Attracting of investment or long-term bank credits becomes the barest necessity. Forming of clinic attractiveness for investment for clinic development should be realized on the base of competent business-plan elaboration of a clinic development that demonstrates evidently the specific advantages of the project, the degree of risk, payback and profitability.

Abstract Opioids are often the first-line chronic pain management strategy for long-term care (LTC) residents who are also at increased risk for opioid-related adverse events. Therefore, there is a need to train LTC providers and staff about appropriate opioid use and alternative treatment strategies. Our interdisciplinary team worked with LTC partners to identify staff educational needs around opioid stewardship. Based on this need’s assessment, we developed eight modules about opioid use and risks for older adults, including those with dementia, recommendations for de-prescribing including other pharmacological and non-pharmacological alternatives, SBIRT, and motivational interviewing to determine “what matters”. Each 20-minute module contains didactic and video content that is appropriate for group staff training or individuals and provides rural LTC facilities access to needed training in their home communities. Within the first month of launching online, the program received over 1100 hits and LTC partners are incorporating modules into clinical staff training schedules.

AbstractThe regional differences in the housing markets are enormous and will continue to exacerbate in the future. The main task for the housing policy is to take appropriate long term measures depending on the market structure. A central aspect of future housing policy is the site development. Potential conflicts of interest with other social objectives must be detected and resolved. Creating a trading system for development rights appears to be promising. In order to secure housing for low income households, the housing allowance (Wohngeld) must be promptly adjusted to the market conditions. The public housing sector should be seen as an instrument for the stabilization of neighborhoods. Appropriate market rents secure a housing supply at a high level.

The article describes humanitarian diplomacy that has to break a potential ideological ice between belligerent parties, establish a network of diplomatic connections in a skillful way, and use every opportunity available to support victims of war. An indisputable fact is that the higher the reputation and the stronger the trust to those using humanitarian diplomacy strategies, the better results will be achieved. The combination of diplomacy and humanitarian activities may lead to the emergence of unexpected interactions. The International Federation of Red Cross mentions that the goal humanitarian diplomacy seeks to achieve is the provision of better care for socially disadvantaged groups of society from governments; establishment of closer ties with decision-makers to generate opportunities to influence them; maintenance of a permanent dialogue at both national and international levels; engagement to a discussion of those who work in the field of humanitarian diplomacy; increase in transparency of such discussion; enhancement of the ability to govern all the useful resources; cooperation with other actors pursuing the same humanitarian goals. Humanitarian diplomacy has to direct its actions at all crises and to both governmental and non-governmental entities of international law; take into account that its aim is to open borders and establish humanitarian corridors ensuring the provision of direct assistance to refugees. The main task is to guarantee long-term actions, while avoiding temporary and fragile alternatives. That is the basis for humanitarian diplomacy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta with all its peculiarities. Keywords: the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Red Cross, international law, humanitarian diplomacy, crises.

The article examines the development of the theoretical concept of stakeholders, a comparative analysis of approaches to the definition and grouping of stakeholders depending on their impact on the functioning of the organisation. The objective nature of the emergence of strategic stakeholder management as a modern concept of organisation management, operating in an unstable environment, is substantiated. Based on the analysis of theoretical approaches to substantiation of the essence of the concept of stakeholder management, the necessity and peculiarities of its application in strategic management of organisations in modern business conditions are shown. The main task of stakeholder management is identified, which is not just to maintain mutually beneficial interaction between all stakeholders, but to find mechanisms to improve the effectiveness of joint activities as a holistic system that includes the interests of all stakeholders. Based on the generalisation of all tools and mechanisms of strategic stakeholder management, two main approaches are identified - resource and relationship. It is noted that the relational approach means the formation of social capital, which in itself is a strategic resource, as it ensures the reputation of the business and promotes competitive advantage. It was found that in strategic management there are already certain principles of stakeholder management: systematic relationships, strategic orientation of all stakeholders to develop business strategies that take into account the interests, values and long-term goals of the organisation; mutual benefit of relations with stakeholders; the need to balance the interests of stakeholders; proactive management; focus on sustainable development and long-term relationships; transparency and accountability in non-financial relationships. It is substantiated that the result of effective stakeholder management is the value of the organisation. It is created by the joint efforts of all stakeholders on the basis of their interaction and depends on the availability, sufficiency and effectiveness of management of all resources and types of capital.

Nowadays, multi-criteria decision-making techniques are highly developed, and are widely applied in multiple fields. They model and solve decisional problems by optimising multiple conflicting objectives. These techniques are very useful because they simultaneously analyse all the different criteria, and select the best alternatives according to the decision-maker’s objectives and preferences. An important issue in this context is the adequacy of the structure of corporate long-term financing and its potential impact on the sustainable development of the long-term business plan. The purpose of this study is to advance the analysis of these strategic decisions, measuring the a posteriori results and analysing their coherence with the strategies followed a priori. To do this, sustainable strategic decisions will be mathematically modelled and parametrised, creating a system to study the preferences followed and to describe the corporate behaviour. This system is applied as a case example for two leading companies in the digital sector, and the corresponding results over the last few years are evaluated.

The main task for ensuring the quality of functional shelf-stable products is the availability of methods for assessing the shelf life, the use of which will allow not only assessing the quality of the product, but also its functional properties throughout the entire shelf life of the product. Currently, the possibility of developing a method of accelerated storage for functional milk-based products for long-term storage using the ASLT method and mathematical modeling has been established, based on the available accumulated statistical data on indicators of oxidative spoilage, the content of free amino acids and parameters for evaluating protein hydrolysis products. This work evaluates the role of organoleptic analysis in confirming the shelf life of products, considers the main processes that affect the change in organoleptic characteristics during storage. Based on the results of the work performed, recommendations were given on the use of the method of organoleptic assessment in relation to functional milk-based products when using the accelerated storage method.

This article examines the effectiveness of management and quality improvement due to the various tools considered in the article; it gives recommendations for improving the efficiency of staff, training it for a new level and improve its qualifications and the efficiency of the hotel. In the face of fierce competition, hotel companies come up with and carry out new searches for modern methods of increasing competitiveness between hotel companies and creating demand for hotel services. One of the ways to make a hotel competitive is to enhance the hotel services in the enterprise. Hotel services directly depend on the competence of the staff, on their preparedness and stress resistance. In turn, the hotel company must contain satisfied employees to service hotel guests. Basically, the HR department monitors the number of personnel, their main task is to have as many employees in the company as should be in the staffing table. But now today it is important for the personnel department to achieve not only the timely filling of personnel, but to hire competent employees with good knowledge and qualifications. It is necessary to retain a good worker by offering and developing good working conditions, a system of motivation and quality management. As a result, an agreed personnel policy will be developed, which includes a system of personnel selection, training, improvement, personnel remuneration, as well as an established policy and subordination between management and subordinates. This article examines how, by applying different methods, to build good relationships between employees, to increase the motivation system, and to be a competitive hotel.

Background. The control of biological hazard risk in health care and dental clinic environments represents a critical point in relation to the Covid-19 infection outbreak and international public health emergency. The purpose of the present review was to evaluate the scientific literature on the no-touch disinfection procedures in dental clinics aiming to limit transmission via airborne particles or fomites using no-touch procedures for environmental decontamination of dental clinics. Methods. An electronic database literature search was performed to retrieve research papers about Covid-19 and no-touch disinfection topics including full-length articles, editorials, commentaries, and outbreak studies. A total of 86 papers were retrieved by the electronic research. Results. No clinical article about the decontamination of a dental clinic during the Covid-19 pandemic was detected. About the topic of hospital decontamination, we found different no-touch disinfection procedures used in hospital against highly resistant organisms, but no data were found in the search for such procedures with respect to SARS-CoV-2: (1) aerosolized hydrogen peroxide, (2) H2O2 vapor, (3) ultraviolet C light, (4) pulsed xenon, and (5) gaseous ozone. One paper was retrieved concerning SARS-CoV-2; 32 documents focused on SARS and MERS. The cleaning and disinfection protocol of health care and dental clinic environment surfaces are essential elements of infection prevention programs, especially during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Conclusion. The decontamination technique that best suits the needs of the dental clinic is peroxide and hypochlorous which can be sprayed via a device at high turbine speed with the ability of producing small aerosol particles, recommendable also for their low cost.
