The purpose of this study was to determine how the students' mathematical reasoning abilities towards the matrix material. The data in this study were obtained from the results of filling out questionnaires and also interviews. Sources of data in this study were the subjects from which the data were obtained, namely students of class XI-MIPA 3 SMA N 1 Tawangsari. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the data analysis from the questionnaire showed that the average percentage of student responses to mathematical reasoning abilities on the matrix material was 60.75% and was in the medium category. With the percentage on each indicator, namely on indicator 1 (students do calculations with the applicable mathematical formula / rules) of 55.63% so that it is included in the moderate category, students with the moderate category have aspects of the ability to understand question commands and are only weak at calculation operations. In indicator 2 (students draw general conclusions based on mathematical processes / concepts) the percentage is 61.25% so it is included in the medium category. In indicator 3 (students make estimates) the percentage is 81.25% so that it is included in the high category, students with high categories have aspects of the ability to understand question commands, question logic and can complete counting operations. While the percentage on indicator 4 (students draw conclusions based on the similarity of mathematical processes / concepts that are seen) is 54.5% so it is included in the low category, students with low categories have aspects of the question's melogical ability and are only weak in counting operations. The average percentage of the four indicators is 63.16% so that student responses can be said to be in the medium category. In this study, checking the validity of the data used triangulation techniques, namely by comparing the results of the study with the results of interviews. From the comparison of data analysis with questionnaires and interviews, it can be concluded that students with mathematical reasoning on the matrix material are in the medium category.

Abstract. This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to improve the mathematical reasoning ability of students of class VIII Mts Islamiyah Medan through the Open-Ended approach. The subjects in this study were all students of class VIII-1 MTs Islamiyah Medan, totaling 24 students. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle I and II, each of which consisted of two meetings. The instruments used in this study were observation guidelines for implementing learning with the Open-Ended approach, cycle tests to measure students' mathematical reasoning abilities towards learning mathematics with the Open-Ended approach, interview guidelines and documentation. Data from observations, tests, and questionnaires were analyzed quantitatively which was strengthened by the results of interviews and descriptive qualitative documentation. The results showed that the mathematical reasoning ability of students in class VIII-1 MTs Islamiyah Medan increased from cycle I to cycle II after learning was carried out with the Open-Ended approach. This is shown by as many as 20 students or 83.3% experienced an increase in mathematical reasoning ability based on the total score of aspects of mathematical reasoning ability. The average percentage of test scores increased from 66.6% in the first cycle to 83.3% in the second cycle and in the high category. Based on observations of the implementation of learning with the Open-Ended approach is good and in accordance with the characteristics of the Open-Ended Approach. Based on the results of interviews and questionnaire results data student responses to mathematics learning in relation to mathematical reasoning abilities, increased from cycle I to cycle II.Keywords: Mathematical Reasoning Ability, Open-Ended Approach.

<p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal <em>HOTS</em> geometri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Madiun pada 32 siswa kelas IX H tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Selanjutnya, dipilih satu subjek pada masing-masing kategori yaitu kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi, kemampuan penalaran matematis sedang, dan kemampuan penalaran matematis rendah untuk dilakukan analisis data dengan melihat kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa berdasarkan indikator; mengajukan dugaan, melakukan manipulasi matematika, memberikan alasan atau bukti dan menarik kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan penalaran kategori rendahmenuliskan jawaban dengan tidak tepat dan hanya memenuhi indikator penalaran matematis pertama yakni mengajukan dugaan. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis kategori sedang menjawab soal kurang lengkap dan memenuhi dua indikator penalaran matematis; mengajukan dugaan dan menarik kesimpulan. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis kategori tinggi menuliskan jawaban dengan tepat, lengkap dan memenuhi semua indikator penalaran matematis: mengajukan dugaan, melakukan manipulasi matematika, memberikan alasan atau bukti dan menarik kesimpulan.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci:</strong> Penalaran matematis; Soal <em>HOTS</em>, Geometri</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong>: This study aims to describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities in solving geometric HOTS problem. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Madiun on 32 students of class IX H for the 2020/2021 school year. Furthermore, one subject was selected in each category, namely high mathematical reasoning ability, medium mathematical reasoning ability, and low mathematical reasoning ability for data analysis by looking at students' mathematical reasoning abilities based on indicators; making conjectures, performing mathematical manipulations, providing reasons or evidence and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate that students who have low category reasoning abilities write answers incorrectly and only satisfy the first mathematical reasoning indicator, namely making conjectures. Students who have the medium category of mathematical reasoning write answer incomplete and satisfy two indicators of mathematical reasoning; making conjectures and drawing conclusions. Students who have high category mathematical reasoning abilities write answers accurately, completely and satisfy all indicators of mathematical reasoning: making conjectures, performing mathematical manipulations, providing reasons or evidence and drawing conclusions.</p><p><strong>Key words: </strong>Mathematical reasoning; HOTS Problem, Geometry<strong></strong></p>

One of the purpose of mathematics is to develop students’ mathematical reasoning abilities. But in the fact indicate that objective can’t be realized optimally. This research aims to determine the effect of application Van Hiele theory aided software wingeom to mathematical reasoning ability students on geometry. This research is case study with a sample of 40 students and using technique purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data used questionnaire and essay tests. Based on analysis of questionnaire obtained an average percentage of 63,04%, that means the student responded strongly. While mathematical reasoning ability is quite an average of 67,25%. Based on the hypothesis test analysis whit significance 5% show there is the effect of application Van Hiele theory aided software wingeom to mathematical reasoning ability on geometry. From the regression equation obtained  = 8,482 + 0,847 X. The coefficient is positive, that means there is a positive correlation between the application Van Hiele theory aided software Wingeom and mathematical reasoning ability. The coefficient of determination 0,166 meaning that 16% variable mathematical reasoning ability is determined by the Van Hiele theory aided application software wingeom, while the remaining 84% is explained by other variable. The application of Van Hiele theory aided Wingeom software significantly affect students’ mathematical reasoning ability on geometry.

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Reciprocal Teaching with role cards to improve student mathematical reasoning abilities on trigonometry material. Mathematical reasoning is thinking about mathematical problems logically to solve a problem and give reasons for a solution. One of the lessons learned to overcome the low mathematical reasoning ability is the learning of Reciprocal Teaching models using role cards. The steps of Reciprocal Teaching activities include question generating, clarifying, predicting, and summarizing. Before the Reciprocal Teaching steps are carried out, students are given a role card to determine the students who become model teachers. This research is a classroom action research. Based on the research that has been done, it is known that the application of the Reciprocal Teaching model increases the mathematical reasoning ability of students in XI grade IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 8 Malang on the Trigonometry with an increase in class average from initial 73 to 60 in cycle I and to 73 in cycle II. In addition, the average percentage increase in students' mathematical reasoning also increased from 60% to 73%.

This study aims to see the effect of realistic mathemathic education models on students' mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of learning styles. This type of research is quantitative. Data collection techniques used are essay tests and interviews. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing using anava 2 roads. However, before the anova test is carried out, the normality, homogeneity and balance test are carried out first. Based on the data that has been known that normal data, based on the same and balanced variance, the 2-way ANOVA test results show that there is an influence of the RTE model on students' mathematical reasoning ability, namely the reasoning ability of students with the RME model treatment is better than mathematical reasoning ability with conventional treatment methods. In addition, there is the influence of student learning styles on students' reasoning abilities.

this study aimed to analyze the matematical reasoning abilities of studens in the class X3 in SMAN 1 Luwuk, particulary in the work on the problems related material mathematical logic. this study was a descriptive exploratory research, to provide an overview of mathematical logic. blunting procedure dat used were observation, test, interview, and documentation. the technique of data analysis include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. respondents were used in this study were 32 students were given about the written test and 9 respondents consiting of the principal of SMAN 1 Luwuk, math theacher, and learners to do the interview. indicators to see the reasoning abilities of learners in this study are: 1) submit a guess, 2) perform mathematical manipulation, 3)draw conclusion from a atatment. the result showed taht the ability of mathematical reasoning learners class X3 SMAN 1 Luwuk are in the category of presentation is sufficient, it is caused by factors, among others, learners do not have the concept of a good foundation, they cultivate a way of learning that is not good, and the role of theacher as motivator, mediator and facilitator less work. for that to assist students in developing the mathematical reasoning abilities in the learning process, teachers pay attention to the intellect of students, as well as more instill basic concepts of mathematics, especially the use of reason, more attention to the strategies, methods and ways to teach well.

The purpose of this study is to produce a mathematics handout with PMRI approach to facilitate students mathematical reasoning on valid and practical matrix material. The research type used in this research and development is the ADDIE model. The stages in the ADDIE model are: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments used were interview sheets, and validation questionnaires (media experts and material experts), practicality questionnaires (student responses). Data analysis used is to calculate the valid and practical scale of the resulting development product. Qualitative data analysis was obtained from the comments or suggestions given by media experts and material experts. Based on the validation results by 2 material experts, it was obtained a percentage of 83% was categorized as valid, and 2 media experts obtained a percentage of 76% in the valid category. The trial was conducted at Muhammadiyah High School 1 Way Jepara with a total of 6 students to see the practicality of the handout developed. The practicality results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 79.33% and categorized as practical. Based on the predetermined criteria, the mathematics handout that has been developed meets the valid and practical category.

This study aims to investigate how significant the ability of mathematical reasoning is influenced by the independence of learning on comparative materials. The method used in this study is correlational method with quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of SMP / MTs in Kota Cimahi and the samples were 30 students of MTs Al-Musyahadah Cimahi. The instrument in this research is a test of 6 questions about comparison of mathematical reasoning ability and 32 scale statements of scale self-learning. The data analysis technique, which was applied, is the prerequisite analysis test in the form of normality test and correlation test. The results of this study concluded that students' mathematical reasoning ability on comparison material is positively influenced by learning independence 57.33% and the remaining 42.67% is determined by other factors.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruhi kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis pada materi perbandingan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP/MTs di Kota Cimahi dan sampelnya sebanyak 30 orang di MTs Al-Musyahadah Cimahi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan penalaran matematis sebanyak 6 butir soal materi perbandingan yang sudah divalidasi serta diuji cobakan dan skala kemandirian belajar sebanyak 32 skala pernyataan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu berupa uji normalitas dan uji kolerasi. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada materi perbandingan dipengaruhi positif oleh kemandirian belajarnya 57,33% dan sisanya 42,67% ditentukan oleh faktor lain.  Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis, Kemandirian Belajar

This study aims to describe: (1) the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching materials developed based on expert validators. practitioners, as well as based on the implementation of teaching materials; 2) To describe the improvement of students' mathematical reasoning abilities by using teaching materials with a metacognition approach; This research is a development research conducted in two stages, namely the first stage of developing learning tools through the metacognition approach using the Dick & Carey development model and the second stage of testing teaching materials based on the metacognition approach developed in classes VIII-1 and VIII-4 MTs Hifzhil Qur. 'an Medan. (1) the developed teaching materials meet the valid and effective criteria based on the expert validator and practitioner assessment; and effective based on classical completeness, student responses, and the ability of teachers to manage learning; (2) in the first trial there was an increase in mathematical reasoning abilities using the teaching materials developed in the low category, namely 0.24 and in the second trial there was an increase in mathematical reasoning abilities using the teaching materials developed in the medium category, which was 0.52.

Inovasi layanan drive-thru perpustakaan merupakan sebuah layanan yang diciptakan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Inovasi layanan drive-thru ini berbentuk tempat / loket untuk melayani kebutuhan pemustaka tanpa harus turun dari kendaraan. Inovasi ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pelayanan kepada pemustaka dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan budaya literasi.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan inovasi layanan drive-thru di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Kriteria Inovasi menurut PermenPANRB nomor 3 Tahun  2018 meliputi 5 variabel yang terdiri atas Kebaruan, Efektif , Bermanfaat , Dapat direplikasi, dan Berkelanjutan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara,observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, pemaparan dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk hasil penelitian menunjukkan inovasi layanan drive-thru memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Pada kriteria kebaruan menunjukkan inovasi drive-thru merupakan suatu penemuan baru serta menawarkan cara baru dalam melayani pemustaka melalui loket. Untuk kriteria efektif tujuan dari diciptakannya drive-thru adalah untuk memudahkan pemustaka sudah memenuhi, tetapi untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi belum tercapai. Untuk kriteria bermanfaat sudah dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dan bagi dinas yang menerapkannya. Pada dapat direplikasi inovasi ini dapat menjadi contoh/rujukan karena sudah ada beberapa instansi yang menduplikasinya, lalu kriteria terakhir keberlanjutan untuk kedepan inovasi ini akan tetap dipertahankan karena mendapat dukungan dari berbagai stakeholder. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah lebih menggalakan sosialisasi agar drive-thru ini bisa lebih berkembang dan dimanfaatkan oleh lebih banyak orang.    Kata kunci : Inovasi Layanan, Drive Thru Perpustakaan, Budaya Literasi   The library's drive-thru service innovation is a service created by the Library and Archives Office of East Java Province. This drive-thru service innovation is in the form of a counter to serve the needs of visitors without having to get off the vehicle. This innovation aims to facilitate service to users in the hope that it can improve literacy culture. The purpose of this study is to describe the drive-thru service innovation in the Department of Library and Archives of East Java Province. The focus of this research is the Innovation Criteria according to the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PermenPANRB) number 3 of 2018 covering 5 variables consisting of novelty, effectiveness, benefit, transferbility, and sustainability. This type of research is a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. For data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation, presentation and conclusion drawing. The research results show that drive-thru service innovation has advantages and disadvantages. The novelty criterion indicates that drive-thru innovation is a new invention and offers a new way of serving visitors through the counter. . For the effective criteria, the purpose of creating a drive-thru is to make it easier for users to fulfill it, but to improve literacy culture has not been achieved. For useful criteria, it can provide benefits for the community and for the agencies that implement them. If this innovation can be replicated, it can be used as an example / reference because there are already several agencies that duplicate it. Then the last criteria for sustainability for the future of this innovation will be maintained because it has the support of various stakeholders. Suggestions that can be given are to promote more socialization so that this drive-thru can be more developed and utilized by more people.
