<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, guidance and counseling teachers are demanded to keep running counseling services using various alternatives of online learning applications. At the same time, parents as the main assistants in the online counseling process should actively encourage their children to have active participation. It is because the majority of parents consider that all the things related to school activities are totally teachers’ responsibility. Thus, the present study attempted to find, reveal, and describe the role of parents in the implementation of supporting technology for online counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. AbstractIn his seminal bookThe Great Divergence, Kenneth Pomeranz has argued that access to inputs from the vast acreages available in the Americas was crucial for the Industrial Revolution in Britain. But could no other regions of the world have provided the inputs in demand? Recent research claims that this could have been the case. This article takes that research one step further by studying Britain’s trade with an old and important peripheral trading partner, the Baltic, contrasting this to the British trade with America. The article shows that production for export was not necessarily stagnating in the Baltic, as Pomeranz has claimed. Qualitative aspects of the factor endowment of land did not, however, enable the production of specific raw materials, such as cotton, to meet the increasing demand. Thus, the decreasing role of the Baltic ought to a large extent to be attributed to the patterns of British industrialization, and the demand it created for specific raw materials, rather than internal, institutional constraints in the Baltic region.

“GUIDANCE WITH MEDIA, COUNSELING WITH HATI” FOR STUDENT IDENTITY DEVELOPING. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is feared to have a significant impact, where the role of machines or robots will replace the work and role of humans. The explosion of unemployment and the destruction of the existing work system, towards the threshold of extinction. Therefore, Guidance and Counseling Services in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a complex challenge that must be addressed optimistically because artificial intelligence robots will not replace this service field. The acceleration of technology and digital products in this era predicted to make many people put forward emotion more than empathy. A relaxed and comfortable lifestyle will be inversely proportional if expectations do not match reality. Guidance and Counseling Services will be increasingly expected to be able to anticipate the situation of those who experience cognitive distortions. Research on instructional media in Guidance and Counseling services with the theme Guiding with Media, Counseling of HATI proves that the role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers is still very much needed in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

The nature of children’s development is greatly influenced by the environmental conditions in which they are brought up. The amount of social stimulation which they receive is of particular importance, and even if physical conditions are adequate, an unstimulating environment which provides with little opportunity or need to experiment or solve problems will result in low level of achievement.
