The purpose of this study was to discuss the ethical role of the guidance and counseling profession, especially the principle of confidentiality in the implementation of online counseling. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative literature review that examines several scientific articles accompanied by the results of interviews and previous research results. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study explain that counselors have an ethical responsibility to explain the meaning of confidentiality in group counseling. The principle of confidentiality is important considering that the professional ethics of the counselor pays more attention to the privacy of the counselee, because it will involve comfort and security in receiving counseling services. In the implementation of online counseling, counselors can anticipate the possibility of unwanted violations by making efforts such as: (1) Conducting interviews and evaluations when forming groups, (2) Conducting in-depth observations when providing classical services in the classroom, (3) Grouping individuals who voluntarily and voluntarily participate in group activities, (4) Giving informed consent containing personal data, applicable rules, and cooperation agreements which contain the privacy security of themselves and other members, (5) Members affix their signatures on the under a statement about what they will accept if they do not fulfill it.

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, guidance and counseling teachers are demanded to keep running counseling services using various alternatives of online learning applications. At the same time, parents as the main assistants in the online counseling process should actively encourage their children to have active participation. It is because the majority of parents consider that all the things related to school activities are totally teachers’ responsibility. Thus, the present study attempted to find, reveal, and describe the role of parents in the implementation of supporting technology for online counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. To do so, the researchers adopted an online survey method and cross-sectional technique to analyze the data of 350 student's parents in Semarang Regency as the respondents of this study. Generally, the findings indicated that parents with high level of understanding tend to provide great support for the online counseling services given to their children.</p><p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0952/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

This study develops an e-counseling application as an effort to improve the provision of guidance and counseling services at Senior High School 1 Jeneponto. The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) Knowing the field needs of the e-counseling application (2) Knowing the prototype of the e-counseling application as an effort to improve the provision of guidance and counseling services at Senior High School 1 Jeneponto, (3) Knowing the validity of the e-counseling application. as an effort to improve the provision of guidance and counseling services at Senior High School 1 Jeneponto. This study used the Borg and Gall Research and Development (RnD) method but only reached the Second Revision stage. This research was conducted at Senior High School 1 Jeneponto with 6 students as research subjects. The data collection technique used was the Material and Media Expert Validation Sheet to determine the validity of the media and the student response questionnaire. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. So the results show that the e-counseling application developed has been valid and practically used for the provision of guidance and counseling services at Senior High School 1 Jeneponto.

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui tentang eksistensi layanan bimbingan dan konseling selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana guru BK  dalam  menangani  peserta  didik  dalam  penyesuaian  diri,  penanaman  pendidikan karakter  islami,  dan  bimbingan  apa  saja  yang  disediakan  selama  masa  pademi  COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey.  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa penting  guru BK dalam memberikan layanan  bimbingan  dan  konseling  terhadap  peserta  didik  pada  masa  pandemi.  Peneliti menggunakan sampel empat sekolah di Sidoarjo yang terdiri dari dua SMA dan dua SMP, dengan banyaknya responden 36 peserta didik dan di antarannya ada 6 peserta didik yang melakukan  survey  secara  langsung  dengan  peneliti.    Kesimpulan  pada  penelitian  ini adalah, peserta didik membutuhkan layanan konseling online, apalagi dalam bidang minat dan  bakat,  dan  peran  guru  bimbingan  dan  konseling  pada  masa  sekarang  sangatlah penting.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrac:</strong> The study was conducted to find out about the existence of guidance and counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study focuses on how BK teachers deal with students in adjusting, planting Islamic character education, and what guidance is provided during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses quantitative research with survey method. This study was conducted to find out how important BK teachers are in providing guidance and counseling services to students during the pandemic. The researcher used a sample of four schools in Sidoarjo which consisted of two high schools and two junior high schools, with 36 respondents as a number of students and of them there were 6 students who conducted a direct survey with the researcher. The conclusion of this study is that students need online counseling services, especially in the field of interests and talents, and the role of guidance and counseling teachers at this time is very important.

<p class="06IsiAbstrak"><strong>Implementation of Guidance and Counseling Management at MTs NU TBS Kudus</strong><strong>. </strong>This study aims to determine the implementation of guidance and counseling management at MTs TBS Kudus. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach at MTs TBS Kudus. The collected data was then analyzed by the data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive analysis in the field of the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the implementation of the management of counseling guidance at MTs TBS Kudus has been going well. The program planning stage is by analyzing student needs and problems, analyzing school conditions, determining goals, understanding and determining materials, determining time and place, determining facilities and planning budgets. The organizing stage is carried out by selecting a competent counselor. The stage of implementing guidance and counseling at MTs TBS Kudus by carrying out counseling services in accordance with SOP equipped with supporting activities. The evaluation stage of the BK program is by evaluating programs and then improving them again.</p><strong>Keywords:</strong> Implementation, Counseling Guidance Management, MTs TBS Kudus

This study developed truth and dare monopoly counseling guidance media to increase self-confidence in students. The focus of this research is: 1) How is the description of the service needs of the truth and dare game counseling guidance media effective in increasing self-confidence in students at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar ?, 2) What is the level of validity of the truth and dare game monopoly game counseling guidance media to be applied to students at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar ?, 3) What is the level of acceptance of the truth and dare monopoly game counseling guidance media to be applied to students at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar? The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) Knowing the description of the service needs of the truth and dare monopoly game counseling guidance media is effective in increasing self-confidence in students at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, 2) Knowing the level of validity of the truth and dare game counseling guidance media for applied to students at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, 3) Knowing the level of acceptance of the truth and dare monopoly game counseling guidance media to be applied to students at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar. This article aims to examine and describe the influence of guidance and counseling management on learning discipline. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method using survey techniques. Data collection techniques that used are documentation studies and field studies. Moreover, the data analysis technique that has been used to answer the research hypothesis is statistical analysis with a path analysis model. The location of the study was at the Ciledug Vocational High School Al-Musaddadiyah Garut, with 85 respondents taking part in the survey. The results of the discussion show that guidance and counseling management has a positive and significant effect on the discipline of learning

The nature of children’s development is greatly influenced by the environmental conditions in which they are brought up. The amount of social stimulation which they receive is of particular importance, and even if physical conditions are adequate, an unstimulating environment which provides with little opportunity or need to experiment or solve problems will result in low level of achievement. Perhaps the most important aspect of the child’s social development is beyond the reach of the teacher. For the first very important aspect of the child’s development lies in the home. Genetic endowment and cultural level of the family, coupled with the actual physical conditions of the home will have decisive effect on the child’s development and will continue to influence him throughout his school life. These factors are inaccessible to be influenced by the teacher but it is as well for him to have them in mind in his dealings with pupils. In addition, he will need to know how he may most effectively change his pupils along the lives he considers to be the most appropriate. That is, he will seek out the most efficient ways of getting pupils learn for productive life in future. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena minat baca siswa dan pengaruh minat baca terhadap pertumbuhan kemampuan belajar siswa pada jenjang-jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Kepala sekolah sebagai lokomotif perkembangan mutu pendidikan memiliki peran strategi bagi pengumbuhan dan pengembangan minat baca peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator, manajer, dan innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif lapangan, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik meliputi meliputi tiga pembinaan, yakni pembinaan mental dan moral, serta pembinaan artistik. 2) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai manajer dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam meliputi penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen dengan didasarkan pada pada kerjasama dengan USAID dan UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang meliputi inovasi strategi, pola pikir (mindset) dan struktur. Abstract This research is motivated by the phenomenon of reading interest of students and the influence of reading interest on the growth of students' learning ability in the next level of education. The principal as a locomotive of the development of the quality of education has a strategic role for the growth and development of reading interest of learners. This study aims to determine the role of principal as an educator, manager, and innovator in the development of reading interest of learners in MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City. This research is a qualitative field research, data collected through observation, interview, documentation and triangulation, and analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of principal as an educator in the development of reading interest of learners includes three activities are coaching, namely mental and moral coaching, and artistic coaching. 2) The role of principal as manager in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam covers the application of management functions based on cooperation with USAID and UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) The role of principal as innovator in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City includes innovation strategy, mindset, and structure.

Academic dishonesty is a morality problem that is often found in every level of education. It becomes a concern among guidance and counseling practitioner in the educational context. Regarding previous studies, spiritual-religious attitudes and moral disengagement predict individuals’ academic dishonesty. To complete the gap of those studies, the current study investigated the role of moral disengagement to mediate the relationship between spiritual-religious attitudes and academic dishonesty in university students. There were 292 respondents from four universities in Semarang participated in this study. The authors used a cross-sectional study and utilized google form to collect the data. The authors conducted three analyses, regression-based path analysis, mediation analysis using bias-corrected and bootstrapping. The results showed that there was a direct relationship among all variables, but they're found no mediation effect on moral disengagement. These findings imply the importance of counseling services to preserve students’ morality so they could avoid academic dishonesty.

The community role is needed in the implementation of mangrove forest tourism management, especially in planning activities. The role of the community is the involvement of community itself in the development activities, both in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and the stages of esnjoying the results of the development itself. The purpose in this descriptive qualitative study was to determine the role of community in managing mangrove forest tourism in the subdistrict of Sukadana of Kayong Utara regency. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the analysis was carried out with descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the role of of the sejahtera village community in managing mangrove forest tourism is limited to the maintenance of natural resources, maintenance of cleanliness and nursery of mangrove forests. Due to mangrove forest management is still fully managed by The Gunung Palung National Park Agency, the role of the community in the management of tourism in mangrove forests is still low. Therefore, the involvement of the surrounding community needs special attention and other related parties in utilizing mangrove forest tourism.Keyword: community role, mangrove forest, themanagement of mangrove tourism
