This article is devoted to the issues of assessing the effectiveness of information systems for enterprises engaged in retail trade in consumer goods. This article describes the tasks that the retail FMCG trade, as well as the functions of the retail trade, solve. The features of the subject area were considered, which will form the basis for the formation of scales for assessing the effectiveness of information systems. The priorities, tasks, and features of the business model of enterprises engaged in retail trade in consumer goods, depending on the market segment they occupy. Various types of corporate information systems that can be used in retail trade are considered. The analysis of the subject area made it possible not only to determine important metrics for assessing the effectiveness of information systems but also to determine the priority of the requirements for the availability of certain functionality in the information system from each business segment, large, medium and small. Also, the existing standards in the subject areas of software development and enterprise organization were considered. This article proposes a methodology for evaluating information systems for enterprises engaged in consumer goods retail trade that belong to different market segments. The proposed methodology is based on the approach of multi-criteria expert assessment. An example of linguistic variables for one of the questions of the questionnaire for experts is given. The order of operation of the expert system is also presented in the form of an activity diagram. The developed expert information system can be monetized by providing referral links to the products of companies supplying information systems for retail. In the future, it is planned to add the ability for qualified experts to select combination of metrics for assessment, as well as change the assessment scale to increase accuracy. Рассматривается проблема выбора оптимальных параметров интерфейса в информационных системах с целью его персонализации под предпочтения пользователя и возможности его оборудования. В настоящее время для ее решения используется алгоритмическое обеспечение и статистическая обработка предпочтений пользователей, что не обеспечивает достаточной гибкости и точности. Поэтому в данной работе предлагается применение разработанного метода адаптации параметров интерфейса, основанного на анализе и обработке пользовательской информации с помощью нейронных сетей. Научная новизна метода заключается в автоматизации сбора, анализа данных и настройки интерфейса за счет использования и интеграции нейронных сетей в информационную систему. Рассмотрена практическая реализация предлагаемого метода на Python. Экспертная оценка адаптивности интерфейса тестовой информационной системы после внедрения разработанного метода показала его перспективность и эффективность. Разработанный метод показывает лучшую точность и низкую сложность программной реализации относительно классического алгоритмического подхода. Полученные результаты могут использоваться для автоматизации процесса выбора компонентов интерфейса различных информационных систем. Дальнейшие исследования заключаются в развитии и интеграции разработанного метода в рамках фреймворка адаптации информационных систем Here we consider the problem of choosing the optimal parameters of the interface in information systems with the aim of personalizing it for the preferences of the user and the capabilities of his equipment. Currently, algorithmic support and statistical processing of user preferences are used to solve it, which does not provide sufficient flexibility and accuracy. Therefore, in this work, we propose the application of the developed method for adapting interface parameters based on the analysis and processing of user information using neural networks. The scientific novelty of the method is to automate the collection, analysis of data and interface settings through the use and integration of neural networks in the information system. We consider the practical implementation of the proposed method in Python. An expert assessment of the adaptability of the interface of the test information system after the implementation of the developed method showed its availability and efficiency. The developed method shows the best accuracy and low complexity of software implementation relative to the classical algorithmic approach. The results obtained can be used to automate the selection of interface components for various information systems. Further research consists in the development and integration of the developed method within the framework of the information systems adaptation framework

This article discusses the woodworking industry that sells timber and lumber. The analysis of the subject area was carried out, the problems of the company associated with the constant search for customers were identified; transfer of information, documents, reports on paper; lack of a single database for accounting documentation. In this regard, it was decided to select an information system that allows solving the identified problems. After a review of information systems, an information system was selected and implemented for the enterprise, which accelerates the process of paperwork for the sale of timber and lumber; increase the effi-ciency of processes for filling out documentation for the sale of forests; store customer information in a single database; keep records at all stages of harvested wood circulation and keep automated records in terms of harvesting, transportation, acceptance and shipment of roundwood.

One of the problems in the field of design and development of information systems remains the problem of transition between models of the subject area and models of the information system. To solve this problem, the concept of involving the end user (domain expert) in the development process is currently being applied. It is assumed that the end user is the main source of knowledge about the subject area, while he has practically no knowledge about the system. On the other hand, the development team has an opposite relationship between domain knowledge and system knowledge. The article discusses in detail the existing models of involving the end user in the process of developing information systems. On the basis of the identified shortcomings, a new model is proposed that does not require additional user knowledge when describing models of the system (the system itself) and allows the user to describe his professional activities in a unified form and in natural language. The article also shows the application of this model, on one of the aspects (development of data transformation logic).

Active introduction of digital technologies in all spheres of life is one of the main directions of state development as a whole and separate sphere of activity. The issue of using information technologies and systems during forensic examination is the subject of scientific research of many domestic and foreign scientists, but this sphere remains relevant. The introduction of digital technologies in forensic activities is one of the priority areas for the forensic science development at the present stage and has significant development potential. One of the areas of optimization and improvement of forensic activity is the development of methods to automate the formation of forensic experts and unify the description of the research process, identified features, justification and formulation of forensic conclusions, which requires legislative consolidation and regulation, analysis and definition of the subject area and development requirements and algorithms for the operation of the system interface. Unification and standardization of the content of forensic experts' opinions requires the development of common standards and an information system adopted by all subjects of forensic expertise, and meets the needs of practice. The development of an information system for forming an expert opinion and automatically forming an expert opinion will allow formalizing and unifying the description of research and results of forensic examinations, optimizing the time of forensic experts and potentially reducing the number of logical, typographical and technical errors, and simplifying quality control of forensic examinations. The proposed system will not only automate the technical work of registration of research results carried out during forensic examinations, but will also contain research algorithms, which will be stored in the form of data on already conducted research of similar objects (list and sequence of operations, identified features and their parameters).

В статье рассматривается психологическое понятие вовлеченности и его значение при проектировании корпоративных информационных систем. Традиционно понятие вовлеченности применяется для предсказания различных обусловленных данным феноменом последствий в виде эффективности деятельности сотрудников и установок рабочего поведения, что чрезвычайно важно в условиях удаленной работы. Учет вовлеченности способен повысить удовлетворенность от трудовой деятельности в процессе удаленного взаимодействия с корпоративными информационными системами, объединить работников организации вокруг корпоративных ценностей, в позитивном плане отразиться на эффективности индивидуальной деятельности и деятельности организации в целом. Данная статья носит постановочный характер, учитывая неоднозначность сведений о понятии вовлеченности, ее разных трактовках и уровнях анализа, представленных в работах отечественных и зарубежных психологов. В условиях недостаточной разработанности понятия «вовлеченность», не представляется возможным его эффективное использование при проектировании и разработке распределенных информационных систем. Таким образом от проработанности данного понятия в конечном итоге зависят не только эффективность проектирования и успешность реализации информационной системы, но и эффективность индивидуального труда и эффективность деятельности организаций. Необходимо уделять внимание таким значимым моментам, как сохранение психологического здоровья и психологического благополучия сотрудников, которые отражаются на эффективности деятельности всей организации в целом. Доработка концептуального понятия вовлеченности крайне значима для ее учета при проектировании корпоративных информационных систем. На логическом уровне проектирования корпоративных информационных систем психологическое понятие вовлеченности может быть учтено в следующих моделях информационной системы: структурная модель, информационная модель и функциональная модель. The article discusses the psychological concept of involvement and its significance in the design of corporate information systems. Traditionally, the concept of engagement is used to predict various consequences of this phenomenon in the form of employee performance and work behavior attitudes, which is extremely important in a remote work environment. Accounting for engagement can increase job satisfaction in the process of remote interaction with corporate information systems, unite employees of an organization around corporate values, and positively affect the effectiveness of individual activities and the activities of the organization as a whole. This article is of a staged nature, given the ambiguity of information about the concept of involvement, its different interpretations and levels of analysis presented in the works of Russian and foreign psychologists. In the conditions of insufficient elaboration of the concept of "involvement", it is not possible to effectively use it in the design and development of distributed information systems. Thus, the elaboration of this concept ultimately depends not only on the design efficiency and the success of the implementation of the information system, but also on the effectiveness of individual labor and the effectiveness of organizations. It is necessary to pay attention to such significant points as the preservation of the psychological health and psychological well-being of employees, which affect the efficiency of the entire organization as a whole. Refinement of the concept of engagement is extremely important for taking it into account in the design of corporate information systems. At the logical level of designing corporate information systems, the psychological concept of involvement can be taken into account in the following models of the information system: structural model, information model and functional model.

В условиях развития информационного общества (Knowledgeable society - KS) информационные системы стали неотъемлемой частью любой организации, даже самой малой, независимо от реализуемых ими бизнес-процессов. Такие информационные системы принято называть корпоративными информационными системами (КИС), или Corporate Information System (CIS). Особые требования при разработке КИС предъявляются к обеспечению их информационной безопасности, что может быть реализовано путем разработки КИС в защищенном исполнении. Технологии blockchain являются очень перспективными не только при применении их в традиционных сферах - производстве, сервисе, на транспорте, но и для решения проблем безопасности и информационной, в частности. Анализу данной проблемы и подходам к ее решению и посвящена данная статья. At present, in the context of the development of Knowledgeable society, information systems are at now an integral part of any organization, even the smallest, regardless of the business processes they implement. Such information systems are commonly referred to as Corporate Information Systems (CIS). Special requirements for the development of CIS are made to ensure their information security, which can be achieved by developing a protected version of the CIS. In this article is considered the analysis of this problem and approaches to its solution. Block Chain technologies are very promising not only when applying them in traditional spheres - manufacturing, service, transport, but also to solve security and information problems, in particular.

Maps and mapping are the manifestation of geography for the great bulk of the population. These play a key role in society and underpin many functions of the state. The situation is particularly marked in Britain, both in war and peace, where the Ordnance Survey (the country's national mapping agency) has been central to national mapping for more than two centuries. It is no exaggeration to say that mapping underpins many of the activities of society, especially in Britain. The collation, visualisation and analysis of geographical information through maps are intimately intertwined. Since British geography and British geographers have been involved in all aspects of mapping and its successor, this chapter covers both academic and non-academic aspects of the subject area. This chapter examines the geographical underpinning of British society and its radical transformation, Geographical Information Systems and information technology and non-trivial cartography.

The subject area of the application of information systems to small business is a thoroughly interesting, yet relatively under-researched topic. Small business is an important part of any economy. In the United Kingdom, 25% of the gross domestic product is produced by small business, which employs 65% of the nation’s workers (Ballantine et al., 1998). In Canada, 43% of economic output is accounted for by small business, employing 50% of private sector employees (Industry Canada, 1997). Further, governments view the small business sector as that component of the economy that can best contribute to economic growth (Balderson, 2000). Given the importance of this sector of the economy, it is incumbent upon researchers and managers of small business to develop a better understanding of how information systems may contribute to the operation and growth of individual businesses as well as the overall sector. The objective of this article is to provide an overview of information systems used by small business. Research projects are presented that describe the current situation. Recommendations are then proffered for various stakeholders who should contribute to a more effective use of information systems by small business.

This chapter examines some of the issues that are driving the development of a master’s course designated as “Information Systems Development Methodologies.” The course takes a “reality as a social construct” view of the world, the purpose of the approach being to encourage students to challenge assumptions and enhance their abilities to research, reflect, critique, and develop strong arguments to support their understanding of the subject area. An interpretive approach such as this can challenge those students whose experiences of previous educational settings have been more strongly oriented toward rote or positivistic teaching and learning styles. The chapter outlines a number of approaches that have been adopted to help students deal with interpretive approaches to learning and to introduce them to issues of belief, inquiry, argument, and reflection.

The article provides solutions on the basis of which the motivation and mood of employees can be monitored using IT and topicality of developing a similar information system for motivating students is substantiated. Based on the tasks of the subject area, the requirements for the developed information system are formulated. To determine the motivation associated with the psychological model, Vladimir Yudin’s model used in the pedagogic process was chosen as the base one. The system should calculate the indicators of the student's qualities and, on the basis of the transition rules, determine the likelihood of belonging to the psychological type, and also give recommendations on the formation of motivation. Monitoring student motivation will help determine the list of activities in the university that contribute to the development of competences for each type of student. The article presents the developed user interfaces of the system to demonstrate its capabilities.
