  This study aims to describe Indonesian-language teaching materials that are locally charged during the learning process at Cipanas 1 Public High School. The description of teaching materials in this school needs to be put forward because it is one aspect that supports student success. This high school has advantages especially in learning Indonesian compared to other schools in the area. This study used descriptive qualitative method.   Keywords: writing teaching materials, local wisdom       Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia yang bermuatan lokal yang diberikan selama proses pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Cipanas. Pendeskripsian bahan ajar di sekolah ini perlu dikemukakan karena merupakan salah satu aspek yang menunjang keberhasilan siswa. SMA ini memiliki keunggulan terutama dalam belajar bahasa Indonesia dibandingkan dengan sekolah lain di daerah tersebut. Humor dan Pesan Moral Teks Anekdot pada Buku Ajar Bahasa Indonesia Kelas X SMA Kurikulum2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud humor dan pesan moral yang terdapatdalam teks anekdot pada buku ajar bahasa Indonesia kelas X SMA K13. Pendekatan dalam penelitianini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatis dan pendekatan moral. Untuk mengungkapkan humor padateks anekdot tersebut penulis menggunakan teknik analisis wacana berdasarkan teori konflik, teorikeganjilan, teori tak diharapkan/salah paham, dan teori konfigurasi. Data penelitian ini adalah teksanekdot, maka penulis menggunakan metode analisis isi. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan wujud humoryang terdapat dalam teks anekdot tersebut, yaitu humor kritik, humor meringankan beban pesan, danhumor semata-mata pesan. Pesan moral yang terdapat dalam teks tersebut, yaitu jangan takut kehilangan246jabatan, selalu ada cara dan solusi dalam segala hal, jadilah orang jujur dan tidak korupsi; hasil bumikita tidak perlu diekspor harus hati-hati melaporkan suatu kejadian; lihatlah apa isi yang disampaikanseseorang; jangan melakukan penyuapan; jangan selalu menganggap orang lain salah, manfaatkankekayaaan dengan baik; jadilah orang yang teguh pendirian dan jangan tergoda hawa nafsu; janganasal menuduh seseorang tanpa ada bukti; berilah pertolongan kepada orang yang mengalami musibahatau kesulitan; memperlakukan orang tua dengan baik; jangan membedakan status sosial; akan adajalan keluar sebuah masalah; hati-hati dengan wujud penyuapan yang berupa kemewahan.Kata-kata kunci: humor, pesan moral, teks anekdot

The principal as a manager or leader must have a strategy in developing educational facilities and infrastructure. Educational facilities and infrastructure are one of important resources in supporting the learning process in schools. The purpose of this article is to describe the principal's strategy in improving infrastructure through the development of infrastructure. This article is qualitative field research. The form of the research is descriptive qualitative with the design of data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this article found that the principal's strategy in improving the quality of learning through the development of infrastructure at (Public High School) SMA Negeri 1 Jombang was quite effective and efficient, especially seen from the presence of CCTV facilities that made it easier for the principal to control the teachers, as well as students during the learning process and LCD can understand the material presented by the teachers. The principal strategy in developing infrastructure is through the planning stages of infrastructure, organizing infrastructure, mobilizing infrastructure, and controlling infrastructure. The conclusion from the explanation above is that the principal's strategy in improving the quality of learning through the development of infrastructure at SMA Negeri 1 Jombang seen from the CCTV and LCD facilities is quite good because after seeing the results achieved, it has fulfilled the objectives to be achieved, namely to improve the quality of learning.

<p>The purpose of this study was to identify the Chinese language teaching materials for students of business and management majors in a vocational high school. This research method was qualitative. The process of collecting data used observation activities, interviews and questionnaires. This study found that the Chinese teaching materials which have been used in a vocational high school especially in business and management majors were still general and not relevant to the needs of students. The results of this study also indicated that the expected design of Chinese language teaching materials should be specifically integrated to the students’ majors and the competency levels of their expertise. In addition, the teaching materials also should be designed with multimedia to support the learning process and students’ experiences.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan model materi ajar bahasa Mandarin untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bidang Bisnis dan Manajemen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan proses pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Melalui penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa materi ajar bahasa Mandarin yang selama ini digunakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bidang Bisnis dan Manajemen merupakan materi ajar yang bersifat umum dan belum memenuhi kebutuhan siswa. Hasil dari analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar bahasa Mandarin yang diharapkan adalah materi ajar yang terintegrasi dan relevan dengan bidang dan program studi siswa sehingga dapat mendukung keahlian utamanya. Terlebih lagi materi ajar bahasa Mandarin yang diharapkan saat ini adalah materi ajar yang dikemas dengan basis multimedia.</p>

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas terkait optimalisasi pembalajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan aplikasi Nearpod sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, catatan (penelitian) lapangan, dan wawancara tertulis yang dilakukan secara daring. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sepuluh siswa tingkat Sekolah Mengah Pertama dan Sekolah Menengah Atas. Sementara, objek penelitian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi Nearpod dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia terkait materi teks biografi. Sumber data penelitian ini didapatkan melalui proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring atau online bersama subjek penlitian menggunakan aplikasi nearpod. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini, aplikasi Nearpod dapat dimanfaatkan untuk media pembelajaran bahasa Indoensia karena dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif melalui fitur-fitur yang inovatif dan edukatif.  ABSTRACT This study aims to discuss the optimization of Indonesian language learning using the Nearpod application as an ICT-based learning medium. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained based on observations, field notes (research), written interviews conducted online. The subjects of this study were ten students at the Junior High School and Senior High School levels. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the use of the Nearpod application in optimizing Indonesian language learning related to biographical material. The source of the data studied was through a learning process carried out online or online with the research subjects using the nearpod application. Based on the results and discussion in this study, the Nearpod application can be used for Indonesian language learning media because it can create interactive learning through innovative and educational features.

This research aims at finding out the teachers’ effort in developing the students’ ability in reading Al-Yaqūt Al-Nafīs at class two senior high school. This research employed the Descriptive Qualitative method. Its findings indicate an increase in the teachers’ effort in developing students’ ability in reading and translating Al-Yaqūt Al-Nafīs. The teachers applied sorogan method in the teaching and learning process and applied repetition and practice techniques in learning Al-Yaqūt Al-Nafīs.

Abstract:This study aims to find out and explain the interrelationship of the learning process of writing with errors in the exposition of students. The method used is descriptive qualitative method which aims to describe and explain the relevance of the learning process of writing with the errors of the exposition of students. The object of this research is the exposition of class X high school students assisted by questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the more maximum the process of learning to write, the better the results obtained, and conversely the instant process and teachers who do not maximize teaching in the methods and media used will be increasingly less quality.   Keywords: writing, language errors, exposition

The approach is an essential part of language teaching. This is a way of looking at teaching and learning. One of the techniques of Arabic language teaching is the Integrated Skills Approach. This approach combines four language skills in the learning process. This study aims to describe the mastery approach and its implementation in learning Arabic. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study were collected through library research. Based on the study results, it was found that using the integrated skills approach in learning Arabic will train students in the use of language in its entirety and naturally, which includes receptive and productive language activities. Because in real life these four skills are not used separately.

AbstractThis paper aims at describing the use of deixis in Tere Liye’s novel called“Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin”. The method used inthis writing is descriptive qualitative method. The data were collectedusing reading method and writing technique. The data consist of sentencescontaining deixis of persona, deixis of space, and deixis of time. It was found that there are 992 deixis which consist of 879 deixis of persona, 82 deixis of space, and 31 deixis of time. Such study on deixis has an implication on Indonesian language learning in high school class XII, especially in editing a novel. It is due to the fact that deixis relates to the choice of words and the use of effective sentences. Therefore, the teachers should manage to create its learning scenario. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemakaian deiksis dalam novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin karya Tere Liye. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan teknik catat. Data penelitian merupakan satuan lingual berupa kalimat-kalimat yang mengadung deiksis persona, deiksis ruang, dan deiksis waktu. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 992 deiksis, yang terdiri atas deiksis persona sejumlah 879, deiksis ruang sejumlah 82, dan deiksis waktu sejumlah 31 buah. Kajian deiksis dalam penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas XII, khususnya pada pembelajaran menyunting novel. Hal ini disebabkan deiksis terkait dengan pemilihan kata dan penggunaan kalimat yang efektif. Untuk itu, guru harus mampu membuat skenario pembelajarannya

Kamus baca bergambar merupakan salah satu media penunjang pembelajaran yang dapat membuat siswa lebih tertarik dan mempermudah dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi, bahwa banyak berbagai macam kamus baca bergambar yang ditemukan. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi daya tangkap pemahaman siswa dalam Bahasa Mandarin. Oleh sebab itu, pada penelitian ini  peneliti berusaha menganalisis kamus baca bergambar Bahasa Mandarin sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu 1) Mengetahui kebutuhan siswa akan kamus baca bergambar untuk mempermudah siswa dan guru belajar bahasa Mandarin, 2) Mengetahui kesesuaian kamus baca bergambar dengan kebutuhan siswa melalui analisis SWOT untuk mempermudah belajar bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, karena peneliti akan menjabarkan kebutuhan kamus baca bergambar untuk mempermudah siswa belajar Bahasa Mandarin. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghendaki kamus baca bergambar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa berdasarkan penyusunan kosakata, jumlah kosakata per halaman, tampilan/ layout kosakata, font Hanzi, font size Hanzi, font Pinyin, font size Pinyin, gambar/ ilustrasi.Picture reading dictionary is one of the supporting learning media that can make students more interested and simplify the learning process. Based on observations, that many various kinds of picture reading dictionaries were found. This can affect the comprehension of students' comprehension in Mandarin. Therefore, in this study the researchers tried to analyze the Chinese picture reading dictionary according to the students' needs. The purpose of this study, namely 1) Knowing the needs of students for picture reading dictionaries to facilitate students and teachers learning Mandarin, 2) Knowing the suitability of picture reading dictionaries with students' needs through SWOT analysis to facilitate learning Chinese. This study is conducted in order to describe the development model ofconstructivistic teaching in Indonesian language for the sake of maximizing thestudents’ attitude in critical thinking. Operationally this study is done inorder to describe the concept and strategy model and the materials of constructivisticIndonesian language teaching developed by the teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Rembokenfor the sake of maximizing the students’ attitude in critical thinking. TheIndonesian language teachers’ concept on the planning and the conduction ofconstructivistic teaching related to what Indonesian language teaching is, howthe textbook and the materials are used, the purpose of Indonesian languageteaching is, the role of the teacher, the role of the students in the teachingand learning process, the use of teaching methods and media, and the procedureof the conduction of constructivistic Indonesian language teaching and learningprocess in the classroom, was not done by the teachers when they were observed.Their constructivistic teaching attitude is very minimal.
