Studies show the class vii c, d, e, and f's digital literacy of class vii c, d, e, and f get an average of 60.77 present in the moderate category. In contrast, the results of the student biology study of students get an average of 68.02 gifts in the intermediate class. Product correlation analysis between x variables and y variables show that r recount (0.290) > t-table (1.987) so that there is a link between digital literacy and the study of the biological student vii class 12 countries

This study aims to determine the strategy of strengthening curiosity as a trait using a scientific approach. The population of the study is among the 4th-grade students of SD Cendekia Islamic School. This study uses qualitative research methods and data collection techniques such as direct interviews with educators and observations in the learning process as well as documentation studies. Sources of data in this study are educators and students. The teaching activities of 4th graders at SD Cendekia Islamic School class IV have been carried out on a distance learning basis since the outbreak of covid-19 in Indonesia. The results of this research, conducted on fourth-grade students at SD Cendekia Islamic School, show that the learning activities carried out during the distance learning period were not optimal in terms of scientific approaches. Because, according to researchers, the use of a scientific approach, when face-to-face interaction with students is possible, is more efficient than its use in distance learning, which is the current situation. Hence, the researchers conclude that the study conducted during the distance learning process that utilized scientific approaches did not maximize strengthening curiosity as a trait. Researchers suggest that, in distance learning exercises, it is necessary to pay attention first to all components that can support the successful implementation of scientific approaches on the development of curiosity as a trait.

This research uses descriptive method with survey technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and observation. Research activities use analytical techniques consisting of 6 steps, namely unitizing (determination of units), sampling (determination of samples), recording (recording or recording), reduction (reduction), inferring (drawing conclusions) and narrating (describes). The results showed that the emergence of religious character values in chemistry textbooks on atomic structure material was 11 sentences and the emergence of curiosity character values was 12 sentences. The aim of this article is to show formative assessment as one of the ways to support first graders in guiding their learning process, an important element of which is self-regulation. It is the core around which the skills of first graders are built up. It becomes possible by directing their actions in speech and practice. Particular attention was paid to one of the elements of the formative assessment: feedback, appearing during the dialogue between the teacher and the student. I refer to John Hattie’s model (2015), describing four levels of feedback: task, process, self-regulation and “me”, and the main questions functioning at each of these levels. Levels and questions allow us to notice that feedback is not related to grading, but is information current in action, helping students to make progress on the basis of data reducing the gap between where they are and where they should be. It is important because if the student receives it on an ongoing basis, then he/she is best able to perform his/her tasks and activities. Self-regulation is the basis of education in the school class, which should be a space for its shaping. This approach of self-regulation allows us to see the first grader as an active, innovative and curious person. This requires a shift from summative grading to equipping students with a variety of self-regulated learning strategies.

Verbal praise is frequently used as motivation by teachers in class and truly effective verbal praise plays an important role in maintaining classroom order and stimulating positive student behavior. In this study,  students from three classes of X Primary School of Jiangxi Province were interviewed and 328 verbal praise expressions collected. The subsequent empirical study on the effectiveness of verbal praise in four dimensions,  namely content,  spatiality,  subjectivity and time,  found that verbal praise generates both shallow and deep effects. The shallow effects act as a foundation for deep effects but do not necessarily result in deep effects. Other conditions are required to actualize a deep effect.
