ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas terkait optimalisasi pembalajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan aplikasi Nearpod sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, catatan (penelitian) lapangan, dan wawancara tertulis yang dilakukan secara daring. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sepuluh siswa tingkat Sekolah Mengah Pertama dan Sekolah Menengah Atas. Sementara, objek penelitian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi Nearpod dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia terkait materi teks biografi. Sumber data penelitian ini didapatkan melalui proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring atau online bersama subjek penlitian menggunakan aplikasi nearpod. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini, aplikasi Nearpod dapat dimanfaatkan untuk media pembelajaran bahasa Indoensia karena dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif melalui fitur-fitur yang inovatif dan edukatif.  ABSTRACT This study aims to discuss the optimization of Indonesian language learning using the Nearpod application as an ICT-based learning medium. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained based on observations, field notes (research), written interviews conducted online. The subjects of this study were ten students at the Junior High School and Senior High School levels. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the use of the Nearpod application in optimizing Indonesian language learning related to biographical material. The source of the data studied was through a learning process carried out online or online with the research subjects using the nearpod application. Based on the results and discussion in this study, the Nearpod application can be used for Indonesian language learning media because it can create interactive learning through innovative and educational features.

AbstractThis study aims to describe students’ learning difficulties in the Indonesian language learning process at the senior high school. The research subjects were students of SMAN1 Klaten, SMAN 1 Karangnongko, and SMAN 1 Karangdowo. The data were collectedby means of tests and interviews. They were analyzed using qualitative and quantitativedescriptive techniques with the AnBuso computer program. The results of the dataanalysis show that the students have difficulties in: the language sub-competenciesof structure (61.07%) and vocabulary (52.6%); the language competencies of listening(41.88%), speaking (18.89%), reading (21.15%), and writing (20.02%); and the literarycompetency at the levels of information (45.69%), concepts (40.9%), perspectives (41.74%),and appreciation (47.1%). These show that the difficulties are evenly distributed on thevarious components of learning materials, both for language and literary competencies, sothat the solutions must be comprehensive including the selection of learning methods.Keywords: learning difficulties, competencies, Indonesian language

ABSTRACTThis research is based on student collaboration activities and the ability of students to develop ideas in writing advertising sentences. The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) How is the collaborative activity in learning Indonesian at Cibinong 3 Public Junior High School Bogor? (2) What is the result of the ability of students to develop ideas in writing advertising sentences in learning Indonesian at Cibinong 3 Public Junior High School Bogor? This study aims to describe: (1) collaborative activities on learning Indonesian at Bogor Cibinong 3 Junior High School (2) the results of students' ability to develop ideas in writing advertising sentences in Indonesian language learning at Bogor Cibinong 3 Junior High School. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The results of this study in the form of collaborative activities on learning Indonesian at SMPN 3 Cibinong Bogor are as follows. a) identifying sentences of facts and opinions on products, b) giving ideas about sentences of facts and opinions, c) giving opportunities (taking turns, giving ideas about sentences of facts and opinions), d) discussing the answers of his group friends, e) utilizing time effectively, f) conveying ideas of facts and opinions in accordance with the product, and g) confirming the ideas of sentence facts and opinions recorded to group friends. The results of students' ability to develop ideas in writing ad sentences on learning Indonesian at Bogor Cibinong 3 Junior High School are good. This is based on data on the results of student skills, there are 32 data facts or correct sentences of 82.05% and 34 correct opinion sentence data or equal to 87.18%.Keywords: collaboration activities, advertising sentences, facts, opinions

The application of 4 'R (Reading, Reciting, Reasoning, and aRithmetic) is very important to be applied in an integrated way in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe students 'creative thinking with the application of 4' R (Reading, Reciting, Reasoning, and aRithmetic) in project-based text learning. This study uses Classroom Action Research method. The research subjects were students of  grade VIIA Sabilillah Islamic Junior High School Malang. The results showed that students' creative thinking skills were still very low, namely 61.29%. Based on the facts found the learning process has not taken place optimally. Finally, after applying  4’R (Reading, witing, Reasoning, and aRithmetic) in project-based  learning. Students 'creative thinking skills on average experienced an increase after improvements were made with the implementation of the 4' R and project-based learning. This can be shown in the increasing percentage of skills reaching an average of 77, 46% in the first cycle and increasing in the second cycle reaching a percentage of 96.77%.

This research based on the processes that language learning must be carried out following the rules. The school which is a place of formal education in educating students to use Indonesian language is good and right, in the form of written and oral terms. However, in reality, the problem of Indonesian conversion is still often found in schools, at various levels starting from the higher level, which is the cause of language acquisition and mastery of more than one language (bilingual). This can be done error which is usually called interference. Interference in language is usually called "language disease" because it can damage language so it must be avoided. This interference is a result of mixing a second language rules that are mastered by someone. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of Bugis language interference with the use of Indonesian used by junior high school students in Pammana sub-district in conversation and explain the translation of Bugis language interference on the ability to support junior high school students in Pammana sub-district. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The techniques of collecting data in this research are, conducting direct dialogue with students, inviting students to communicate well in the learning process. SMP Negeri 1 Pammana to interrupt Bugis language compilation to communicate or speak in Indonesian, this is done during formal conversations, this helps deviate from the rules of the Indonesian language.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 9 SMP Negeri di Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Observasi, Angket, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase perkembangan futsal ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri Bengkulu berkembang 6 sekolah 66,66%, belum berkembang 3 sekolah 33,33%. Setelah mendapatkan persentase data maka dapat dilakukan perbandingan perkembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMP Negeri Kota Bengkulu tingkat bengkulu 6:3. Berdasarkan perolehan data perkembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Bengkulu harus memperhatikan indikator yang baik seperti peran siswa, pelatih yang kompeten, manajemen yang baik, fasilitas, metode pelatihan. Jadi hasil data yang diperoleh dari sembilan sekolah ada 6 sekolah yang memiliki indikator baik. Sementara 3 sekolah belum terlihat perkembangan indikator yang belum memenuhi proses mendukung pengembangan futsal ekstrakurikuler.Kata Kunci : Perkembangan, Ekstrakurikuler, FutsalAbstractThis study aims to determine the development of futsal extracurricular activities. The method used is descriptive research method. The research subjects were 9 Middle Schools in the City of Bengkulu. The instruments of this study are Observation, Questionnaire, and Documentation. The results showed that the percentage of extracurricular futsal development in Bengkulu State Middle School grew by 6 schools 66.66%, not yet developed 3 schools 33.33%. After getting the percentage of data, we can compare the development of futsal extracurricular activities at Bengkulu City State Middle School bengkulu level 6: 3. Based on data obtained from the development of futsal extracurricular activities in Bengkulu State Junior High School, it must pay attention to good indicators such as competent students, good management facilities, training methods. So the results of data obtained from nine schools have 6 schools that have good indicators. While 3 schools stated that there were no developments in indicators that had not met the process of supporting the development of extracurricular futsal.Keywords: Development, Extracurricular, Futsal

This study aims to determine the culture of learning, management functions, and the learning process of the Quran with the Tilawati model, as well as to determine the character development by learning the Quran with the Tilawati model at Junior High School Al Muslim of Sidoarjo, Islamic Junior High School of 1 Surabaya and Junior High School of 34 Surabaya. This study used a multi-case study research method with a purposive sampling technique with the research subjects, namely 3 schools. The collection is done by giving questions related to culture, learning management, and the learning process in the three schools. From the research it can be concluded that 1) The culture of learning Al-Quran with the Tilawati model provides a fairly good contribution to fostering student character, 2) The use of management science principles in the implementation of the Tilawati model of Al Quran learning program is very appropriate, 3) The learning process of the Al-Quran model consists of interrelated components, including; graduation targets about quality and quantity, curriculum, management of learning Al-Quran with the Tilawati model, 4) To foster 25 student characters through learning the Tilawati Al-Quran model is done by designing learning with syntax or learning stages that are systematically arranged. This research implies that it can be used as material to improve the implementation of the Al-Quran learning culture by developing modern learning management principles.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeksripsikan nilai- nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas X A-3 SMKN 1 Bulango Utara, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil observasi proses pembelajaran, hasil wawancara, dan deskripsi hasil studi dokumen. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Indonesia di SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara belum sepenuhnya mengandung nilai-nilai berkarakter. Nilai-nilai karakter yang selalu muncul adalah jujur, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri, ingin tahu atau cinta ilmu, dan menghargai orang lain. Sementara itu, nilai-nilai karakter yang intensitas kemunculannya kurang dalam setiap pembelajaran adalah bernalar (berpikir logis, kritis, kreatif, dan inovatif), santun, dan disiplin. Hasil pembelajaran mencakup hal-hal berikut: (a) objektivitas pembicaraan, (b) kualitas isi pembicaraan, (c) sasaran atau arah pembicaraan, dan (d) gaya berbicara.Kata kunci: keterampilan berbicara, nilai karakter, bahasa Indonesia, siswa SMKMORAL VALUES IN THE LEARNING OF INDONESIAN SPEAKING SKILLSAMONG VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AbstractThis study aims to describe moral values in the learning of speaking skills. The research subjects were 23 students of Grade X A-3 SMKN 1 Bulango Utara, Gorontalo Regency. The data were the results of observations on the learning process, interviews, and description of the document study. The data were analyzed by the interactive model. The results show that the learning process of Indonesian speaking skills at SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara has not fully emphasized moral values. The values that always come up are honesty, responsibity, confidence, curiousity or love of science, and respect for others. Meanwhile, the values that rarely appear in learning are reasoning (logical, critical, creative, and innovative thinking), politeness, and discipline. The learning outcomes include: (a) the conversation objectivity, (b) the quality of the conversation content, (c) the goal or the direction of the conversation, and (d) the speaking style.Keywords: speaking skills, moral values, Indonesian, vocational high school students

This article examines the referential meaning of children's names in SMA N 1 Karanggede grade X MIPA 1. This article aims to (1) find the referential meaning of the child's name (2) explains the content of the referential meaning of the child's name (3) describes the utilization of the referential meaning of the child's name as teaching material Indonesian language learning class VIII junior high school. The data in this study are referential meanings of children's names. Sources of data came from parents and students in SMA N 1 Karanggede, especially in class X MIPA 1. Data collection techniques used interviews and questionnaires. The validity used is source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the referential equivalent method. The results of this study are, First, the referential meaning of the child's name refers to objects (23names) and properties (13names). Second, the meaning of the name of the child based on the giver's name refers to: prayer or hope (21), time of birth (7), order of birth (2), inspiration (6). Third, the use of referential meanings of children's names in Indonesian language learning in VIII grade of SMP is related to basic competencies 4.1 Concludes the content of the news (boast and motivate what is read and heard). The material used is news text taken from the name giving of children in SMA N 1 Karanggede which motivates.

To be good a teacher, a teacher must incessantly improve her/his teaching practice and skill/knowledge to produce and keep the academic quality. Mechanically, a teacher requires to concern a particular method/ technique or strategy and use a certain tool/type to fulfill the benchamark of excellence in teaching. Hence, reflection is substantial as one of the indispensable approaches that can be practiced to direct teacher’s performance becomes more experienced. In teaching, the term reflection refers to the opportunity of teachers to think back critically after the teaching-learning process. Previous studies that have been conducted to observe the efficiency of teacher journal in the education field. Conversely, only a few kinds research explored teacher’s perceptions toward the utilization of the teacher’s journal. Likewise, this research was located in Indonesia and engage an in-service EFL teacher of Junior High School to accomplish the gap. It intended at determining the parts reflected from the teacher journal. Moreover, to investigate the research problems, the researcher used an in-depth interview to explore the teacher’s experience in utilizing teacher diary. Consequently, this study employed a qualitative method since it was considered as the appropriate design to accomplish the research. The researcher concluded that the teacher has a positive perceptions related to the teacher’s diary/teacher’s journal. It gives precious involvement for English teachers to be more experienced and professional to help students in mastering English skills and help the teacher to do reflection in order to make a better teaching practice for the next English teaching.

This study aims to explore the problems of art and culture interactive learning at the Junior High School level which belongs to the millennial generation. The focus of the study lies in the interdisciplinary aspect of social media in its delivery in multimodality of arts and culture learning process. Furthermore, to find out about opportunities, challenges, and responses from students about the use of social media in its development as a medium in art and culture interactive learning. The research method uses qualitative-analytic. Data collection used observation techniques which were carried out from January 2020 to June 2020, and questionnaires to 75 art teachers and 500 Junior High School students who were taken randomly, with spatial boundaries in Surabaya, East Java. The results showed that the learning involvement experienced by students had complexity and multimodality, including collaborative work, observing and evaluating each other's work, and involvement in finding, identifying, and exploring trends related to delivery in social media as a medium for art and culture learning process. Furthermore, it's able to motivate students to be more actively involved in learning with a sense of joy; positioning artwork with others on social media; increase the contextual and conceptual understanding in the material of art and culture and apply it as a process of actualizing students' aesthetic skills; and improve critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
