This research was conducted with the grade XI students of TITL, SMK Dinamika Pembangunan I Jakarta, on the subject of the Electrical Lighting Installation (IPL). The researcher precieved the poor results from the students who have not achieved the standard completion of studies (SKB) during and after they underwent and internalized learning activities in the process of their study. The objective of this research is to realize the difference between the results of study on Electrical Lighting Installation using Contextual Teaching and Learning method and the result of  the study using  the Convensional method in grade XI TITL, SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. The hippotetical test using t–test resulted in t-counted = 2.32 at the significance of α = 0.05 and the 45 level of tolerance which resulted in t-table = 2.00. Therefore, the value is within the area of acceptance of H1 and rejection of H0. This shows that the average result of study using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model is better compared to the result of study using the conventional model. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI TITL SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik (IPL). Peneliti melihat rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang belum mencapai Standar Ketuntasan Belajar (SKB) dalam menerima dan meresapi kegiatan belajar disaat proses pembelajaran berlangsung maupun sesudahnya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model contextual teaching and learning dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional XI TITL di SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1 Jakarta. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 2,32 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0.05 dan derajat kebebasan 45 diperoleh ttabel = 2,00, maka nilai thitung berada di daerah penerimaan H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa rata–rata hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar yang menggunkan model pembelajaran konvensional.

General chemistry is a subject that being studied in almost every science course. The subject is closely related to the environment, so it will be very easy to learn when involve examples in everyday life. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach is an approach that links the learning materials with the real-world environment. This research was conducted by using a CTL approach in a general chemistry subject which is one of the compulsory subjects in Biology Education Program of Tarbiyah Faculty UIN Ar-Raniry. The aim of this study was to determine the increase of student learning activities after using the CTL approach to general chemistry lecturing activities. The design of this study used action classroom research. This study was conducted to the first semester students. The student amount was 31 students. The instrument used was an observation sheet of learning activity. The results was obtained that the activities of the student during the learning process in the first cycle reached 70% and increased to 90% in cycle II. This proves that the application of CTL approach can increase the learning student’s activity of Biology Education Studies in general chemistry courses.

This research is done because the still low student's IPS score is 62. Learning process in favor of the teacher is not on the student side. The subject matter that is delivered is the environment and implement the cooperation of third grade students of SD Negeri 02 Kundur. Type of research, classroom action research (PTK). The study was conducted in two cycles. Prior to carrying out the action, a preliminary test is conducted to find out how far students have knowledge. Learning method uses contextual teaching and learning (CTL) method. Data collection techniques by making RPP, Observation, action, reflection, and evaluation while the technique of data analysis is by observation techniques, interviews, results of relection, and evaluation. The research subjects of third grade students of SD Negeri 02 Kundur, consist of 13 women, and 14 men. Prasiklus 72.59 did not complete 37,04% and 63,96% complete, cycle I, 77,70 not 55,56% complete and complete to 44,44% and cycle II increased to 100%. Total prasiklus value of 1959 lowest 66 and 90 highest, cycle I total value 2098, low 65 and highest 93, cycle II number 2280, lowest score 70 and highest value 95. So the use of CTL method can improve student learning result of SD Negeri 02 Kundur.

This study is aim to know  the Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning Method on the Students’ ability in Writing Paragraph at English Department of FKIP Nommensen Pematangsiantar. This research was an experimental study which conducted quantitative analysis. The population of this research was Group C and D students of English Department FKIP Nommensen Pematangsiantar Academic year 2018/2019. There were two classes. The samples of this research were taken from two classes. They were group C that consists of 45 students stated as the experimental class, and group D that consist of 25 students stated as the control class. After analyzing the data, the writer found that there was a significant effect of using Contextual Teaching and Learning Method to the students’ ability in writing paragraph. The Mean Score was 11,72 and the value of t-test was higher than t-table (t-test > t-table), 5,208 > 1,996. Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) was accepted and Ho (Null Hypothesis) was rejected. It can be concluded that by using contextual teaching and learning method, the students were encouraged to do writing paragraph in their daily life. The students have abilities to identify their weakness, accepted their mistakes and recognized their potential.

The rapid progress of the school in this modern era, so every school always innovates learning so that students do not feel bored and fed up in class, so that student learning outcomes are low. This study aims to find out how much the difference in student learning outcomes by using CTL Learning and those who do not use Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning in mathematics class III at SD Islam Ar-Rahmat Weragati. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods. Data collection techniques using observation and tests to get the difference between those using and not learning CTL. This study is a population research study, because it took all students in class III at SDI Ar-Rahmat as a sample with 33 subjects. The research data collected were analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. The application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning is expected to provide added value for students in school. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences between student learning outcomes by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning compared to student learning outcomes using the Group Investigation learning model in grade III Islamic Ar-Rahmat Majalengka Elementary School. Abstrak Pesatnya kemajuan sekolah di era modern ini, maka setiap sekolah selalu melakukan inovasi pembelajaran sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan dan jenuh dalam kelas, sehingga hasil belajar siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui seberapa besar perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengunakan Pembelajaran CTL dan yang tidak mengunakan Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam mata pelajaran matematika kelas III di SD Islam Ar-Rahmat Weragati. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes untuk mendapatkan perbedaan antara yang menggunakan dengan yang tidak pembelajaran CTL. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penelitian populasi, karena mengambil seluruh siswa kelas III di SDI Ar-Rahmat sebagai sampel dengan jumlah subyek 33 orang. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t-test. Penerapan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) diharapkan dapat memberikan nilai tambah bagi siswa di sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation di kelas III SD Islam Ar-Rahmat Majalengka. Learning outcomes are the culmination of all teaching and learning activities, because they are part of the benchmarks for the assessment of learners and teachers through various learning patterns and methods within a certain period of time. This is to become a new and further framework for teaching and learning activities (KBM).  Learning outcomes are also inspired by methods from the teacher to students and their feedback. Various types of learning methods have been used as a learning formulation, one of which is Jig Saw Learning, this method is an interesting strategy to use if the material to be studied can be divided into several parts and the material is not in the order. The advantages of this strategy are all students learn and teach others.  This method is can be implemented in various subjects with supporting capacities and tools such as syllabus, implementation of learning (RPP), student activity sheets (LKS), formative tests, and test validity. In this study the authors conducted a study to what extent the effectiveness of the Jig Saw Learning method was applied in Indonesian language lesson by comparing the theory with the application of the method, not only on learning outcomes, but also on students' understanding and mastery of the subject matter.

The article observes the results of the questionnaire of 1923 tenth-formers and their mathematics teachers. Statistical analysis of these results has been done using SPSS 13.0.The practice of curriculum differentiation in Lithuania is the subject of the observation.The research has shown that about 70 per cent of teachers more or less base their syllabus on the content of the textbook. The students’ achievements are dependent both on the teacher‘s understanding that syllabus has to be adapted to the students and ability to do that effectively. The following conclusion could be done: about 60 per cent of mathematics teachers should improve their competence in planning and developing syllabus.Organizing learning process about 80 per cent of teachers basically use reproductive teaching-learning method which requires little independent students’ activity. The institutions that prepare teachers and care about their competence should pay more attention to teachers’ qualification to apply teaching and learning methods in practice.The article has also observed the students and teachers’ understanding of principles and criteria and assessment used in schools and the quality of students’ feet-back.More attention should be paid to teachers’ competence providing faster and more efficient feet-back to students and help they need.

This study is aimed at describing the working culture of administration, teaching learning activities, and evaluating the teaching learning process of accelerated class of SMP 1 Gunung Jati Cirebon teachers in doing their job. This study applies the qualitative of ethnographic that is to see directly the working culture of the subject of the study such as their behavior, their motivation, their perception and their action related to good teachers working culture. The data are taken from interviews with teachers, documents related of teachers job, and field study. In collecting the data, the researcher carried our interview with teachers, doing some observations, and study the documents related to teachers’ job. The data are analyzed and tested using credibility, dependability, and confirm ability tests.The results of the study are: (1) the teachers working culture in doing their administrative means how a teacher increases work such as developing syllabus, making lesson plan, developing indicators, and developing teachers materials. Teachers’ working culture in developing their administration work are developed in school and region teacher forum; (2) teachers working culture in teaching learning activities means how teacher increases work such as make, introduction activity, core activity, and final activity in the teaching and learning process as indicated by the curriculum. (3) teachers working culture in evaluating the teaching learning process means how teacher increases work such as compilation planning of assessment and execution of assessment. The study suggests: (1) the headmaster should give opportunities for teacher to develop their work so that they can contribute to the administration, classroom teaching learning process, evaluation and analysis; (2) the teachers can improve their work such as the administration, classroom teaching learning process, and evaluation of study with activities or constructions by school, duty education, and related institute; (3) the researcher, moreover, should conduct the study concerning the teacher working culture better.

Based on the results of observations in grade IV SDN Cibungkul, it shows that in the learning process the teacher has not used the right learning method so that learning is less interesting and students think mathematics is a difficult subject. Students have difficulty solving problems and are less active in the learning process in class. The results of observations by researchers there were obstacles that were encountered at PLP 2 at SDN Cibungkul, namely the lack of students to be able to understand in recognizing numbers and children who were used as subjects, namely children with special needs (ABK) in grade IV. I made observations after PLP 2 by conducting interviews and testing the children with special needs. Based on this, the researcher wants to try to use the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) approach assisted by number card media in understanding numbers 1-10 in children with special needs (ABK) in Class IV SDN Cibungkul. This study uses the case method with the subject of 1 student with special needs. Data analysis in qualitative research. The findings show that the use of number card media in understanding numbers 1-10 in children with special needs has gone well through various stages using the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning method. Contextual methods assisted by number card media, especially for children with special needs, create a fun and interesting learning atmosphere. The understanding of numbers for children with special needs has made a lot of progress, children no longer forget numbers 1-10 and children feel happy because they use items that are liked by children. In children with special needs, the application of contextual learning methods assisted by number card media will motivate students to participate in active learning.

The problem in this research is the concept of critical biological thinking which became one of the most important things in the learning process that is through the application of Contextual Teaching Learning Model (CTL). The reason for this research is to know the improvement of critical thinking of student biology through the application of Contextual Learning Model an the material. The human Regulation system in class XI  IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 North Panyabungan academic year 2016-2017. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Where the subject of study is the students of class XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 North Panyabungan consisting of 25 students. While techniques and data collected. Based on the result of critical thinking test of the biology of students cycle I am 76%, and cycle II is 84,33%, and the result of the increase of student activity in the cycle is I is 68% and cyle II 86,40%.Keywords: Critical thinking of student biology, Contextual Learning model (CTL), human regulatory system.
