The intersection of the Cisalak I toll gate in Depok City is the intersection that connects the road. Ir. H. Juanda, Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan Gas Alam, and of course the Cisalak I highway exit & exit. By having 6 intersection arms, of course there are many traffic conflicts that occur at the Cisalak I toll gate intersection, one of which is a delay in the intersection arm long so that congestion in each intersection during rush hour always occurs and coupled with the cycle time of the traffic light which takes quite a long time so the long queue occurs. The purpose of this study is to know more about the performance of the traffic. The method used is to observe directly to the research location by observing the volume of vehicles with various types, the phase current of the vehicle passing at the intersection, and the cycle time of the traffic light, and by using Vissim software as modeling and getting the results of the count. The results of the study found capacity on the Bogor Highway (Jakarta direction) with a total of 771.69 , Jalan Ir. H. Juanda is 542.92, Bogor Highway (Bogor direction) is 612.21, and Cijago / Cisalak & Natural Gas Toll Road is 538. and the value of degree of saturation in each intersection is Highway Bogor (direction Jakarta) amounting to 2.96, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda is 3.52, Bogor Highway (Bogor direction) is 2.77, and Cijago / Cisalak & Gas Alam Toll Road is 2.95, so the level of service results in all F crossing arms which means the congestion condition takes up the duration long enough.

The better of society welfare makes the development rate of traffic as a means transportation is increasing as well. On the crossroad of Suprapto and Imam Bonjol street in Palangka Raya city, traffic conflicts often happened there due to the flow of traffic at the intersection is quite crowd in the morning, afternoon and evening. This study was conducted to analyze the performance of intersection by using MKJI done by comparing the time of red, green and circle time with the analysis results due to the changes in volume today. By using MKJI method, the variable is the size of the city, geometric, direction of flow, volume, velocity and phase. The results of the field survey dan the result of the analysis so the level of service and utilization of signal light at Suprapto � Imam Bonjol is good enough, but for the using of traffic light at the intersection is still needed because of the degree of saturation (DS) on pendekat North = 0.618, Pendekat West = 0.635 and Pendekat East = 0.364 which still meets the standard value of Degree of Saturation, that is = 0.85 with an average delay of 2.83 sec/smp, and it means that the crossroad did not have traffic jams during rush hour. At this crossroad, it does not need any setting with traffic lights, but it is enough to be paired in median only.

Third junction of Sungai Bengkel was a Signalized Intersection which a hasn’t have traffic jam ,which has three approach, are North approach, West approach and East approach. However, the alinyemen for the North approach has problems that make it difficult for vehicles, especially four-wheelers to turn because the effect bottle neck resulting in the slow motion of the vehicle and change of phase time . the problem solving, the evalution of traffic light and intersection geometry were carried out by widening  the alinyemen for the North approach and East approaches and doing changes in cycle time. The purpose of evaluating the performance of traffic light and Geometrics at the third intersection of Sungai Bengkel is to determine the value of the degree of saturation and to know the performance of the intersection.At the intersection planning, it refers to the PKJI 2014 for Intersection Performance, while for the Geometrics it refers to Module 4 of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing on Geometric Planning of Plane Intersections.Based on  the calculation results of the Sungai Bengkel junction performance indicate that, the degree of  saturation  < 0.85,which is 0.529 for North,  0.537 for East, and 0.570  for West .With the radius is 15 m, and the cycle  time of traffic light 50 second, with the delay time  as long as 17 second/pcu

Transportation problem is one of the problems that is faced in Tasikmalaya City especially at the intersection. Congestion problems and traffic conflicts often occur at a signal especially in intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya. One of the efforts made to reduce traffic conflicts and optimize the performance of the junction is by setting up the junction and optimizing the Simpang. The purpose of this research is to know the performance of intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya and provide recommendations for precise handling, as well as analyzing the traffic conflicts that occurred in the junction. The method used in the performance analysis of the junction signal is to use the calculations in the PKJI 2014, while for analysis of traffic conflicts used to determine the severity of the conflict at the intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya is using the method Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT). After analysis, the performance in the intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya Tasikmalaya has approached the critical number of the degree of saturation (DS) of 0.7 with level D. In addition to these problems, there is a traffic conflict crossing as many as 230 events (55%), merging as many as 145 events (35%) and diverging as many as 41 occurrences (10%). With the handling and recommendation of phase setting and cycle time setting, it is proven to suppress and minimize the decline of junction performance level to C level with the value of saturation of 0.58. This will also impact the reduction in the amount of traffic conflicts that occur.Keyword : intersection, traffic conflict, PKJI 2014, phase, cycle time

The number of students who coming from the outside of Yogyakarta is the main cause of the rapid growth. Hence, it’s impacted to transportation sector. In addition, one of the densenly traffic areas in Yogya phone’s Intersection. The purposes of this paper are to analize and evaluate the level of service provided by jogja phone’s intersection, and also identify the effect of saturation degree to number of stop. Based on traffic analysis cycle time, the service level to the traffic flow at the Jogja phone’s intersection at the present time is very low, that is F category. After the rearrangement process using MKJI 1997, it obtained a B level of service. In addition, the results of the analysis using SPSS 15, there is no significant effect between the degrees of saturation to the numbers of stop. Intersection of H.E.A. Mokodompit Street – M.T. Haryono – H.A. Nasution is one of the signalized intersections in Kendari City which has congestion problems, vehicle accumulation and vehicle queues at each arm of the intersection at rush hour due to the large volume of traffic flow and not optimal cycle timing from the traffic light signal. The purpose of this study is to optimize the cycle time of traffic control light signals based on traffic volume and to analyze the performance of these intersections. The results of the analysis based on the volume of traffic flow obtained the optimal cycle time of 72 seconds with the division of green time in each approach by 18 seconds for the north approach, 14 seconds for the eastern approach and 28 seconds for the south approach. The degree of saturation at each intersection arm is 0.82 which is at the service level D.

The Damar road section is a connecting lane for the Pasar Raya Padang area which starting to face parking problem. The indicator is the disruption of the flow and the high accumulation of parking volume on Jalan Belakang Olo section. These affected to the decrease on the level of the road services (LOS) on Jalan Damar Padang. So, the analysis of LOS, parking characteristics and parking management on Jalan Damar were carried out. The results of the parking characteristics analysis during the three days of observation showed that the average parking duration was 34-35 minutes, the maximum Parking Turn Over was 3.6 vehicles /day/space, and a maximum Parking Index was 84.91 %. The level of service level value indicated that the degree of saturation was 0.51 (DS <0.80) and it categorized to the B level; the flow classified stable with the average travel speeds ≥ 40 km / hr. The results of the traffic volume analysis trends and the volume of parked vehicles are contradictory. This could answer the question why that on parking activities the Jalan Damar did not caused a significant problem. Management of the on street parking through a Parking Meter Machine at this location is recommended. In the initial stage, the results of the parking characteristics analysis and the lay-out of parking lot can be offered. However, the further study will be needed to determined such as the vehicles growth rate and parking tariff to avoid the impact on the Level of Service.

Tabanan Regency is one of the regencies that is traversed by the main route connecting Gilimanuk-Denpasar so that the road is known as Jalan Raya Denpasar-Gilimanuk. The road is a National Road which is the main route connecting the districts in western Bali, namely Jembrana Regency, Tabanan Regency, Badung Regency and Denpasar City. In addition, with the increasing activities of the Tabanan community, especially those in the city of Tabanan who travel either to the city of Denpasar or to other areas, passing through this route which is the main route that serves transportation activities from Tabanan to Denpasar and vice versa. In this location there are many places that cause attraction, namely shopping centers, stalls and places of worship. Therefore, congestion on these roads often occurs, especially at peak hours of traffic flow (Peak Hour). This research was conducted on the performance of roads to determine the level of service. The data analysis process uses the method of calculating the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997). The results showed that the Tabanan-Denpasar road, Jl Ahmad Yani, during the COVID-19 pandemic PPKM level 4 was obtained, the road capacity was 2,457 smp/hour, the free flow speed was 46.48 km/hour, the degree of saturation was 0.79, the light vehicle speed value was 36 km/hour with a travel time of 25 seconds. Based on the value of the degree of saturation on the Tabanan-Denpasar road, Jl Ahmad Yani during the COVID-19 pandemic PPKM level 4 of 0.79, then the level of service for the road was entered at Service level D.

AbstractUnsignalised 3-way intersection at Jati Raya – Kahuripan Nirvana streets is an area with high traffic congestion. It caused by the increasing of vehicle volume at rush hour. In addition, the surrounded area of the intersection is a commercial area with a dense population and the intersection is also the main access to the toll road. To deal with these conditions, management and traffic engineering need to be done. The method of field surveys is conducted to obtain primary data and the existing condition. All the traffic data is obtained from the number of vehicles passing through the intersection for four days (27-30 May 2016). Then, all the data is recapitulated and calculated using the formula of Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual 1997. As the result, it can be concluded that the 3-way intersection at Jati Raya – Kahuripan Nirvana has the degree of saturation (DS) 1.23. This value is far from the one suggested by MKJI 1997 for the unsignalized 3-way intersection, i.e. DS = 0.85. Therefore, management and traffic engineering are conducted to overcome these conditions. The fourth alternative shows the DS 0,51 with Level of Service C.Keywords: Unsignalised Intersection, Degree of Saturation, Management and Traffic Engineering AbstrakSimpang tiga tak bersinyal pada jalan Jati Raya – Kahuripan Nirwana merupakan daerah yang sering mengalami kemacetan. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan pada simpang digunakan manajemen dan rekayasa lalu lintas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei lapangan untuk mendapatkan data primer dan kondisi eksisting. Data lalu lintas diperoleh dari jumlah kendaraan yang melintasi simpang selama empat hari (27-30 Mei 2016). Kemudian data tersebut diolah dengan perhitungan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa simpang jalan Jati Raya – Kahuripan Nirwana memiliki nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) = 1,23 dengan Level Of Service LOS (F) . Nilai itu jauh dari nilai yang disarankan oleh MKJI 1997 untuk simpang tak bersinyal yaitu DS = 0,85. Oleh karena itu dilakukan beberapa alternatif solusi manajemen dan rekayasa lalu lintas. The high growth rate of vehicles gives direct effect on high road traffic. The capacity of Surabaya-Gresik Highway, which is designed with 2 lanes on each lane, is no longer able to accommodate the existing traffic load. This is proven by frequent long traffic jams on Jalan dr. Wahidin S.H. Therefore it is the right time to construct the underpass.The purpose of this research was to define the peak hours, the degree of saturation, and the level of service that occurred on the road section of Dr. Wahidin S.H to the intersection of Gresik Grand Mosque due to the construction of the underpass in GKB Gresik. The method used in this study was identification of traffic character, traffic survey, and analysis of traffic performance of signalized intersections using the Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual. The results of the study were morning and afternoon peak hours. In the existing condition in 2020 the value of Saturation Degree (DS) was 0.858 > 0.75 (LOS) E. In 2026 in which it is 5-year prediction by using management of traffic engineering the value of degree saturation (DS) was 0.744 < 0.75, level of service (LOS) C. Conditions after management of traffic engineering with adjustment of traffic light time cycle at the intersection of Jl. Dr. Wahidin S.H. – Jl. Gresik – Babat – Jl. Mayjen Sungkono, widening of intersection geometry and the operation of left and right side frontage and setting of Traffic Signaling Equipment (APILL) showed a level of service (LOS) C, stable flow, but limited speed.

Intersection Telkom Jatiasih is one of the congestion point in Bekasi City. This is at leave because of the high volume of traffic and also a busy route from Bekasi to Jakarta and the surrounding area, plus the direction to the toll gate Jatiasih. There is no sign – traffic sign making of Intersection Telkom Jatiasih is an unsignable junction, this is what causes the flow of irregular vehicles causing congestion. The data retrieval method is done by surveying directly to the research site. Based on survey result in Telkom Jatiasih intersection, the highest vehicle volume accurred in the afternoon of Monday, April 29 th, 2019. Calculated results based on the field survey result data using the MKJI 1997 book guidelines, obtaining the Degree of Saturation (DS) = 1,86 with the Level Of Service F value, indicating the stopping of the vehicle current at the congestion point such as the meeting path, or repair lanes that cause a long queue of vehicles. On the road Of Wibawa Mukti II Highway – Jatiasihi the vehicle flows are still recorded stably with the Degree of Saturation (DS) = 1,16 with a Level Of Service F value which means the level of road service is still stable. From the research results get an alternative solution Telkom Jatiasih intersection is in alternative 2 because it gets a decrease in the Degree of Saturation (DS) = 1,11 with the value of the Level Of Service F which means high traffic flow condition, but Current conditions are still stable.
