From my point of view, Paul Dobrescu is one of the very few independent scholars and researchers in Romania, in the area of political and economic analysis. His studies do not answer to “orders” or fashions; They are based on sources and expertise that cannot be denied, and are built on broad cultural, historical, political and economic perspectives. Development, one of the main topics of the author, is examined in its complexity, as a testimony of a country or of a culture.

This book is the second volume of the two-volume The Oxford Handbook of the Economics of Sports which includes articles by nearly all of the important authors in the quickly growing field of sports economics. The two volumes consider in depth the ways that economics and sports interact with each other. To start with, economic analysis has helped with the understanding of many of the different institutions in sports. Secondly, quality data about individual productivity, salaries, career histories, teamwork, and managerial behavior has been useful in helping economists study topics as varied as the economics of discrimination, salary dispersion, and antitrust policy. The volumes are also rich from the point of view of the sports fan. Every major team sport is covered, and many interesting comparisons can be made especially between the North American League organization and the European-style promotion and relegation leagues. Golf, NASCAR, college athletics, women's sports, the Olympics, and even bowling are represented in these pages.

We have viewed a business in the south of the Great Plain Region from an economic point of view in 2004-2005. The main activity there is pear growing and storage. Four varieties of different time of ripening and storing are grown there. We have measured all the relevant activities, worked out a local normative and prepared a detailed technology. The economic evaluation was based on this data. Activities, like disinfection, pre-storage disinfection and selection, in-storing and out-storing, classification after storage, packaging, as well as loading trucks, were monitored by variety. Storage loss was determined and widely varied according to varieties, length of storage and time of out-storing. Different varieties resulted in different quality classes after storage. Price depended on the quality classes. Economic evaluation was carried out when all the relevant costs and revenues were known. Fixed and variable costs of storage were determined, break-even point was calculate and the market position of the product was evaluated.

The techno-economic analysis of a PV system is designed to measure the viability of the designed system from an economical and technological point of view assuming some specific environmental conditions. In this research, for the techno-economic analysis of PV system the authors are focused on four general categories of factors which are highly influential on the investment decision in this field. These are the PV system costs, the electricity cost, the sunlight and other environmental characteristics and the financial incentives. Each of this factors is analyzed in order to understand and evaluate the general conditions that influence the decision in the photovoltaic business. The methodology that is used for explaining the real business environment in PV field and the main indicators that can estimate the investment profitability is the case study related to formal opportunities for developing PV investment projects in Romania. The investors in PV field have to understand the life cycle of a PV system that can give an overlook of the cost reduction opportunities and also make them sensible to the decommissioning phase of such an investment. For future investments in the PV field in Europe the authors identified and analyzed the main factors that characterize the PV business development in the next period.

The relevance of work is caused by importance of correlation of the legal methods established by the power and the economic maintenance of the adjustable relations. In article the general approaches to legal regulation of economy, on the one hand, and to the economic analysis of law – with another are analyzed. The author argues the point of view according to which the correlation "law and economy" and differentiation of the economic analysis of continental and common law is necessary. Arguments in support of the centralized legal regulation and economic management of economy are adduced. Further author's main characteristics "the economic analysis of law" in the changing state of the Russian Federation, since 1990 are granted. In the most general sense methodological and ideological bases of approach to definition of legal regulation of economic management in the socialist and capitalist state are defined. According to the author, capitalism is also the deadlock direction of economic development. The approach existing in an economics represents attempt to extend phenomena of the neoclassical economic theory and neo institutionalism to the spheres of the public relations which are not connected with economy (i.e. economic approach to all social problems). Demand is not exclusively economic category, it extends also to the sphere of the right which is estimated also on availability, the price, alternative costs, usefulness. The author proves need of the researches covering boundary subject of law and economy. Arguments in support of this point of view are adduced. The conclusion is in conclusion drawn that need of researches on a joint of the right and economy is obvious now, and it concerns not only legal, but also equally economic science. At the same time interaction of sciences has to be carried out as equals, and amendments have to concern both fields of knowledge. In this regard researches "the rights and economies" can become one of the most perspective directions of development within both law, and economy.

In a ship planning can not be separated from the planning of the ship launching process. A ship can glide perfectly if it has a high enough planning time and costs. The launch process itself is divided into several ways. The choice of this method needs to be considered because it relates to the budget and preparations made. The method used is the calculation according to the numerical approach assisted by computational software. In the first calculation it is planned with the slipway launch, and then the next one is planned with the airbags that have been implemented previously. The purpose of this study is to provide analysis results as a consideration in implementing the slipway and airbag ship launching method on KM ships. Belt Nusantara 72 measuring 2000 DWT. In steps 5 to 6, both the slipway and the airbags experience a stern lift condition with a value (yVd) of 1396.97 ton.  Based on the economic analysis of the hours of people using airbags, there is a decrease in working hours by 44% when compared to the launch using a slipway. This also happened to work productivity where it was 84% more time effective. When viewed from an investment point of view, the use of slipways is actually more economical than airbag, the difference is 43% more economical using slipways. Both types of launch can be applied by looking at the economical side and the ability of each shipyard in carrying out the launching process and seeing the main size of the ship to be launched.

The article deals with the main provisions of Richard Posners book How judges think, which is, according to the authors own assessment, an attempt by an American scientist to understand the motives that guide judges in making judgments. The emphasis Posner puts on psychology leads to the fact that the book gives the right to talk about how judges think, not about judicial behavior: considering traits, temperament, race and gender, as well as personal and professional experience. From all the above Richard Posner concludes that judges are guided by the rationality of actions and decisions. Therefore, special attention in this article is paid to the concept of rationality from the point of view of Posner himself, as well as the assessment of this concept from the point of view of Russian scientists V.L. Tambovtsev and L.V. Smorgunov, since this concept of rational choice reveals the essence of economic analysis of law. Special attention should be paid to the argument that according to Richard Posner, rational choice does not have to be without error in the conditions of lack of information or the complexity of its collection and analysis. The arguments of Henry Beckett, as one of the founders of the economic analysis of law, on rationality in the Commission of an offense are given. Also, the article considers the facts that allow to state that at present the economic analysis of the law has gone far beyond the initial attention to Antimonopoly regulation, taxation, regulation of public utilities, corporate Finance and other usual areas of economic regulation, the range of issues that can be resolved through economic analysis of the law is much wider and more diverse. According to the results of races-judgements and the estimation of economic analysis of law and the category of rationality in the legal field.

The modern world is characterized by an era of modernization, globalization, a large amount of information and increased employment of the economically active population. An increasing proportion of parents are trying to send their pre-school children to different sections for comprehensive development. Since most organizations that provide leisure and educational services are subsidized by the state, an attempt has been made to review their activities and analyze popular leisure activities of the younger generation from the point of view of economic analysis of income and expenses.

Abstract This paper presents an economical assessment of the benefits of introducing 5G technologies into pilot use cases pertaining to the railroad transportation and energy sectors. For each of the pilots, undergone by EFACEC Engenharia e Sistemas and EFACEC Energia, respectively, under the scope of the H2020 5Growth project, evaluates the expenditure and benefits expected from introducing 5G capabilities over their on-going operations. This evaluation is expressed regarding the Portugal case, and are also scaled to assess the European-wide case. The main objective of the study summarized in this paper is to understand if solutions proposed by the H2020 5Growth project, and 5G as a whole, are also advantageous from an economic point of view. The results of the techno-economic analysis reported in this paper show, on a European scale, millions of euros saved by the different stakeholders involved in the deployment of 5G solutions.

Today, the hydrogen is considered an essential element in speeding up the energy transition and generate important environmental benefits. Not all hydrogen is the same, though. The “green hydrogen”, which is produced using renewable energy and electrolysis to split water, is really and completely sustainable for stationary and mobile applications. This paper is focused on the techno-economic analysis of an on-site hydrogen refueling station (HRS) in which the green hydrogen production is assured by a PV plant that supplies electricity to an alkaline electrolyzer. The hydrogen is stored in low pressure tanks (200 bar) and then is compressed at 900 bar for refueling FCHVs by using the innovative technology of the ionic compressor. From technical point of view, the components of the HRS have been sized for assuring a maximum capacity of 450 kg/day. In particular, the PV plant (installed in the south of Italy) has a size of 8MWp and supplies an alkaline electrolyzer of 2.1 MW. A Li-ion battery system (size 3.5 MWh) is used to store the electricity surplus and the grid-connection of the PV plant allows to export the electricity excess that cannot be stored in the battery system. The economic analysis has been performed by estimating the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) that is an important economic indicator based on the evaluation of investment, operational & maintenance and replacement costs. Results highlighted that the proposed on-site configuration in which the green hydrogen production is assured, is characterized by a LCOH of 10.71 €/kg.
