This research is motivated by the lack of ability of group A children in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Candi in recognizing the symbol of numbers. Based on a preliminary study in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Temple found that 70.59% of 17 Kindergarten A children were still wrong in recognizing good symbols when asked to say by sorting number cards, dancing lines according to the number of drawings, counting many marbles and pasting numbers right. These problems are caused by the introduction of non-matching number symbols, and non-concrete learning media (using worksheets). The solution provided is the introduction of the number symbol by playing snakes and ladders with steps to recognize the symbol number. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subject of the action was the children of group A "Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Candi, totaling 17 children, each with 13 boys and 4 girls. In this study using three stages, namely pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results of this study that have been carried out to improve the ability to recognize child group A symbols in Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Kindergarten Temple show that the ability to recognize child number symbols from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II has increased. In the pre-cycle completeness the overall value of group A was 29.41%, the first cycle completeness the overall value of group A was 52.94%, and in the second cycle the completeness value of group A was 82.35%. This proves that there is an increase in the ability to recognize child number symbols after a study using a snake ladder game in learning material.

The background of research is students have less motivation in learning English and some students feel difficult in understand vocabularies that were pronounced. As a result, they did not know the word and its meaning. It happens because they couldn’t hear the articulation of the word clearly. The objective of this research is to find out is YouTube vlog can improve students’ listening skill of eighth grade at MTs DDI Tani Aman Loa Janan.  The design of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which researcher following Kemmis and McTaggart action research procedures. The subject of this research was students of VIIIB at MTs DDI Tani Aman were about 29 students. The instrument of this research is observation checklist, test, and field note. The result of this research indicates that there was improvement of the students’ listening skill. Most of the students gradually gained good scores at the second cycle. The score of Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) of English lesson was 75.00. In the preliminary study there were 2 students or 7.69% students who passed the KKM and mean score of preliminary study was 28.51. Next, the result of the first cycle showed that there were 9 students or 31.03% students who passed the KKM considering their mean score of the test gained 145.47%. next, the result of the second cycle shows that there were 27 students or 96.42% students who passed the KKM which their mean scores derived 88.21 and gained 209.40% of improvement. So, the final result is found that more than 75% students with individual score in listening skill passed the KKM.

Abstrak Bahasa IndonesiaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris materi mendiskripsiskan teks sederhana bentuk undangan dan bagian-bagiannya pada siswa kelas 8 G SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 melalui penerapan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 (dua) siklus, dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo dengan subjek penelitian seluruh siswa kelas 8 G SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hipotesis menyatakan diduga melalui penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris materi mendiskripsiskan teks sederhana bentuk undangan dan bagian-bagiannya pada siswa kelas 8 G SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Dari data empirik menyatakan melalui penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris materi mendiskripsiskan teks sederhana bentuk undangan dan bagian-bagiannya dari kondisi awal nilai rata-rata 70 dengan ketuntasan 55% ke kondisi akhir pada siklus II nilai rata-rata 80 dengan ketuntasan 85% pada siswa kelas 8 G SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Hypothesis states allegedly through the application of contextual approach can improve learning outcomes English material mendiscripsiskan simple text form of invitation and its parts on the student grade 8 G SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo first semester Lesson 2017/2018. From the empirical data states through the application of contextual approach can improve the English learning result of the material to describe the simple text of invitation form and its parts from the initial condition of the average value of 70 with the completeness 55% to the final condition in cycle II the average value 80 with the completeness 85 % in grade 8 students of SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo in the first semester of Study Year 2017/2018. So it can be concluded that through the application of contextual approach can improve learning outcomes English material mendiskripsiskan simple text form of invitation and its parts on the students of grade 8 G SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo first semester Lesson 2017/2018. The research aimed at the use of picture series to improve the students’ speaking ability of tenth graders in narrative text. In accordance with the findings of preliminary study which showed that the students’ speaking performance was low, the researcher chose speaking as the focus skill to be improved. The skill was chosen because the students faced many difficulties to perform this skill, such as the lack of vocabulary, the coherence in speaking, and the difficulty to express the ideas. The study applied a classroom action research that was conducted in two cycles consisting of five meetings. The subject of this research was 34 tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Malang. The findings of the research revealed that using picture series improved the students’ speaking score in some aspects of speaking skills, comprising fluency, pronunciation, content, and coherence. Besides, it could make the student eager to be involved in the teaching and learning process.

This current study is aiming to investigate the enhancement of students’ translation works of both process and result served by the Student Teams Achievement Division as a learning technique. The study was managed in one private university in Banten Province, Indonesia. Classroom action research was used as a method, and 15 students participated in the study as the subject of the research. The data collecting technique was triangulated by using observation, test, and documentation. The result proves that Student Teams Achievement Division may help students to work cooperatively; they can share and discuss the learning material; then, they can support each other. The results also prove that the average score of pre-cycle is 72 while after Student Teams Achievement Division implementation it improves to 81 in cycle I and 85 in cycle II. Both are categorized as Very Good Translation results. Therefore, it proves that Student Teams Achievement Division can significantly enhance students’ translation works of both process and result, and it can be served as an alternative way in teaching and learning translation.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

The background of this research is the low of mathematics learning result of grade 1 student of SDN 004Tembilahan Kota, for that done perbaiakan learning process by applying method of discussion. This researchwas conducted in SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota with the subject of research is the first grade students with 36students. This research is a classroom action research conducted two cycles. Based on the results of theresearch, it is found that the use of the method of disuksi can improve the students' learning outcomes aboutknowing and determining the length and weight with nonstandard units using concrete objects / concretesituation in the initial data, the total number of completed students is 12 students (33.3%) average 55.83. In thefirst cycle has increased the number of students who complete is 26 students (77.22%) with an average value of80.00. In the second cycle has increased with the total number of students who completed is 32 students (88.89)with an average value of 88.06.

he background of this study is the low learning outcomes of English students. Of the 22 students only 9 studentsreached KKM. On this basis researchers do research by applying cooperative learning model type NHT toimprove English learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research conducted in SMPN 1 Inuman,the subject of this study is the students of class VII with the number of 22 students. The results suggest that thelearning outcomes of English have increased in each cycle. This is evidenced by: In the basic score of thenumber of students who reached KKM or complete is 9 students (40.90%), the UH I has increased with thenumber of 17 students (77.27%) and in UH II increased with the number of 20 students (90.90%). In the basicscore of the learning result of the students get the value of 51,25 with the low category, at UH I experiencing theincrease of learning result with the acquisition value of 65,76 with the medium category, and at UH II studentlearning result again increase with the acquisition value equal to 79,25 with high category.

The learning of listening to the story of the child has been given to the students of grade VI of SD Negeri 020Tembilahan Hilir. However, the existing picture shows that classically, the result only reaches an average of20% or is not satisfactory based on preliminary tests. This research is a classroom action research conducted byclass VI SD Negeri 020 Tembilahan Hilir with subject 20 people. Data collection techniques through tests andobservations. Then the analysis technique is done descriptively. The result of the research concludes that thestudents' learning achievement has increased. This is seen in the preliminary study of 20%, or only 4 studentsout of 20 students completed, in the first cycle increased to 50% because of 20 students 10 students, and in thesecond cycle increased by 85% of 20 students 17 students.

The background of this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 011 Desa Baru, to overcome this problem a classroom action research was conducted by applying fraction card media. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 011 Desa Baru, the subject of this study was class VI students with a total of 24 students. The results of this study show that mathematics learning outcomes have increased in pre-cycle average value obtained is 59.8, in the first cycle obtained an average value of 68.3. And in the second cycle obtained an average value of 82.9. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes in simple fraction material increase after the fraction card media are applied.
